Joe Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Doesn’t Exist. It’s Just A Press Release

Joe Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Doesn’t Exist. It’s Just A Press Release

Americans are no longer living under representative government. We are living under government by the screen people, of the screen people, for the screen people.

Yes, we’ve heard all about Joe Biden’s alleged vaccine mandate for private companies employing 100 or more people. It was all over the news even before he announced it on September 9. His announcement has jeopardized the employment of millions of Americans and increased worker shortages in critical domains such as health care.

There’s only one problem. It’s all a mirage. Biden’s so-called vaccine mandate doesn’t exist — at least, not yet. So far, all we have is his press conference and other such made-for-media huff-puffing. No such rule even claiming to be legally binding has been issued yet.

That’s why nearly two dozen Republican attorneys general who have publicly voiced their opposition to the clearly unconstitutional and illegal mandate haven’t yet filed suit against it, the Office of the Indiana Attorney General confirmed for me. There is no mandate to haul into court. And that may be part of the plan.

According to several sources, so far it appears no such mandate has been sent to the White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs yet for approval. The White House, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Department of Labor haven’t released any official guidance for the alleged mandate. There is no executive order. There’s nothing but press statements.

Despite what you may have been falsely led to believe by the media fantasy projection machine, press statements have exactly zero legal authority.

“There is nothing there yet that gives employers any mandate,” Stephanie McFarland, spokeswoman for the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, told me Oct. 6. “The president made an announcement on this asking OSHA to do it, but we’ve not yet seen anything come from it yet,” she also said. When the state agency gets any further information, she said, they’ll review it.

The Great Divorce: Divided We Stand

The Balkanized States of America Pt1: 'A Myth For The Ages ...

America is badly divided. The evidence for this sad state of affairs abounds.

For the record, I know a bit about countries in various degrees of separation. I was closely affiliated with the Brexit movement in the United Kingdom, which saw it leave the European Union.

I was on the team that helped bring down the Soviet Union. I advised various Eastern European governments in their reform and detachment from the Eastern bloc both before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. I have—as an American diplomat and in the United Nations as Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe—helped many countries avoid economic collapse, civil strife, or bloody partition.

So, let’s honestly consider the present state of affairs in our own country.

Red states versus blue states. Democratic socialists against nationalist conservatives. Those in blue states want a different constitution, more left-wing states, the end to the Electoral College, the packing of the Supreme Court, defunding the police, and wokeism based on identity politics as the default ideology. They oppose American traditional values, religious pluralism, and generally feel shame about sharing a country with their fellow citizens in flyover country. They no longer want to have the America we know and love.

I say let them go; or let us go from them. Divide and avoid a coming clash. This is a risk-reward scenario and, while there are downsides, the upsides of a divorce outweigh all of the costs. This is not secession in the 19th century sense of the term—it is a mutually managed separation: a good outcome. There is little that is satisfying about it, but it may have become a necessity. In economics we call this the second-best option, ceteris paribus.

ATF Fraud Finally Recognized by National Media

If the whistleblower’s accusations are true, and if something is done about it, the abusive ATF employees will end up felons, like on this sign.

A CBS News investigation uncovered allegations of fraud, waste and abuse at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives,” CBS News claims in a breaking exclusive. “A whistleblower said he lost his job after he flagged the alleged violations to his superiors.”

The gist of it revolves around fraudulent pay practices, with certain employees reaping millions in unearned Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP). The ironic thing is, the feds are prosecuting an Illinois police officer for fraudulent timekeeping because his department had received federal funds and he now faces up to 10 years in prison. That means some of these  “time bandits” could end up becoming “prohibited persons.”

It’s no surprise that anchor Norah O’Donnell’s takeaway is that ATF needs a permanent director, a not-so-subtle swipe at the rejection of gun-grab zealot David Chipman’s confirmation rejection.  While it’s true that widespread time reporting abuses point squarely at management either not doing its job or deliberately encouraging a culture of corruption, Chipman, as this column will show after walking through some past reports for background, is alleged to be part of the problem.

“Proceed With Caution At Your Own Peril” – Merck’s COVID ‘Super Drug’ Poses Serious Health Risks, Scientists Warn

As it turns out, all the scientists and doctors who insisted that Merck’s “revolutionary” COVID drug molnupiravir is extremely safe weren’t faithfully adhering to “the science” after all. Because according to a report published Thursday by Barron’s, some scientists are worried that the drug – which purportedly cut hospitalizations in half during a study that was cut short – could cause cancer or birth defects.

So much for having a “strong safety profile,” as Dr. Scott Gottlieb claimed in an interview on the day Merck first publicized the research.

It’s perfectly understandable why Merck might choose to play down this safety risk: assuming it’s approved, the drug is widely expected to be one of “the most lucrative drugs ever” – which is one reason why Merck’s shares soared into double-digit territory after the announcement.

As we reported earlier this week, Merck and its “partner” Ridgeback Biotherapeutics will profit immensely by charging customers up to 40x what it costs to make the drug, which Ridgeback originally licensed from Emory University for an “undisclosed sum”. The drug was developed with funding from the federal government.

According to Barron’s, some scientists who have studied the drug believe that its method of suppressing the virus could potentially run amok within the body.

Dr. Shuntai Zhou, a scientist at the Swanstrom Lab at UNC, said “there is a concern that this will cause long-term mutation effects, even cancer.”
