We put our house up for sale in Murphy, NC. What is not part of the description is that it is one of the best sites for ham radio available. I was able to hit repeaters in North Atlanta, Chattanooga and Knoxville. It also has one road in and one road out.

Update:

We were led to Murphy by God in 2010 as many others have been led. We bought 28 acres in 2016 and built a 5000 sq. ft. community center. This center has multiple uses which I will not detail here. This site also has a shooting range and 1000 sq. ft. workshop. We are in the finishing stages of building a home here above the center to consolidate our property and resources. The above house is about 5 miles from the center.

YouTube demonetized my channel years ago based on their ideology. I did not care since I did not want to make money on my efforts to organize the resistance. But even that is not good enough for Google: they are going to put advertisements on my videos for their own profit. Evil never rests.

Savagery or civilization?

Imagine you had been picked as a juror for the Derek Chauvin trial. Before you hear a shred of evidence, you very well might make a decision most people would not only admit was the better part of valor, but that harmonized perfectly with prevailing morality.

Your pretrial verdict? Guilty. There had been threats since Chauvin was charged with second and third degree murder and second-degree manslaughter that acquittals would provoke rampaging riots. After the riots last summer, no one could doubt the threats’ credibility. A guilty verdict on all counts could avoid injuries, deaths, and billions of dollars in property damage. Against those consequences, what do the rights or the life of a policeman matter? You’re predetermined verdict is for the greater good.

Even if such considerations never entered your head, you’d need extraordinary courage and independence to impartially hear the evidence and if you thought it warranted, vote for acquittal. You’d have to withstand pressure from your fellow jurors. You’d run the risk that your personal information was leaked by some mainstream or social media scumbag and mostly peaceful thugs showed up at your door. You might be canceled out of a job, your business network, and your social circle. Your privacy would be obliterated and reputation ruined in the wilting glare of nonstop publicity and odium. Politicians and other public figures would denounce you.

• Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer apologized Sunday after she was caught dining maskless indoors with a dozen people, violating her own COVID restrictions.
• Photos first reported by Breitbart News showed Whitmer dining with at least a dozen other people at The Landshark Bar & Grill in East Lansing, Michigan.
• “Yesterday, I went with friends to a local restaurant. As more people arrived, the tables were pushed together,” the governor said. “Because we were all vaccinated, we didn’t stop to think about it. In retrospect, I should have thought about it. I am human. I made a mistake, and I apologize.”
