T.L. Davis: Fight For It

Despite the fact that the Constitution of the United States of America has largely been ignored, defamed and dismissed, it continues as a legal document and as a formal message from the founding fathers to future generations. They could not be here to fight every war for us or even every battle, but the purpose of the Constitution was to give us the weapons with which to fight for ourselves, for our nation, our land that we live on. The weapons are there for us to use, if we want freedom. But, no one is going to give it to us, or live up to their obligations to follow it. It is the moment Mike Vanderboegh identified in the book Catch 22 which really is: “We can do anything you can’t stop us from doing.” Someone has to stop the madness and that someone is you.

Breaking down the Second Amendment is important right now, this minute, for people to understand their roles in the upcoming fight for this nation. “A well-regulated militia…” Let’s start with that. A well-regulated militia is a formation of the people, the farmers, the store clerks, the truck drivers, the factory workers, etc., who are trained to some degree, if only how to hold, aim and fire their weapons at the instruction of commanders or if unstructured when they are endangered in their position. It is NOT what the media and politicians have said in that it is the National Guard. No force, paid by the government, can be the “militia” that is reserved solely for the people themselves, i.e. land owners and equity holders in the republic, reliant upon a free society to support their lives. The Second Amendment does not apply to government forces who can be manipulated by the very enemies of the people who command them.

“…being necessary to the security of a free state…” The founders who had just fought a vicious and largely unsupported war to be free of a distant and unresponsive government who viewed them as nothing more than wealth miners of the new world, subject to the military authority of the crown for obedience, fully understood that the only way to secure a “free state” was to arm the average person whose life and liberty would be at threat from a similar government, perhaps the very one they were devising in Philadelphia. They did not know the future and probably would have been surprised that their document guided America through more than two centuries before it also became so corrupt and meaningless as to threaten the lives and liberty of its citizens.

I’m sure that most people have read the Second Amendment so often that they might have become blind to what it really means, or have accepted other’s definitions without much thought. Read that phrase one more time. “being necessary to the security of a free state…” I hold that “…a free state…” can have a couple of different meanings. It can mean that we are all armed so that we can secure our state the political subdivision of the whole, from the union, should the union of states become corrupt and damaging to the one state, or it could mean the union as a whole, or it could mean an individual’s state of being free. At this point in time, any definition one wants to accept for “…a free state…” works as any and all are under prescient threat.

It’s time to stop looking to the corrupt for honesty. It’s time to stop looking at officials for guidance. It’s time to stop expecting anyone to do the job of the citizen. There is only one militia, it is the people. The militia has a right to keep and bear arms, not for hunting or self defense, but the defense of the nation, their lives and their liberty. If you want freedom, you are going to have to fight for it like almost every American generation in history. Some of those who have fought on foreign soil for some political objective that kept changing understand what is expected, but this time it is for their homeland, to secure it from globalists that do not recognize individual rights. It is a fight for the ground their children and grandchildren play on. It is for the right of self determination. You can’t imagine the nation we will live in if we do not fight to preserve this one and I suggest that we should go further than that. If they force us to arms, by their inability to restore our rights, we must not put them down until the corrupt who have conspired with the communist governments abroad have been ruthlessly ripped from their seats of power. There is no going back to some previous version of America, there are no roads to the past. We have to build a new road, first with arms and then with reason. But, this stolen election cannot be our last breath of freedom. It is a cause to fight. Let them go through the motions, but in the end only the eighty million people who were robbed of their consent have standing in the court of the republic.

This Is Our Future

The reality of Cuba’s transition from Capitalism to Communism is what our enemies want for the United States. Do you want to be subjugated to living in trash as stated in this video? Or will you stand up and fight the enemy at our gates?

Chuck Schumer Endorses Biden’s Plan To Force Public Schools To Allow Males In Female Bathrooms

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer supports former Vice President Joe Biden’s plans to force schools receiving federal funding to accommodate students’ who want to use bathrooms, locker rooms, and play sports with students of the opposite biological sex.

“Joe Biden said that on his first day of office, he will give transgender students access to sports, bathrooms and locker rooms in accordance with their gender identity in federally funded schools,” a reporter stated. “Do you think he has the ability to do this and do you agree with his decision?”

“I agree with the decision and I know he’ll check things out thoroughly, legally,” Schumer responded.

n addition to granting transgender students’ privileges in the bathroom and on the field, Biden has promised to use “executive authority” to “immediately reverse” the Trump administration’s policies that he believes are discriminatory and implement an agenda to “advance global LGBTQ+ rights and development.”

Just Walk Away

Why I can't blame the ones who walk away

If you are over the age of forty, you have been hearing, in one form or another, the argument that you must vote Republican to keep the Left from turning America into a socialist country. The pitch gets punched up with promises on certain issues, depending upon the audience, but the basic argument has never changed. The reason to vote for the Republicans is to prevent the Left from doing socialisms. About half the time, this is enough to win elections and keep the parties equal.

It is hard to pinpoint when this argument became the standard pitch for conservatives and the GOP, but the 1990’s is a good guess. After 12 years of Republican presidents, the degenerate Bill Clinton took the helm promising all sorts of Great Society style programs, like socialized medicine. Newt Gingrich responded with the Contract with America and the GOP took the House for the first time in generations. The reason is people wanted to stop those socialisms!

In fairness, from the perspective of the standard issue conservative, the Clinton years were a golden age. Clinton started no pointless wars of choice on behalf of unnamed people working for an unnamed country. Inflation adjusted per capita spending was flat for the first time in forever. The deficit declined and there were a few years in which there was a budget surplus. Clinton even signed off on welfare reform, a long-standing conservative goal going back to the 1960’s.

Then the conservatives told everyone that Bush was a slightly retarded Reagan, who would usher in a new conservative resolution. In the Bush years the Republicans had the House, Senate and White House. Spending skyrocketed, we got two pointless wars of choice on behalf of unnamed people working for an unnamed country and they added the foundations of a police state for good measure. From the perspective of the standard issue conservative, Bush was a disaster.

In 2006 and 2008, many sensible white people did the sensible thing and walked away from the Republicans. In 2006 and 2008, the Democrats had huge electoral victories, winning the House, Senate and White House. People forget that they had veto and filibuster proof majorities in both chambers in 2008. Again, we heard the cry from Republicans that the only way to stop the bogeyman from putting socialisms on you was to vote for them so they could stop the socialisms.

Sometimes the worst thing that can happen is you get what you want. This has been the case with both standard issue conservatives and the GOP. That old pitch about voting Republican worked and it kept working, but in the process, it hollowed out both conservatism and the Republican Party. They went from being a movement with a laundry list of reforms and goals to being a collection of mediocrities at the railyard yelling “stop” for some reason.

We’re Almost There

Struggling Business Owner

You need to read this Julie Kelly column:

     Dave Morris was fed up.

As a gainfully-employed television news reporter aired a live segment outside a small café to tell viewers that Morris was keeping his business open despite a government order to close it, the Portage, Michigan restaurant owner confronted him. The Kalamazoo Health Department had issued a warning to Morris on December 1 for allowing indoor dining against the wishes of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer; he was instructed to shut down his business immediately or face a fine imposed by the government.

The local journalist was on the scene, however, to tattle.

“Everyone needs to stand up,” Morris told WWMT-TV reporter Tavarious Haywood on Wednesday. “This isn’t an order . . . this is tyranny. Wake up, stand up, this is America, be free.” (Haywood later tweeted about his own bravery in the face of an “angry business owner” who “interrupted” him.)

Morris, who has owned D&R’s Daily Grind Cafe for 12 years, said he’s lost $100,000 in business this year and is going broke. “I can go down quietly or I can go down making some noise so people understand what’s going on,” he said.

Dave Morris is an American hero, one I’d be proud to know personally and to stand beside. Anyone who reads the rest of the column without his blood pressure grazing 200 should check his pulse: you may have died and not noticed. A living American should be incensed to the point of violence.

     So why aren’t we?

To rebel, you have to be angry: angry enough that it overwhelms your fear. So ask yourself:

     What do I fear?
Is the threat fact or fiction?
How highly do I value my freedom?
How angry am I at the tyrants?
Why am I waiting for permission to live and work like a free man from tyrants who won’t even comply with their own dictates?

Measure your anger against your fear. Which is greater – and why?

Observations and Frustrations From A Friend

We the Sheeple" Mask by Kathrine2302 | Redbubble

The following was emailed to me from a friend who wishes to remain Anonymous.

The election is stolen and the controlla virus is being used to see exactly who is going to obey the Communist. In the last couple of weeks, I traveled from Atlanta to Hampton Roads for work and it amazes me. People have literally lost their minds. I see these dumb ass people in the cars, alone, and they have a mask on. I see the looks that I get from folks, because I do not wear a mask. People wake up! The contagion and death rates for Covid 19 are much lower than the common flu that the United States has every year.

People will say, “well, they say you have to wear a mask.”  To quote a line from the Wild Bunch; “they, who in the hell is they?” A governor or a president  who spouts out mandates are tyrants. A mandate is a suggestion and not a law. I chose not to listen to the suggestion because I am my own man, a free man. The folks who try to enforce such bullshit are useful idiots, and should not be listened to. Then the sheeple say that they are just doing their jobs. I guess that the SS Totenkopfverbände (German Concentration Camp Guards) were just doing their jobs when they “eased” the folks into the cattle cars or the gas chambers? Stand up, be a man, SAY No. You remember Nancy’s slogan, “JUST SAY NO”.

I hear folks tell me how they would never go for gun control and they are not sheeple, they are a man’s man. Bullshit! If you will do something as simple as wear a mask because you were told to, then you will give up your weapons and tell on your neighbors when the hard times really get here. In fact, they will take and turn in their weapons when they get in line for their vaccination and vaccination identifier card.

The folks you think you know and can trust, you should reevaluate! If they will wear a mask, they will not stand up to the man and can not be counted on when the really hard times get on us!

Look what Lin Wood found out… GA is so corrupt, even the Republican for Senate Loeffler owns Dominion stock.

“Are you kidding me? @KLoeffler bought $5M-$25M of Dominion stock on 3/13/20, 7 days before @GaSecofState made backroom deal with Dems to change absentee ballots without approval of legislature? Is Kelly a Communist buddy due to husband’s NYSE ownership?

We must drain GA Swamp. https://t.co/GnOsV0qCZP
— Lin Wood (@LLinWood) December 4, 2020″

And CCP is tied to 75% ownership in Dominion, seller of voting machines to GA for $107M in 2109. @BrianKempGA & @GaSecofState made that deal.

Vanderboegh: A Handgun Against An Army – Ten Years After

“Bravo! Well said Sir! More truer words have rarely been spoken. You inspire and embolden us to protect and defend our rights. Please do not let your voice be silenced.” — “Anonymous” reaction to “What Good Can A Handgun Do Against an Army?” 2006.

Almost a decade ago now, I penned “A Letter From Hagood’s Crossroads, Alabama,” subtitled “What Good Can a Handgun Do Against an Army?”

Incredible.

Over the years it has proven to be the single most popular piece I have ever written. To this day, I get emails and snail mails from folks who have stumbled across it for the first time, thanking me for writing it. It is a humbling experience for a scribbler such as myself to realize that he has struck a chord in his audience — humbling and gratifying.

Still, I have always meant to rework “Handgun” to correct some of the minor errors and irritating flaws that always occur whenever you whip out a topical opinion piece, as I did this one. For example, one of the things that always bothered me was that I was forced to paraphrase Hopper explaining the facts of life to his marauding gang of ATF/biker/bandido grasshoppers in “A Bug’s Life.” In the re-issue below, I correct that. Indeed, thanks to technological advances in the intervening years, I am now able to give you the YouTube link so you can HEAR Hopper’s presentation of the dialectic of tyranny yourself with just a click of the mouse.
