Dealing with Uncertainty & Intelligence

One of the current themes in the U.S. right now is uncertainty over election results and what plays out between November and January. There’s not just electoral uncertainty, but also uncertainty over civil unrest and disruption coming out of election results.

Luckily, intelligence reduces uncertainty about the future, so these are not impossible questions to answer.

Today, I’m going to write about how to deal with the two most frequent sources of uncertainty: Accuracy and Credibility of reporting. If you acknowledge that Intelligence Drives the Fight, then intelligence analysts are like the fuel filter of your engine. If you don’t learn how to identify the good, the bad, and the ugly, then you are going to put low grade fuel and particulates into your engine. It’s not going to drive as smoothly and as quickly as you need it to. Intelligence matters. Analysis matters.

ACCURACY: The first problem of uncertainty is accuracy. Intelligence analysts depend on reported information, whether that’s coming from HUMINT sources, SIGINT, OSINT, or some other source.

The analyst’s first job is reducing his own uncertainty by determining the accuracy of the reported information. Can this information be confirmed through other reporting? Can it be denied through other reporting? Is it consistent with what we know or believe to be true? Often, we can only ascribe some level of confidence in its veracity: this information is likely true, or unlikely to be true. There aren’t many slam dunks in intelligence.

CREDIBILITY: Another source of uncertainty that plagues analysis is the credibility of the source. What is the source’s reporting history? Does he have a history of providing reliable information? If so, then he has built credibility. If not, then he has no credibility, either through reporting falsely or not having any prior reporting. Once a source’s credibility can be established, the analyst can work towards reducing uncertainty.

Clapper, Brennan: Hunter Biden Emails ‘Russian Disinformation’ Whether ‘Genuine or Not’

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 10: FBI Director James Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan (L-R) testify before the Senate (Select) Intelligence Committee in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill January 10, 2017 in Washington, DC. The intelligence heads testified to …

More than 50 former intelligence officials, led by Obama-era Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, have signed an open letter alleging that the newly-released Hunter Biden emails are “Russian disinformation” — even if they are real.

Clapper, who helped push the conspiracy theory that there had been “collusion” between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and the Russian government, was joined by others — including former CIA Director John Brennan, who also promoted the Russia hoax.

Earlier this month, declassified documents suggested that Brennan had briefed then-President Barack Obama on a plan by Hillary Clinton’ campaign to accused Trump of close ties with Russia, in order to distract from her own scandals.

Politico broke the news of the letter Monday evening, giving it great importance: “More than 50 former senior intelligence officials have signed on to a letter outlining their belief that the recent disclosure of emails allegedly belonging to Joe Biden’s son “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

North Carolina governor caught on hot mic telling Joe Biden they’ll drag disgraced Senate candidate across the line

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper And Joe Biden Reportedly Heard Discussing Getting Cal Cunningham 'Across The Line' | The Daily Caller

The Democratic governor of North Carolina was caught on a hot microphone moment telling presidential candidate Joe Biden that they would drag a disgraced candidate across the line to keep a seat in the Democratic column.

Gov. Roy Cooper was meeting with Biden on the campaign trail when the comments were accidentally caught.

Cal Cunningham’s campaign to unseat Republican Sen. Thom Tillis was roiled when inappropriate texts between him and a Californian public relations strategist were published. Cunningham is married with two children.

Cooper promised Biden that they would drag him across the line in the election despite the “frustrating” scandal.

A Little Tuesday Morning Truth

The sad part of this story is that the FBI hid evidence that would have prevented the impeachment of the President and the anointment of Joe Biden’s candidacy. We know that good triumphs over evil. What we do not know is how long evil will be in charge.

It’s time to reach down and do that proverbial gut check. The fight is unavoidable at this point. Freedom must be fought for and defended.

A Little Truth for Today’s Much Needed Levity

Many Americans Are Now Planning To “Bug Out” Ahead Of Election Day As Authorities Brace For Chaos

Will you be safe where you currently are if the election results cause chaos to erupt in the streets of our major cities?  A lot of Americans are becoming deeply concerned about their personal safety as we approach November 3rd, because they can see what is coming.  It is going to take a lot of extra time to count all of the votes because tens of millions of Americans are voting by mail this time around, and both sides have recruited armies of lawyers and are prepared to contest the results of the election to the bitter end.  No matter who ends up being declared the winner when it is all over, there will be millions upon millions of very angry voters out there that are likely to feel as though the election was stolen from them, and that is a recipe for widespread societal unrest.

I truly wish that we could go back and do things differently so that we would not be facing this sort of scenario, but it is too late for that now.  More than 27 million Americans have already voted, and more are voting every day.  Any attempts to fix the process will have to wait for future elections, and without a doubt it definitely needs to be fixed.

I suppose the above information does not apply to those sapient Americans who recognized the demise of the nation and took steps earlier to move to a safe haven. Many of these people were labelled “preppers” as a sign of derision. Today, they are the smart ones who had hoped that they would be wrong but are not revelling in their foresight.

Where does that leave the people who are left to fend for themselves in a world without the rule of law? Ammunition and firearms are virtually unavailable. Food and safe housing have skyrocketed. They do not have any faith in the news or the government. Imagine living in such a world as the clock winds down to midnight into the fourth turning.

It does not matter how we got here since there is enough blame to spread around. I pray that the rebirth of a new beginning will be founded in faith, honor, morality and wisdom gained from lessons learned.

Updated Forecast from Deagel

Deagel, a real intelligence organization for the U.S. government, predicts massive global depopulation (50-80%) by 2025 — Steemit

In 2014 we published a disclaimer about the forecast. In six years the scenario has changed dramatically. This new disclaimer is meant to single out the situation from 2020 onwards. Taking about the United States and the European Union as separated entities no longer makes sense. Both are the Western block, keep printing money and will share the same fate.

After COVID we can draw two major conclusions:

  1. The Western world success model has been built over societies with no resilience that can barely withstand any hardship, even a low intensity one. It was assumed but we got the full confirmation beyond any doubt.
  2. The COVID crisis will be used to extend the life of this dying economic system through the so called Great Reset.

The Great Reset; like the climate change, extinction rebellion, planetary crisis, green revolution, shale oil (…) hoaxes promoted by the system; is another attempt to slow down dramatically the consumption of natural resources and therefore extend the lifetime of the current system. It can be effective for awhile but finally won’t address the bottom-line problem and will only delay the inevitable. The core ruling elites hope to stay in power which is in effect the only thing that really worries them.

The collapse of the Western financial system – and ultimately the Western civilization – has been the major driver in the forecast along with a confluence of crisis with a devastating outcome. As COVID has proven Western societies embracing multiculturalism and extreme liberalism are unable to deal with any real hardship. The Spanish flu one century ago represented the death of 40-50 million people. Today the world’s population is four times greater with air travel in full swing which is by definition a super spreader. The death casualties in today’s World would represent 160 to 200 million in relative terms but more likely 300-400 million taking into consideration the air travel factor that did not exist one century ago. So far, COVID death toll is roughly 1 million people. It is quite likely that the economic crisis due to the lockdowns will cause more deaths than the virus worldwide.

If there is not a dramatic change of course the world is going to witness the first nuclear war. The Western block collapse may come before, during or after the war. It does not matter. A nuclear war is a game with billions of casualties and the collapse plays in the hundreds of millions.

Remember: It Is Your Fault that We Attacked

The above warning was sent from a homeowner in Massachusetts. This is a great example of why our founding fathers did not want a Democracy to replace the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union. The Republic that they gave us was made to protect the rights of the people, even if they were a minority.

I have said that the Democrats will stab you in the back, twist the knife and then ask you to your face what is wrong. Democrats are a convenient label but the truth is that our government is the evil which we are facing. Trump put Sessions in charge of the DOJ, Wray in charge of the FBI and Haspel in charge of the CIA.

If we want to win this “civil war” that is being dropped in our laps, we must first recognize the enemy.
