All my preparation planning for long term SHTF survival considers my dog. I figured out how many cups of dry he eats per day and now have a nine month supply on hand. My 129 lb. Great Pyrenees is a livestock protection dog and he considers me a part of his herd. A good well trained dog can become a part of your early warning and defensive systems.

Petsmart in Raleigh had food but very little cat food. They were thin on quite a few products. The animals will have nothing and they will be happy says Karl Schwab! These bastards are starving out our pets!!!

I don’t know what goes back and forth across the Canadian/US border, but today was the day they banned unvaxxed truckers from crossing either way. I expect more shortages.

Read recently on the supply chain issues re. bulk foods stored for commercial (not for home consumption) processing nationwide that the pet food industry gets last dibs/short straw on getting bulk foods for use as pet foods….that makes sense that one would see shortages of pet food before human foods which will also be in short supply when the bulk foods run down….just my .02….redclay7
cats just need meat

This is probably best for the cats…Most commercial cat food is not sufficient for the long term health of the cat. It’s kind of like only feeding a child cereal for their entire life. They’ll survive, but not as long as they would if they got proper nutrition.
Cats are obligate carnivores and are metabolically designed to consume diets with the following general composition: 1) animal (not plant)-based protein (>50% calories)2) moderate fat (~20-40% calories)3) very low carbohydrate (1-2% calories)4) water-rich (~70%) ie: NO DRY FOOD, no need for veggies or fruit
They barbequed their cats long ago in Venezuela, people just needed meat. Actually neighbors “traded” their pets so as not to eat their own. Of course nothing like that could ever happen “Here” in the USSA!
Herr Klaus Schwab is right about one thing: there is definitely going to be a “Great Reset,” but it will not be what he envisions. In the “Great Reset” I see coming, Herr Schwab will own nothing, will have no power over others, and he will not be happy. That is because his sorry ass will forever be roasting in the eternal flames of hell. The “Great Reset” I’m talking about is The Triumphant Return of the “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” And “He will reign forever and ever.” Hallelujah!
Learn to make your own dog food. It is not hard, it does take some time. I purchase organic products from small organic non GMO farm growers. Since I make over half of my own dog food and purchase human grade from small growers that have formed co-ops, so far, I am doing well. I supplement with human grade fresh and some human grade dry. It will be the commercial dry garbage, which most people have been conditioned to feed, that will be hit first from the big pet food companies. Same for their canned. Your dogs will live longer and see the vet less. For years I had around 12 Borzois (giant breed) and made their food in huge batches. It is not too bad if you have only a couple of dogs. A big crock pot helps in preparing. But prepare now for what is coming.

“Welcome to Venezuela courtesy of the traitors who stole our country. Restoration of freedom is NOT sedition or insurrection: it is our Sacred Duty.” I agree 100%!
