Pure Evil: Judge says Ohio hospital cannot be forced to use ivermectin to treat Covid, reversing earlier decision

A judge ruled Monday that an Ohio hospital cannot be forced to give a patient ivermectin for Covid-19, reversing an earlier decision that ordered it to administer a parasite medication that has not been approved to treat the disease.

In an 11-page decision, Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Michael Oster Jr. wrote that there “was no doubt that the medical and scientific communities do not support the use of ivermectin as a treatment for Covid-19.”

Based on the current evidence, Oster wrote, the drug — which is primarily used to deworm horses but has been promoted by some doctorssome Republicans and the popular podcast host Joe Rogan to combat the coronavirus — “is not an effective treatment for Covid-19.”

Oster cited advisories from the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and medical associations that have warned against using the medication for Covid-19.

Oster also cited problems with research into using ivermectin to treat the disease, including the withdrawal of a non-peer-reviewed study from a website that posts academic pre-prints.

Julie Smith, the wife of the patient, Jeffrey Smith, had sued the hospital to force doctors to administer the medication.

“While this court is sympathetic to the plaintiff and understands the idea of wanting to do anything to help her loved one, public policy should not and does not support allowing physicians to try ‘any’ type of treatment on human beings,” he wrote.

Jeffrey Smith, 51, tested positive for the virus on July 9 and was admitted to West Chester Hospital nearly a week later, according to court documents. He was intubated on Aug. 1, and by Aug. 19 his chances of survival had dipped below 30 percent.

Let me correct this statement.
“Jeffrey Smith, 51, tested positive for the virus on July 9 and was admitted to West Chester Hospital nearly a week later, according to court documents. He was sentenced to death on Aug. 1, and by Aug. 19 his chances of survival had dipped below 30 percent and declining to the joy of the doctors.”

There not the truth be told.

I wonder if Judge Oster would think the same if he was the one in that hospital bed ? I think we all know that answer. This is beyond sickening.

The post is incorrect -- a Doctor prescribed Ivermectin, and they were told no by the hospital staff -- they won’t give this patient in their Hospital this treatment and the Judge simply said the Hospital cannot be forced to give this patient Ivermectin -- the answer is complicated by the patients current status -- the judge simply ruled as most people would agree -- the people currently responsible for him can’t be forced by anyone to give a drug -- my answer is simple -- leave the hospital this moment

During the number of times I’ve been in a hospital there were times when someone came in with a paper asking if I would like to participate in trying out a new and unapproved treatment. And, of course, you would be required to sign your life away if something went wrong. Be a guinea pig in other words. So now, the government wants you to be a guinea pig; but the doctor isn’t allowed to ask if you want to be a guinea pig by using ivermectin. Yup, the want us dead. Period. Worst part is that someone in a position to be judgmental doesn’t have the mental capacity to weigh all the information preferring instead to take the word of a select few known to be contradictory and wrong. Yup, they want us dead.
