My suspicion has always been the Guard is a ‘stopgap’ measure until they can line up a “Security Contractor” big enough to Staff and Operate a “Green Zone” with Mercenaries, i.e. Roman Praetorian Guard.
NOTHING marks an Illegitimate Regime more than the use of Troops around the Capitol City.
Don’t Forget, This marks the Troops as Enemies of the People JUST BY THEIR PARTICIPATION. Treat them like Dirt if you encounter Any of them, Anywhere. Remind them what the Helmland Province Irregular Militia does to them, and ask if they want White People to ‘one up’ That.
I believe that the “storming of the Capitol” was initiated by ANTIFA or other communist/marxist groups. Unfortunately, the Trump supporters that were there succumbed to mob mentality and followed the leaders. For conservative Americans to actually take up arms, I believe it will take a “black swan” event which has not yet happened. A couple thousand troops around the Capitol is just a show of force, intended to frighten the people and make the Senators and Representatives feel safe. I hope we don’t decend into civil war. Asymmetrical warfare in a country the size of America would be brutal.
