We are so concerned about the enslavement of our people by the government that we forget the joy of helping our neighbors. Imagine the possibilities of living as our grandparents did. Imagine appreciating the blessings of our Lord.

The government on every level is stripping everything from every person, so that we cannot help each other. Also the entitlement and learned helplessness has ruined the American population to a large extent.
A great story. I don’t know enough about her, so I would hesitate to call her a liberal (but most evidence says she was), but the problem with liberals is that THEY would have no problem STEALING from everyone else around them to help the father, rather than giving of themselves. Charity can ONLY be voluntary. Anything else is THEFT…regardless of the intent. Sadly too many of these Hollywood types end up with SO MUCH MONEY that they vote to support STEALING FROM EVERYONE to assuage their own guilt over their good fortunes or because they think that EVERYONE can afford to give as they can (or should be forced to anyway).
Beautiful story, thank you for sharing.
