Any reasonable investigation into how we got so far from the Constitution so fast has to come back to one incredibly simple answer: the media.
Sure, politicians seek to undermine the Constitution, because it’s the only thing that limits or attempts to limit their power. They have always sought to undermine its authority. That’s why Chief Justice Marshall devised a role for the Supreme Court to rule on Constitutionality. Or, he was just a power-hungry megalomaniac, maybe both. By then, 1801, the politicians had already sought to worm their way around the limitations and Marshall saw in Marbury v Madison the opportunity to insert the Supreme Court as an arbiter of Constitutionality. I maintain, and always have, that Marshall lacked jurisdiction and he admitted in his memoirs that he took the case with the purpose of devising a role for the Supreme Court.
But that’s not what has led us to this place in our history. This sort of political wrangling has gone on since the beginning. The fuel to the fire is a media that willingly and enthusiastically turns a blind eye to the truth, working harder to defend liberal/communist ideals than seeking out stories of interest to the people, on behalf of the people. The only purpose of a “free press” is to criticize government, attend meetings only a few ordinary people could or would attend and inform millions about the meeting. Who needs a “free press” if it’s always going to take the side of one political party?
We are this far down the evil path, because conservatives view the media with skepticism and refuse to back it with their finances. It’s a case of having too strong a faith in the American people’s ability to see through lies, or a belief that their funds are better spent on bullets and food. To an extent, it’s true, ammo up, rifle up, put continuing to pile onto that arsenal as a means of conservative virtue signaling will not give one the chance or opportunity to use any of it in their actual defense.
There are several scenarios people suggest for the coming conflagration. All of them are valid to a degree and all of them are fallacious to a degree. Based on recent resistance to something as solidly unconstitutional like shutting down businesses, churches and insistence on masking and distancing requirements only proves that when it comes down to it, most people fold.
It’s easier to go along. This is not a critique, but if it isn’t taken into consideration, it’s one half of the battlefield left uninvestigated, unrecognized. So, what is likely to happen, at least to a certain degree, is that the feds will confiscate most of the rounds being purchased today. It’ll go into their arsenal, not ours. The arsenals become an extravagant gift to the feds.
I don’t want to be a spoil-sport; however, it seems to me that viewing a film is a lot like being glued to your cell phone or reading the web. The activists of the 70s and today were/are out in force doing their damnedest to change everything with violence while being backed financially, politically and by the media. There is no alternative to that other than equal and opposite response; except that it would not have the same logistic support as the opposition. Unless you can target the organizations and personnel responsible for our demise there is no hope for a solution.
Eddie,
This “either/or” thinking plays into the planning of the Legacy “Powers that were.”
“Pillar or Post.”
“Democrat or Republican.”
“Black or White.”
People have been induced to invest so much of their self-worth and self-identity into choosing a “side,” which plays into the hands of “those who would own us.”
Or, as another author suggested, “the ones who are shaking the jar.”
The long and short of it is, they have been caught committing the biggest fraud in several thousand years, perhaps ever. Stolen everything in sight, run up the credit cards, and are now trying to get the fuse lit that will destroy the evidence and create a conflagration. Then, after a few decades, reboot their criminal enterprise in China, and repeat the same scam they have gotten away with for the last 3000 years.
The solution is to think at 90 degrees from this “linear dialectic.”
Everyone has been so focused on the notion that “the Constitution” has been destroyed over the past 150 years that they never once considered the possibility that they themselves were subverted.
The “Public Fool System,” which, contrary to popular thought, has not “failed,” but succeeded wildly, gradually removed “American” history from the curriculum, and replaced it with “U.S. history” (which is another thing entirely).
Our kids are forced to “pledge” themselves to the British monarch (“saluting” the Title IV military flag we lent to the British Territorials in the exercise of their enumerated delegated authorities on the High Seas and Navigable Inland Waterways). We are not “a Republic,” nor are we “one nation!” We are 50 separate nations, each with a guarantee of a “Republican Form of Government.”
The “Flag Salute” is for our Tory employees that are here to serve us.
Oh, and there are three Constitutions. Each subcontractor has their own “Debt Agreement/Charter:
The Constitution for the united States of America (ratified 1787) “Federal Republic/Confederation Subcontractor” (defunct due to mercenary “Civil War” circa 1861)
The Constitution of the United States of America (ratified 1789) British Territorial Subcontractor
The Constitution of the United States (ratified 1790) Roman Municipal Subcontractor
If people are so ignorant of their own history, how can they effectively defend themselves against the usurpations that have taken place in the past 15 decades? Voting?
Let’s look at “voting.”
“Vote” is derived from the French “voter,” which means “wish, swear, or -pledge-.” Since “pledge” is a synonym for “donate,” it should be clear what “registering your vote” actually means.
You have donated your proxy to those who would “re-present” you. Yes, they “re-present” you as incompetents. You have surrendered your proxy, given your consent, and they will do as they please. You “vote” once, and only once- at the time you “register” (which also means “King’s land,” another way of saying to donate).
So, voting does not (and could not) work to change things. And as we have seen in 2020, they will do whatever they feel like, since you consented to it by “donating your proxy.”
The alternative, that people seem to have forgotten about, is to self-govern. Our subcontractors wield authority that is delegated. This is irrefutable. But delegated from whom?
Americans, obviously. But since the concerted effort to de-populate America has been taking place via semantic deceit, fraud, and unlawful conversion of babies in their cradles over the past 150 years, it was “presumed” that the Americans had disappeared. And so we almost had.
But we are back. All 50 State Assemblies are in-session, and we are getting things sorted out after 150 years. Our subcontractors have reluctantly acknowledged our presence and legitimacy (and why would they be happy? We spoiled their well-laid and patient attempt to steal our Country at the 11th hour), and we are wielding all the delegated authorities ourselves (after all, we mowed our own lawns just fine between 1776 and 1787, and we can do it again).
We are also doing our utmost to provide disclosure to all the hoodwinked Americans that had no idea that “U.S. Citizen/citizen of the United States” is in fact a foreign, second- and third-class status that deprives them of any of their natural and unalienable rights.
So, solution is available. People are free to make the choice: American, and free, or “U.S. Citizen/citizen of the United States” and slave?
