I don’t trust Elon Musk on this third-party idea, especially knowing how anti 2A he is. I’m also convinced he doesn’t understand the idea of free speech.
If you want to support a third party, why not support one that supports the Constitution 100%? The Constitution Party.

And nothing will change. In fact, may just get worse. Good luck with the “party” system. Its not American, its British.

Elon has money, but he holds some troubling views as far as 2A, and transhumanism, among other things. He talks the talk sometimes, but I don’t trust him. He is also impulsive, quick to lose focus and get angry when things don’t go exactly the way he wanted, and lash out at (former) allies when the working relationship sours. In short, he’s not a guy who I either want or trust to be intimately involved in politics.

He is correct to be pissed about the way his efforts at DOGE were ultimately made into a big joke, and is also spot on that we are bankrupt due to the unrestrained profligacy of the two existing major parties. But I don’t think he has the long term follow through to commit to a third party project, nor that a third party can – or ever will – fix anything.

Everybody should be pissed how DOGE was made into a joke.

Oh, I’m absolute agreement. Don’t mistake my criticism of Elon’s shortcomings as approval of how Trump has handled things after he gave Elon the big kiss off. The big bust-the-economy bill is garbage, and will further accelerate our collapse.

Personally, I think that Big Beautiful Bill is a joke. Democrat or Republic or America Party, we are still getting screwed by a criminally corrupt federal government.
Time for a second revolution but the vast majority don’t have the guts for that.

Agree on all points. The notion of a third party to dislodge the present intractable system is nothing more than grasping at straws for a “comfortable” solution, so as to try and continue avoiding the ugly and unpleasant solution (that I see as inevitable). The hard way is not to be wished for, but it is coming regardless. We have simply gone to far down the road to ruin to have any hope of a soft landing now.

Simple demographics proves that statement, let alone all the other rot in the system…Pain seems to be the only lesson people understand and sometimes it kills you in the process…We have examples abounding in our sphere these days and yet everyone continues to think it won’t affect them in some way…Sad That…

So you all are happy with the current uniparty. You like the corruption, murder of innocents, by bombs kissed and signed by the people you elected, and those bombs are sent in your name. You like the forced vaccines by the GOP who pushed it for big pharma, you like the dems who want to murder and call it healthcare for women when it’s an abortion. You like the GOP who wants to send your children to war for profit but they won’t send theirs.
That’s ok, don’t even try, just complain and hope that you can somehow change things. It’s all about money, Musk has it, it’s the only choice. At least it will scare the heck out of the GOP. And Musk may get others to help. Even if we don’t win, at least we tried.
Trump, is shackled with a GOP House and senate and he still has not done anything for me. Same as his first term, surrounded by neocons and phonies.

Remember what happened when Ross Perot and his “third party” ran. Bush Sr. lost and we were inflicted with Slick Willie the Arkansas Rapist. Same thing will happen again. A third party will split the conservative vote guaranteeing massive wins for the left…and the end of freedom.

That’s amazing a South African who was not born here telling us how wants to change our two party system. Anyone else but him, Don’t forget who this guy is, a technocrat who wants to put a nuero net implant in all our brains, he can go screw himself. He calls twitter x because it defines darkness :

This is absolutely a concern. Elon has money and influence. He also has some very troubling ideas on the future of humanity, and I don’t want his vision in that regard realized. Which is to say that while I appreciate him hammering on the need for fiscal restraint, he isn’t necessarily a solid ally, and may go off in directions I don’t want if he becomes heavily enmeshed in politics.

Only done out of selfishness so more money can be thrown his way…The only people that are out for the little guy have no power and if they speak up they get hammered down by everyone…

An American Party would draw 99% of its’ members from the conservatives in this country. The leftists will not join it. This would lead to the Democrats winning virtually all of the elections. The Republicans need to act like conservatives, pass the laws they campaigned on and the Democrats will dwindle away.

Dam after reading and rereading the folks below, I’m scratching my head, is it more of the same You all want? Once again the answers are predictable. Really great at pointing out the problems, not one solutions offered.

So until term limits are in place,, until lobbyists are sent packing,,, until our tax dollars are accounted for especially at the Pentagon, and Intel agency’s.

I’m at least willing to here Musk out, cost nothing, and I like the idea that The Machine “ Rep/Dem will possibly be put in check by a 3rd party, hopefully We The People again have a voice in our future.

We got no one to blame but ourselves for the shit show we call Govt. Wouldn’t it be wise to at least to have a listen?

I’m amused at the Musk is South African spin! I’m reasonably sure our forefathers people were from another country as well. Hard to say anymore,

This I know.

Yes, my friend. Our history is a lie. And the lie started with The Constitutional Convention and was cemented with Marbury v. Madison. It has been downhill ever since.

WORD. I would urge everyone here to read HOPE OF THE WICKED by Ted Flynn, and BROTHERHOOD OF DARKNESS by Dr. Stanley Montieth. Both works are documented and footnoted. The corruption started many, many years ago.

And look at how many on our side say how high when they say jump…Come on People seriously, you really think things are going to be changed by voting in someone new on a national level… Everyone is grasping at straws trying to take the easy way out which only leads to more disappointments and more pain… Shaking my head right now at our side being so easily fooled…

Imagine a government 5% as large or as powerful as the one we currently have. One that HONORS the limits imposed by the Constitution, does not steal income, does not control medicine, does not control food, does not control families, maintains a sound and honest currency without a central bank (you know…the way this country STARTED). Just imagine of how much terror or concern everyone would have at each election with a government that weak? Hey, maybe that was the plan of the Founding Fathers all along???
