UPDATE: I closed comments on this post as I got the information that I had hoped to gather. For those who cannot see that we are in a civil war and what is at stake, let your chains rest heavy on your shoulders.
I received the following comment which I did not approve.
Two from Denninger that explains why wearing masks don’t work using math and logic. I’m sure [name] will not be able to follow the logic since his female histrionics are in overdrive.
The name above was not mine but I did not post the comment for several reassons:
- Personal attacks. If you have to swear or attack someone to make your point, it is because your point is invalid.
- I read the two Denninger articles listed. The first did not address masks but the new theory that the virus is more prevalent in the population (by a factor of 10 in his post). The second article started with the following statement:
There is zero science that the use of masks by the ordinary, unskilled and inattentive public does anything to protect anyone, and there is plenty of evidence that their abusive misuse, which is what an unskilled or inattentive person will do, increases rather than decreases risk because they, whether a “formal mask” or a bandana, concentrates everything that passes through or around it and if you make contact with your hands, which you do any time you “adjust” it, don or doff it, then touch any other person or thing, you transfer dozens or even hundreds of times as much concentrated contamination, including whatever virus particles are included, to that other person or thing.
False. I posted a peer reviewed article detailing how masks are effective. His opinion is invalid.
3. The countries where people wore masks had a significant reduction of COVID-19 cases worldwide.
4. I could design an experiment based on the hypothesis that masks are ineffective and prove it. I would use cloth masks that were not fitted in an air conditioned environment in a hospital setting. I also would make the participants wear the same mask for an extended period of time.
5. Our medical experts told us that masks were ineffective at the beginning of this “exercise”. Dr. Fauci recently admitted that they lied because our national stockpiles were needed for the medical community. There is no logic that masks magically work for medical staff but not regular people.
If you wear a mask, you harm no one. The proper mask with minor training will at worst case, reduce the inoculum size to allow your body more time to build antibodies to the viral S proteins.
So why is this one of the issues that I titled why we are losing? It is simple: we have allowed the other side to manipulate us using a non-issue. This is one of their techniques which successfully divides us. Do I wear a mask? Of course. When I go out shopping which is less than 30 minutes a week on average. What do I do the rest of the time? I prepare for the civil war which has already started.
For the rest of you who allow yourselves to be marginalized, I sure wish you would do something to edify our side instead of collaborating with the enemy.

I appreciate this site, and the posters who provide valuable intel and info. I came across a video this morning of Ohio Rep Nino Vitale testing 3 different masks and the O2 percentage they allow. OSHA guidelines for O2 say anything less than 19.5% is dangerous, normal atmosphere is 20.9%.
The N95 mask failed at 18.1%, standard surgical mask failed at 17.6%, and the thin over the counter mask failed at 17.0%.
Virus aside, wearing any one of these masks for a prolonged period will cause issues with your health.
I did not want to weigh in on the mask issue at all, it is highly contentious at the moment, but I also believe in having all the available pro/con data accessible so everyone can make an informed decision.
Send me the link. I don’t understand how a surgical mask let in less oxygen that an N95 mask. This also goes against the logic that the masks allow complete penetration of the virus because the pore/hole size is too large. Using that logic, oxygen flow should have no restrictions.

I have two issues to start: one is the source and the second is there is no link to the other side’s repudiation of the information. While I can see the concentration of CO2 being higher with a mask, I have to ask how a surgeon is able to perform multiple hours of surgery without passing out.
Thats fair. I would respond by saying why throw the baby(video) out with the bathwater(infowars)? I’m no AJ fan, all he does is get people riled up. The congressman posted the video and infowars linked it, thats as far as I support them.
Another note on the video. In order to get the sensor up inside the mask you have to create an air gap, which should increase the available O2 present to compare against, yet, even with an obvious air gap, the sensor alarmed.
I was thinking that when you exhale CO2, it set off the sensor even though the concentration level was replaced when you inhaled oxygen. Again the surgical mask should have a higher O2 level than an N95 with a respirator.

I personally have believed from the beginning, that the Wearing of Masks for the so called protection from the Corona Virus is a Scam. It is in my opinion, nothing more than Fear Porn Propaganda. The entire thing is about control. If the virus was so dangerous, we should all be dead. Breathing the same air with a Mask on is like using the same Toothbrush over and over, and never using a new one. The result is Strep Throat and the Flu. A human must be able to breath in thru the nose and exhale from the mouth. It is common sense. Not this nonsense. If politicians will allow rioters to burn and loot and do nothing about it, then I refuse to wear a stupid Mask.
You have the right to your opinion. But the logic you presented is not based on science.

Me personally, I have not had a had a Flu Vaccine shot for over 40 Years, and I have never been sick from the Flu. Everyone told me that I was crazy because what I believed was not based on Science, Yet I never get sick. It comes down the Immune System. 80% Alkalinity and 20% Acid in the Blood. If a person’s body gets to Acid, they will get sick. Vaccines are a myth and are dangerous. There are tons of books on the dangers of Vaccines that are backed by Science.
One of the first lectures in my medical microbiology course outlined why we should never get a flu vaccine. I have never had a flu vaccine and based on how the governments have weaponized viral pandemics, I do not see any reason to change. In the case of COVID-19, look up cytokine storm to see the drawbacks of a protein based vaccine.
The specific argument here is of less importance than the general principle. People on our side tend to spend more time squabbling and fighting with each other than we do focusing on the actual enemy. I assume most websites like this one are infected with anonymous posters who are actually Marxists stirring the pot. When we fight with each other over secondary issues, we aren’t focused on what is happening at the higher levels and that is by design.

Hi David. I respectfully disagree with you on the mask issue. I find it strange that there’s a mural in the Denver airport that was painted in 1994 that pictured children from around the world all wearing a face mask? Hmmm…. It looks like they’ve been planning on “muzzling” us for a long time now and this is one of the ways they’re getting that done.
As someone with a breathing issue, wearing a mask is tough. I would not go out if I didn’t feel well and have lived by that most of my life. I believe in being cautious but I know Jesus does not want us to live in fear. I believe limiting oxygen and breathing in carbon dioxide instead is not good for us on a long-term basis and many doctors agree. We were built to exhale the toxins, not breathe them right back in. Short-term use is ok, but they were not created to be worn all day, every day, indoors and outside in the heat.
They came out telling us that asymptomatic spread is “very rare” and then the uproar forced that doctor (WHO I believe) to somewhat walk it back. What’s the truth?
The NC DHHS site tells us there are very few deaths from this virus outside of nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and prisons. The numbers are updated 2x/week. Based on yesterday morning’s numbers, 373 deaths were from the general public out of the 1290 total NC deaths. That means 71% of the deaths in this state are in congregant living sites. Does this warrant more shutdowns, mandates, keeping certain businesses from opening up and earning a living, etc…?
We’re told we’re at 10% positives on testing. Yet the same NC DHHS site tells us that they require positive test results to be reported but reporting negative results is not required? So much for wanting accuracy. Knowing that pretty much tells me we’re lower than whatever figure they give us. (Someone said we’re under 5% yesterday, but I don’t remember the source.)
IMHO, the mask mandate has nothing to do with keeping anyone safe. The main goal is to keep us apart, unable to communicate as effectively as we can when we can see facial expressions and understand each other better, when we can hug or shake hands, etc… I believe keeping the “state of emergency” going until election day is the main goal as they want nothing better than to implement “mail-in voting” with almost 1,000,000 invalid voters still on the roles. Judicial Watch has sued NC to clean up its voter roles, but I have no faith that it will happen prior to November.
Recommending masks is fine. Allowing everyone to make their own decisions is great. Making them mandatory just sets those with health issues up for being bullied when they need to go out but can’t wear a mask. Some of our sheriffs have said it’s a violation of our constitutional rights -- I agree with them. This all being said, I’m not trying to be arrogant about this. I have ordered a face shield to see if it allows me to breathe better than a mask. But I don’t believe anyone has the right to issue a “mandate”.
See, we can agree to disagree. The point to the article is that wearing a mask or not (with the exception of people with breathing problems) hurts no one. So why is it an issue used to divide us? Unless we let them divide us.
