Consider the following information from two weeks ago:
THE NATIONAL DEBT IS NOW MORE THAN $32 TRILLION. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
June 16, 2023
America’s high and rising debt matters because it threatens our economic future. The coronavirus pandemic rapidly accelerated our fiscal challenges, but we were already on an unsustainable path, with structural drivers that existed long before the pandemic. Putting our nation on a better fiscal path will help ensure a stronger and more resilient economy for the future.

I recommend reading the entire article above for additional facts to put this amount of debt into perspective. What has happened to the debt in the two weeks following the capitulation of the McCarthy led Republicans? The debt now is $32.272 trillion. At this rate, the debt will increase more than $6 trillion in the next twelve months.
What can the average person who pays taxes without any representation do to fight this evil? Go Galt. I understand that this route will require hardship: it is a route that I have personally taken which has reduced my business profit to effectively zero (and may even be operating at a loss). When Duke Energy put their boot on my throat, we decided not to even bid on the new service contract. Why would a company require a payment rate of a vendor which would not increase in 3 (or 5 years if desired) with net 90 days payment? I suppose they did not consider that we would decline their boot in favor of the fresh air of Liberty.
I also declined their offer to train our replacement through the end of the year after 38 years of service. Surprisingly, their contract’s team did not understand that I developed their CAD system and standards. They also did not realize that the system was never documented.
My family was able to Go Galt for two reasons:
- We have been preparing for the economic collapse for 25 years. This means buying land, building a community center, workshop, cabin and house to get rid of fiat currency and help people build a better future. We hope to have the new building and sawmill operational by October. We are able to offer free spring water to our community: averaging 2 gallons per minute. The ability to be debt free requires hard work, personal sacrifice and a commitment to trust in the Lord with all of our heart.
- We believe in the Lord and His wisdom. This includes our God given natural law rights. No illegitimate government or company will ever take away or limit our Liberty. Until you commit to the Lord and His path, you and your family will be under the thumb of evil in this country until it is overthrown. If you are not fighting evil, you are giving evil your approval.
Until you go Galt, you will always be working and supporting an evil government which knows there is no way to stop the train even though the quickly approaching bridge has been destroyed. They know it and they will not give us the slightest consideration as they destroy our country, children, economy and religion.

We cannot recover from this amount of debt, the delusional regime will not stop.
As far as I can tell, this “debt” is just a way to shovel money at the banksters. And that’s all it is. It was never meant to be repaid. And it can be changed any time, provided the gov chooses.
If I go in debt to the local mafia, because of their extortion, and pay them more and more in interest, does it mean the debt is valid?
Went Galt slowly then suddenly myself. Refused the unconstitutional draconian licensing and registration requirements in my old state and “kept” my arms outside the system there for 30 years. With the steady progress of the progressive regimes and the big wake up calls in 2020 with the kungflu/lockdowns/riots/stolen election, I pulled the trigger on purchasing my war farm in a heritage rural area and started moving my arms and possessions there. I started cashing in my tax sheltered retirement accounts that year and took the tax and penalty hit with the mindset that they intend to steal it all anyway, so I might as well get it out and spend my life savings now. I paid cash for the war farm and I am debt free. At this time I have all of my old retirement funds cashed out and mostly spent with a good amount of what remains put into PM coinage. The deathvaxx mandates affected my profession, so I resigned and moved to the war farm full time in 2021. No regrets. I can buy guns and ammo and bear them in public without any problem at all in my new state. I work my land full time and have 3 seasons of experience now growing food. Other preps continue. Like everyone else , I am waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I know I have put myself into the best position possible for the big event.
Follow his foot steps and move to a state where you can be free and survive the NWO!
Awesome!!!!!!! I’m on season one growing food.
In 2020, I started the process of moving from a highly toxic and fast developing, supply chain dependent “S Floride Mega-Region,” to the foothills of Appalachia where I get to help stop the “Piedmont Mega-Region” from being built:)). [Source: RPA.org]
I built go bags in Florida and now I have gone to where I was going to go with them:)))))
Check out the Free State Project in NH. I want to start one – or help someone who already is – create the Free State of North Carolina.

Please share about the woodmill. Ive recently acquired a brand new Woodmizer LT-15 Wide. Live on 16 acres of forestry land that has several “sheds” built from Alaskan Chainsaw Mills. Thanks for all you do.
I ordered the same woodmizer with a diesel engine. Waiting for delivery.
done here too
Good to hear.
Thanks again, David for all your insightful articles and the opportunity to spread my drivel.
I started prepping fifty years ago with my east German refugee wife, we were concerned about nuclear war! While then the USSR were the bad guys, I now fear we are!
I read Atlas shrugged about forty years ago and worked on going Galt till about twelve years ago, when I went Galt. I am on SS but, free and clear and still prepping, but can be self sufficient. You can do it too!
History repeats its self, because people don’t really change, they go collectively nuts from time to time, but don’t really change. Reading the classics or the bible will show this to be true! While Atlas Shrugged is dated, people are still the same; it is a good blue print for tomorrow, if we can avoid nuclear war. Read it if you haven’t!
Greetings and blessings to all who follow this wonderful site.
I am seeking feedback about various “next step” possible relocation regions. Own my home in a central corridor of Texas that is attracting way too many people. So tempting to pull up stakes and head for a couple of acres in Montana, South Dakota, or similarly low-population, off-grid region. However, it’s difficult at age 74 to imagine growing my own food, finding trustworthy help and network, etc. in a much more isolated area with harsh winters. My daughter, son-in-law, and three grandsons live just 30 minutes from me now. Barring a miracle, will probably be unable to get them to Go Galt with me.
These decisions are huge. Maybe others are also locked in procrastination about all this, despite the storm clouds growing every day over our nation….?
Any recommendations are much appreciated.
In Christ alone we place our trust.
I was led by the Lord to come to WNC. I am not alone. The North Georgia mountains are in our area of operations. Growing food is hard work for older people. Raised beds help as well as farmers’ markets. Buy food in season for canning or freeze drying is a great option for now. Pray for guidance and your path will open.
Are you following Ben Davidson and the Suspicious Observers YT channel?
I’m going farther into the mountains, but I am going to be looking for properties with caves on them.
Not so much for me, but fror the kids who are helping me create the community garden and the foundation and who will control the their trusts when I am gone.
Yes. You want to be at least 2000 feet above sea level, IN THE MOUNTAINS, and not on the west coast. Appalachia is perfect, but so is the eastern flank of the rockies. Below 2000 feet you better have a boat as your backup plan.
English Teacher you alone know how survivable your current location is.
If you have the rule of threes well covered (especially Safe Water) AND have trusted friends and family nearby I’d think hard about staying right where you are.
You might want to do a bicycle ride around the area to look, listen and feel about your area. I learn a LOT doing so. Seems few folks notice a bicyclist vs a looking around walker.
Know your troublemakers. Know your neighbors. You’d NOT know much about any new location. Indeed, you’d likely be thought of as a newcomer and probable troublemaker. You’d not have trusted friends nor family.
There is no place completely free of troublemakers as “rich liberals” are quite busy buying cheap ranches all across the western states.
Pray for wisdom, God will provide as He did all your life, friend.
A Constitutional Sheriff should probably be the 4th survival characteristic.
I’m still educating local LE officers directly through information packets. I give them out when I find them on the road, in parking lots, etc. But after two years, the bosses – the municipal police chief’s and county sheriffs – still do not really want to interact. There are never any follow-up calls, or thank yous, after they get stuff from me.
I know if I show up at their offices for an appointment, they wil be welcoming… but no one has ever contacted me afterwards about the packets or the information they contain.
By now the local patrol officers have mostly heard about me through others… so when I pull up next to one of them, I sometimes see a spark of recognition, and then an expression like, “…I guess it’s my turn.:)))” And they are always really nice.
The perhaps mythical “Constitutional Sheriff”.
Let’s get real here. While they speak well of doing this and doing that unless YOU’RE paying for his salary, he’s NOT Your Sherriff.
That Sherriff likely has a family, mine is even a Grandfather and somewhat responsible for his grandkids also.
Who is paying for his salary? Who is paying for his retirement? His AND His Families Healthcare?
During the Great Depression guess who was protecting the Bankers on the courthouse steps buying YOUR Farm for pennies on the dollar for taxes or debts?
The Sherriff. Guess who will be doing it again?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very good idea to be known and thought well by the local Sherriff and police.
I am doing well in that respect with many interactions at school board meetings. The mini tyrants of the School Board don’t even call the police when I show up with PowerPoints and friends about their actions. The Elks managed to get the drag queen library hour canceled in a peaceful manner. Several books removed from the school library.
My Sherriff is a good fellow, we hunt together, and I hope that he will turn a blind eye when things get weird.
But I’m not betting my family on it.
I am seventy four as well and moved to the Ozarks, fifty years ago, I love it, lots of freedom, few people, good neighbors and a mild climate. I suspect any of the central mountains east and west as long as you stay away from cities would be great! Be sure not to be down wind from any military targets!!
Remember the rule of three, having water on your land is paramount, and a way to get it to your house with out the grid is important. Working a garden Is tough stuff, we have no kids around to help! Relocating to a country area from Dallas area should give you lots of money to get started. Be sure to get a tractor with a front loader!!
Good luck!
I posted a lengthy comment a few hours ago. Is it still being evaluated for posting? Would love feedback about my questions. Thank you.
I’m 68. My Grampa had a 13 stool snack bar/ burger stand in the foyer of a grocery store. He prospered. Added a bedroom, gutters, built a nice two car garage, upgraded vehicles, built a shed, got horses, and saved up and bought a store/gas station,/ feed store between Houston and Humble.
I’ll take
Shit that is no longer POSSIBLE for a million, Alex.
They have stolen our prosperity.
Sry, he moved up to the store when I was about 9, so,62,63,,ish..
Solari.com’s network of accountants and attorneys have verified that $21 Trillion has been stolen by the deep state through the Dept of Defense and the not so “Federal” Reserve. Read “Follow the Missing Money Volume 1 & 2” available at Solari.com. Their publications are amazing.
The debt was created by this theft. We the people do not owe ANYTHING. Our government has been financially gutted for decades while congress sat there and did nothing. The minimum wage was not increased with inflation eiither.
It’s all part of their strategy to impoverish us – and make us think we are somehow responsible for it.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEDERAL DEBT. The Rothschilds, et al., could return the money they’ve stolen tomorrow and erase the debt of every country on the planet and still be the wealthiest family on Earth.
We have to stop torturing ourselves over the “national debt” that OUR decisions did NOT create. The US Congress, and the rest of our globalist- controlled, warmongering for profit, federal government, has allowed the theft to continue – decade after decade… until the music is now finally stopping.
Spot on,
Going Galt has many different levels and meanings. Just watching for the event to drop off completely, its coming
Yes, it’s hard. At first. Nothing easy is worth having. What can you live without? Cable TV? $100 per month. Verizon? $100 per month. Dinner out three times a week? $600 per month. That fancy new car? Really? $800 per month. AC at 70F? Additional $200 per month (buy a damn fan). How about your credit cards? Average credit card monthly payment is $233. Let’s round down to $200, because if you are reading this you are smarter than the average American. So far I’ve added up $1800 per month. About right? That’s $21,600 per year. You need to earn about $30,000 to pay that (taxes). What else? $3500 per month mortgage? Are you insane? Okay, maybe only $2000 per month. Whatever.
Get rid of all that crap and suddenly you don’t need to work all those hours to “pay your fair share”.
“But I’m in my 30’s, I HAVE to have all these things because I have kids, and can’t pay cash for a place to live, and excuses.” Grow the hell up. Figure it out. Sit down with a piece of paper and a #2 pencil, and a calculator if you must. My power bill is $125 per month. I have no cell phone, or pay tv, or credit cards, car payments, or mortgage, and I DON’T go out to eat. Know what? I live damn well, and, for the first time in my life, am actually excited about waking up in the morning and living life.
Go Galt. Figure it out. EVERYONE can do it. Whether you choose to or not says a lot about you and your priorities.
