A few more days of exercising the infrequently used House procedures to get to a point of consensus within the GOP on a House speaker is not a dire mistake, it’s the way the process is supposed to work. The Dems are all united around the them of getting their backhanders, the GOP is divided because some of the GOP still want to do what’s good for Americans while others are In the Dem camp.
