He is right on target with this simple verse in the scripture which we have all read many times over and he is right. God did not come to bring peace but a sword and division against the wicked people.
In Judaism there are end-times prophecies. The one I know, because my friend told me last time we were in Israel, is that the Mosaiach is coming soon when the land turns green. And it is turning green with agriculture.
On a business trip some years ago I ended up sitting next to a Muslim (changed planes in Detroit – Arab central!). I wear a kippa and was in traditional robes; friendly but I was not what I call comfortable. Anyway, he told me that in Islam the end times are close when Mecca turns green. And it’s turning green. I’ll take his word for it.
A pagan friend in the UK told me some of those end-time predictions, which they say are coming true. There’s an alleged Hopi prophecy that cobwebs in the sky are one sign of the coming end; chemtrails anyone?
And, of course, I think an open-minded reading of Revelations had “end times” signals all over it.
Interesting how multiple end times prophecies, from disparate religions, all seem to be pointing in that direction.
I will be honest. I almost passed this one up. The trend now is “look at this negro he’s on our side!” Yay yay rah rah, keep letting mossad blackmail our politicians !

This resonated with me because I have been telling any who would listen that the abomination known as the Democrat Party are through and through evil, their policies are evil, their tactics are evil and their denial of God ends the discussion.
