Short and Sweet

While the article is fairly long, I strongly encourage everyone to read it in its entirety. This is the first step in our brave new world.

Brandon Smith: No, We Are Not “All In This Together”…

A common phrase I have heard lately all around the internet as well as all around the area I live whenever the pandemic situation is broached is that “We are all in this together, and WE will get through this together….” The sentiment is repeated like a religious mantra and I believe it is rooted in a collectivist reaction in the minds of many. The idea is that if we all comfort each other by repeating the lie that we’re all in the same boat, and if everyone believes it, then the threat of the outbreak along with the economic collapse will somehow simply “disappear”.
The notion that “we are going to get through this together” seems to be based in the assumption that the crisis is going to move quickly, and if we hold tight, our sacrifice will be minimal and all will go back to the way things were before. This is simply not so.
I highly respect the ideal of giving hope to others whenever possible (as Aragorn says in Return Of The King “I give hope to men. I keep none for myself”). However, hope has to come from a legitimate place. It has to be based in some reality. There are too many lies driving public psychology right now to give concrete hope to anyone. The lies have to land, they have to touch ground, and the facts have to hit people hard before we can then come to an understanding of what we have to do to survive this event. In the meantime, the majority of people are going to be trapped in fantasy land, hypnotized by delusions of magical cures and economic silver bullets that will lead to salvation “in just two more weeks”.
On top of all that, the American public has never been more divided than it is right now. Sure, we can soak in a bathtub of brain-dead dreams with worn-out elitist celebrities like Madonna, telling us that the virus “makes us all equal”, but does it really? I’m sorry, but the truth that not all people are equal is about to become more apparent than ever before.
The pandemic along with the economic collapse is going to separate people into clearly definable categories, and many of these groups will be in direct conflict with each other:
The Prepared
These are the people that saw this event coming ahead of time and spent many months if not many years stocking supplies and training to survive it. The Prepared were smarter and had more insight into the reality of the situation than most people. If we were to apply evolutionary standards then The Prepared would be at the top of the food chain, the alpha species, but let’s not let this go to our heads; there are many downsides to being a member of The Prepared.
In a just world, the masses would be going to The Prepared for answers to the crisis, and some do, but overall I think The Prepared will be more hated for their predictive capabilities than admired. This is why prepared people have to stick together, organize and protect one another; because the day is coming when they will be targeted as enemies of the collective.
Beware anyone promoting the notion that we are “all in this together”; this is the gateway to collectivism and it is a blatant lie. As mentioned, there are establishment elites that plan to gain from this event while the rest of us suffer; they are NOT on our side or in our boat. They will use the pandemic and the simultaneous economic collapse (which they have engineered) to maneuver the public into abandoning their freedoms in the name of collective safety.
There are useful idiots and narcopaths out there that thrive in these types of unstable environments. They too are vampires seeking to bleed people dry while using the disaster as cover. These are the people screaming at strangers walking down the street that they need to “go back home” and “flatten the curve”. These are the people calling the cops on their neighbors for talking in a group bigger than two or three. These are the local government officials calling for bans on church services even when they are held outside and follow the “guidelines” of social distancing. These are the people calling preppers “hoarders” and demanding that their supplies be redistributed. These are the people that revel in authoritarianism.
Understand that there are many sides to this conflict and very few of them are honorable. Listen to your conscience, listen to evidence, truth and reason, and choose your side wisely.

US Mint Halts All Production Over Virus Fears As Gold & Silver Coin Demand Nears Record Highs

Just as the premium between physical and paper precious metals prices was starting to fade a little, the US Mint has decided to temporally halt all production at its West Point facility in New York because of the risk to employees from COVID-19.
Bloomberg reports that the Mint had previously redirected some silver bullion production to its Philadelphia facility, Michael White, a spokesman, said in an email.
“My commitment to the health and safety of the Mint workforce is unwavering and continues to be my highest priority”, said Mint Director David J. Ryder.
“These are challenging and unprecedented times, and decisions on Mint operations are made with the best interests of Mint employees first and foremost.”
During the temporary suspension of operations at the West Point facility, it will continue to make American Eagle and America the Beautiful silver bullion coins available to its network of authorized purchasers.

I call BS. Watch the impact on precious metals as the physical assets are no longer available and the dollar becomes the new toilet paper.

The Coronavirus Is Even More Dangerous Than Previously Thought
The more we learn about the honey badger virus (covid-19), the more we realize what a beast it truly is. Yesterday’s video went into the damage the virus does to the lungs.
It’s also becoming clear covid-19 also injures the heart, kidneys, nervous & circulatory systems, intestines and liver.
Again, you do NOT want to get this if you can avoid it. We are also seeing that it’s a hard foe to defeat. In a growing number of ‘best case’ countries, when lockdowns are lifted, they’re having to be quickly re-instated as new outbreak blooms occur.
Meanwhile, the damage covid-19 is doing to the global economy is becoming increasingly clear – and grim. Demand has fallen by record amounts, the banking system is looking shaky, and food security is now becoming a concern.

T.L. Davis: Dangerous Distinction

Allowing ourselves to be shut away in our homes, our businesses closed, our lives regulated by the state is a mistake. It is something we might have done on our own, without state orders and that fine line is the crux of the issue and the dangerous distinction between right and wrong.
Had things not been state ordered, what I think would have happened is those who could remain at home and still do their jobs remotely, would have. Schools could have gone online and actually should have long ago, with parent-approved curriculum, rather than the state-ordered curriculum that makes our children accept liberal and communist principles in order to pass their classes and graduate. Online higher education has been effective for nearly a generation.
Church, on the other hand, is not the same. It is a Christian expectation that those of the flock will gather together. Matthew 18:20 says: “Where two or three gather in my name, I am with them.” Common sense can dictate the distance one keeps from others or the judicious use of self-mitigating practices. But, common sense is the one thing the liberal and communist education curriculums try desperately to eradicate. Communism doesn’t work logically, to common sense it is irrational so common sense is the one thing that must be done away with.
There are two ways of thinking of things. One is that the distribution and proliferation of good information allows a free people to make good decisions concerning their individual lives and circumstances. The other is to believe that the government must dictate that which it deems is best for the people and enforce it with law and the use of force. In this crisis, we have gone completely to the second method of governance. That method ignores individual circumstance and treats all citizens the same. America was built on the concept that we are individuals, each capable of making individual choices that serve their circumstances best.
The first method assumes logical and intelligent thought. The second method assumes an inability to think at all.
In the interest of public safety, many have tolerated the lockdown, but that limited leash is reaching its end. Michigan has found a way to resist the communist nature of its governor and that method of resistance should continue and grow across the nation, putting more and more pressure on the oppressive governments to rescind their communist orders.
It does not undo the damage already done. By once forfeiting the right to make such decisions on our own, we cannot reclaim them without force. That is the ultimate question to be answered by patriots. We have now seen communism demonstrated on these shores, the black hand of Marx spread throughout the states. We have enough evidence of their intent and their methods to determine what they have in mind. It is ours to start dismantling these forces peacefully, or not.

Coronavirus: The Dead Speak!
Pathology results studying those who have died of covid-19 are starting to unveil some of the virus’ secrets.
First, the damage done to the lungs is far worse than that done anywhere else in the body. And specifically, it’s excessive clotting in the lungs that appears to be the root cause. Covid-19 causes a coagulation storm that greatly impairs the lungs’ ability to exchange oxygen.
An indicator called the Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC) score is emerging as a key predictor of how fatal a covid-19 case will be. If the patient has a DIC score in excess of 5, then odds of a bad outcome dramatically increase.
Treating covid-19 patients, even those with mild symptoms, with anticoagulants may be part of the standard regimen going forward.
In other news, the Federal Reserve is up to its old tricks of bailing out those who deserve it least while worsening the wealth inequality divide. And looking at oil, which is now at the staggeringly low price of $20/barrel, Chris predicts hard economic times ahead.
Which makes the Fed’s actions really look like grab for cash before everything goes to hell. A last-ditch effort by the rich to get all they can — a pure wealth transfer from us to them. Maddening…

Raleigh police break up crowd protesting to #ReopenNC
Dozens of people, many wearing red, white and blue and waving American flags, gathered outside the Legislative Building in downtown Raleigh Tuesday to protest the statewide stay-at-home order that has shut down businesses and crippled North Carolina’s economy in an attempt to slow and contain the spread of coronavirus.
The order, issued March 27 by Gov. Roy Cooper, prohibits gatherings of 10 or more people, closes businesses not considered “essential,” and asks people to stay home other than trips to buy groceries, pick up prescriptions, visit a health care provider, exercise, care for family members, volunteer to serve the needy or visit a place of worship.
The order as established was to last for 30 days. But with just over two weeks left in that original plan, a group demanding the order be lifted gathered to honk, chant and protest on Tuesday.
