Just hours after the town of Garner announced it was cancelling its Christmas parade, the town of Wake Forest released a statement noting its parade is still on, and will include the Sons & Daughters of the Confederacy.
In the statement, the town notes that the parade is officially presented by Wake Forest Downtown, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) organization.
“Make no mistake about it – the Town of Wake Forest is extremely sensitive to the emotion the confederate flag stirs among those on both sides of this issue. We recognize that for some the flag represents racism, hatred and bigotry, while others see it as a representation of Southern heritage protected as a matter of freedom of speech/freedom of expression.
Due to the considerable local and national debate this issue has stirred in recent years, Town officials consulted with legal counsel in 2018 concerning the Town’s options when it comes to the possible exclusion of certain groups from the parade. We were told in no uncertain terms that as the government entity partnering with WFD in the facilitation of the parade that we have no legal basis for excluding any group based on the flag or symbol they display. Furthermore, there have been court cases where groups that were excluded successfully sued the entities that banned them.”
“I think Wake Forest is doing the right thing. I think people have become too sensitive these days. History is history. You can’t rewrite history,” said one man, who declined to give his name, citing the sensitivity of the issue.

Bracing for a city showdown, Fayetteville, North Carolina is looking to take on New York City after a handful of homeless families were reportedly illegally bused there from the Big Apple.
An investigative report from the NY Post found that it’s part of an assistance program in New York but Fayetteville’s mayor says he had no idea it was happening.
“There were a number of cities in the country that New York was sending their homeless to and we were one of them,” said Mayor Mitch Colvin. “In fact, I think we were the largest recipient in North Carolina and this was troubling.”
Mayor Colvin says he found out about it when a reporter from the New York Post contacted him earlier this month for comment on the estimated six families that were reportedly bused to North Carolina as a result of the SOTA program or Special One Time Assistance Plan.

I just got back from a few days at my Cabin in Virginia. I went for a little Deer hunting with my son Connor. Didn’t get the opportunity to drop one, only seen four Doe. Enjoyed spending some time with my son though.
What a different location makes. I only get a few channels on the television up there. But let me tell you, the local news lead stories were all about 2nd amendment sanctuary counties. Not impeachment, nope it was all bout protecting our rights. They showed scenes from a few different counties, they are packing the county meeting halls.
There is a resistance movement taking place in Virginia. There is a deep divide between the rural red areas that held power for a long time and the urban communities that now dominate. The mountain folk have figured out that their vote is now worthless. They will never be able to out vote the big cities. They are now looking to secure the place where they live. Virginia is fracturing.
NC, SC and GA will be the next to fall. We have been inundated with these Democrats and they have weaseled their way into our politics and have screwed us all.
You need to check out the laws that they intend to pass once this new congress is sworn in January in Virginia. I’ll provide the link here….
Basically I will be breaking the law if I transport my rifles to my cabin when I go. My neighbors, what few I have near my cabin, are arming up and buying magazines, ammo, anything they can get their hands on. Now these folks are well armed already but they are stocking up. They have no intention of turning anything in and are willing to fight for their right to bear arms.
While declaring themselves sanctuary counties is a nice symbolic statement, these resolutions are not legally binding. At some point it is going to be necessary to take direct, meaningful action. Imagine trying to travel through a state where each county is enforcing its own laws. One is a 2A county and the next is a sanctuary for illegals. These will become battle lines once people get pushed to that point. At least in my neck of the woods up there, they are preparing for the fight that seems inevitable. We are watching the lines being drawn and when this starts, it’s going to get messy.

Could anyone fathom 20 years ago that our historical monuments to our ancestors that stood against federal tyranny would be taken down one by one? We are already in a cold war and they are kicking our ass. But things seem to be heating up.
Regions of the United States are splitting apart. This is what happens in a lead up to Civil War. Virginia is going to be prime real estate in the coming War and it may be where it all begins.

Democratic representatives should think twice before they vote to impeach President Trump.
I thought I had said all I was going to say on “Ukrainegate” in my article “Make the Truth Irrelevant.” Then I read a column on the Internet by Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan whose very title: “Trump’s Defenders Have No Defense” (WSJ, 11/21/19) bespeaks its idiocy. Unfortunately, it also represents a lot of what’s being peddled by the mainstream media.
How would Noonan or anyone else outside Trump’s circle know whether he does or does not have a defense when the rules of the only body that has pursued the case against him preclude him from offering a defense? In the House impeachment hearings, Trump’s defenders cannot call their own witnesses, cannot confront the whistleblower whose complaint launched the case, cannot challenge hearsay evidence and have it excluded, and cannot probe the motives or possibly illegal behavior of his accusers.
Noonan further embarrasses herself with the following: “As to the impeachment itself, the case has been so clearly made you wonder what exactly the Senate will be left doing. How will they hold a lengthy trial with a case this clear?” She reveals her own ignorance of the law and facts of this particular case, and complete lack of decency or sense of fair play, rendering such a judgment after hearing only one side of the case.

Random Thoughts from An Immigrant
I was blessed with the opportunity to settle in the US about 15 years ago. The road to permanent residency and citizenship was fraught with frustration and financial costs. That typed, I thank God each day for bringing me here and I also thank Him for my citizenship, The Constitution and the friends that have been placed in my path.
I would like to get a few frustrations off my chest.
I was born and raised in South Africa, a wonderful country with countless natural resources, friendly and hospitable people, stunning wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Growing up, I saw the twilight years of the Apartheid era and that was indeed a dark time in the country’s history. I was one of countless whites who voted for change and with Mandela’s release and the ANC taking power in 1991, there was a feeling of hope and excitement that this new chapter in the country’s history would have the people working together to build on what was a solid infrastructure.
Well, sadly as the years passed, the ANC proved that a leopard does not change its spots. Government corruption grew, and certain elements within the ANC leadership clearly stated that the current generation of whites had to be punished for all past evils that had occurred. Crime exploded and although petty crime was and is still plentiful, violent crime became the order of the day. Vehicle hijackings, brutal gang rapes, home invasions during which the occupants were often beaten, shot, stabbed, raped and murdered, military style cash in transit heists and then stories of brazen government corruption are daily news headlines.
I realized that if these conditions were to prevail, this was not a place where I would choose to raise a family. Fast forward to my arrival in the US. Although the journey over the last few years has had many difficulties, I have been embraced as a legal immigrant. I have met many down to earth, liberty minded people. That typed, I have wanted to assimilate and I have no desire or need to try and stamp my previous culture on this country that I now consider home.
This is a phenomenal country and Divine intervention definitely had a profound impact on the founding. The past several years have been really concerning as I have had first-hand experience with the racial divide that is constantly being fueled over here. Certain elements actually make a living by constantly stirring hatred between black and white people. Calls for monuments to be removed, calls intimating that the flag, national anthem and even names of places be changed is not a surprise to me. You may ask why? Well this is the exact same strategy that has been carried out over the last several years in South Africa. Province names, city and town names, airport names and yes, the flag and national anthem had to change.
History cannot be erased. One has to learn from it so that past mistakes do not take place again. I will echo the sentiment of others who note that in order to destroy a nation, one part of the strategy needs to involve editing the history. Once this is achieved, destroy any sense of sovereignty by embracing ‘multiculturalism’ to the extent that any sense of nationalism is considered taboo. This strategy is effective and it is being implemented with absolute abandon in the US.
I will type on and let the readers know that while the future of SA played a key role in my decision to leave, it was evident that the absence of a Constitutional right to keep and bear arms made that decision quite painless. There are many of my fellow Americans who have no idea how blessed we are to have the Bill Of Rights. Let me simplify things and state what many learned individuals have mentioned on countless occasions: 2A is the foundation of liberty. The Founders were schooled in English Law and they had an intimate understanding that the right to keep and bear arms dates back to Sixteenth Century Europe. Those politicians and proponents of the nanny system who preach that ‘a well-regulated militia’ refers to the National Guard, are only trying to deceive those who they wish to control. At the time when 2A was written, the concept of a ‘National Guard’ was not even a figment of the human imagination. These tyrants need to read writings of Aristotle, Machiavelli, Beccaria and others on a right which is God given. I read once that if you want to know what is in a man’s heart, just ask him what his thoughts on private firearms ownership are-a real simple litmus test.
So all the calls for increased gun laws? THEY DO NOT WORK. South Africa’s laws have become so draconian. Law abiding citizens who wish to defend themselves have to apply for a license for a specific firearm. When purchasing ammunition, the license for the firearm in question has to be shown. The purchase is entered into a register and the amount of ammunition purchased and owned is also restricted. The quantity of firearms owned is restricted and although in certain instances, such as a sport shooter, additional licenses may be granted, the process is tedious and frustrating. I provide this trivia because, the criminals are not impacted and have access to whatever the black market can offer or whatever they can steal. ‘Common sense gun laws’ is intentionally a vague and open statement because those who despise liberty need to be able to move the goal lines so that the incremental erosion of our rights can continue.
Anyone who talks about increasing gun laws in the name ‘gun safety, sensible gun ownership, saving the life of just one child’ is either ignorant or a tyrant. Criminals never ever obey any laws. Case closed. 2A does not grant ‘We the People’ a right to keep and bear arms. It ACKNOWLEDGES the right.
In conclusion, as a proud naturalized citizen, a few thoughts:
In conclusion, I am proud to call the US home and I will do everything in my power to respect and protect the Supreme Law of the Land. May God have mercy on the United States of America.

After Hillary Clinton’s loss in the 2016 election, progressive strategist Tara McGowan came up with a solution to winning future elections in battleground states: fake newspapers. McGowan left her job at Priorities USA, the largest Democratic super PAC, and created Courier. Courier is a collection of progressive news sites which have been created to appear to be local news sources in various states when in fact they are Democratic media operations:
McGowan is spearheading what may be the most audacious project this election cycle. She’s raising $25 million from a host of wealthy liberals to establish a for-profit media company, Courier Newsroom, that has already started rolling out digital newspapers with local reporters and editors in six key swing states—Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin—to fill the news deserts, deliver the facts favorable to Democrats that she thinks voters are missing, and counter right-wing spin.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota-5th) was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediaries to Iran, a Florida court has been told.
The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.
Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.
According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”
