The REAL Chanukah story

Maccabees: Hebrew, makkabah, (a Hammer)

Chanukah is the feast of the Re-dedication of the Holy Temple Altar after the successful Maccabean revolt against Syrian-Greek Antiochus Epiphanes king of Syria and his successors who had usurped authority over the Hebrews, conquered Jerusalem, and strove to introduce idolatrous worship oppression and had destroyed it, and the HOLY Altar was defiled. In order to reuse the HOLY altar, it had to be rededicated to Yehovah. (YHVH).

The name Maccabeus was first applied to Judas, one of the sons of Mattathias generally called in English the Maccabees, a celebrated family, who defended Jewish rights and customs in the 2nd century B.C. (1 Maccabees 2:1-3).

Thus the REAL Chanukah story.

You can read of this in the 1611 Bible, and in the Apocrypha. It is found in the original 5 books of Maccabees.

After the expulsion of Antiochus Epiphanes from Egypt by the Romans, he gave vent to his indignation on the Jews, great numbers of whom he mercilessly put to death in Jerusalem. He oppressed them in every way, and tried to abolish altogether the Hebrew worship of their Elohim. Mattathias, an aged HOLY Priest, then residing at Modin, a city to the west of Jerusalem, became now the courageous and wise leader of the national party; and having fled to the mountains, rallied round him a large band of men prepared to fight and die for their country and for their religion, which was now violently suppressed.

In 1 Macc. 2:60 it is recorded in his dying counsels to his sons with reference to the war they were now to carry on. His son Judas, “the Maccabees,” succeeded him (B.C. 166) as the leader in directing the war of independence, which was carried on with great heroism on the part of the Jews, and was terminated in the defeat of the Syrians Antiochus Epiphanes king of Syria and his successors who had usurped authority over the Jews, conquered Jerusalem, and strove to introduce idolatrous worship.

Modern bibles, Christian bibles, have removed this from their covers.

John makes a statement of about the feast of dedication. This is what he was referencing, what is now called Chanukah.

It was much later after the Maccabee conquest that saved Israel, that the Jewish Priests made Chanukah into a manmade feast, and where a story evolved about a miracle of oil where menorah candles burned for 8 days on one days oil. The HOLY altar olive oil had also been defiled in this Greek war, and so it took 8 days to press and purify fresh holy oil. This is where the origin of a 9 branch candle became a “chanikiah”, now widely used in place of the 7 lighted candle that was mounted to the Holy altar as instructed by MOSES in Exodus 25:31-40.

USSA Under the Obama Plan

We only have to look at England to see what will happen under the pResident’s plan to disarm the people. When knives are outlawed, only Islamic terrorists will have machetes. Or in the case of the Barbary Coast Wars, cutlasses.

I am sure that the pResident’s attempts to disarm the people is for one purpose and it is not for our security.

Fighting Words: An Open Letter to Publisher Arthur Sulzberger, Jr.

by James Wesley, Rawles

The New York Times just published the newspaper’s first front page editorial in 95 years. It urged America’s legislators to outlaw civilian ownership of semiautomatic battle rifles. This editorial twisted words to castigate our militia arms as follows: ” These are weapons of war, barely modified and deliberately marketed as tools of macho vigilantism and even insurrection.”

The editor went on to urge: ” Certain kinds of weapons, like the slightly modified combat rifles used in California, and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership. It is possible to define those guns in a clear and effective way and, yes, it would require Americans who own those kinds of weapons to give them up for the good of their fellow citizens.” [Emphasis added.]

Those are fighting words. They’ve made it clear: These statists want to enact a law forcing civilian disarmament. This would of course be enforced under color of law, by their recently militarized bully boys in black. (Formerly in blue.)

New York Times calls for end to “gun epidemic”

The lines are already drawn. The stage is set and tonight we may see the final act in this play of tyranny. If people understood the states’ purpose for the 2nd amendment, it would be clear why the government wants to disarm us. Security under tyranny = slavery.

Did Turkey Just Invade Iraq To Protect Erdogan’s ISIS Oil Smuggling Routes?

On Friday, Turkey sent troops into Iraq.

Here’s a video of the deployment shared on social media:

Contrary to what you might have read, there’s really nothing unusual about that.

What’s different this time around, is that this isn’t a Kurd-chasing mission.

In fact, if you believe the official line, it’s the exact opposite. Turkey has apparently had some 90 troops on the ground in Bashiqa “for two years” on a mission to “train” the Peshmerga. The new troops – around 150 personnel supported by two dozen tanks- will “take over the mission,” according to Hurriyet. “Turkey will have a permanent military base in the Bashiqa region of Mosul as the Turkish forces in the region training the Peshmerga forces have been reinforced,” the daily continues, adding that “the deal regarding the base was signed between Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Massoud Barzani and Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu, during the latter’s visit to northern Iraq on Nov. 4.”

Former Congressman Unleashes on Attorney General in Rant Against Islam: ‘Go Ahead and Prosecute Me. I Dare You.’

A former U.S. congressman urged Attorney General Loretta Lynch to arrest him after she warned on Thursday that her office would take a more aggressive approach to those spewing anti-Muslim rhetoric.

“I think Islam has a real freaking problem, alright?” Former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh said in a video posted to his Facebook page. “There is a cancer in Islam, and if they’re not going to learn to assimilate, I don’t want them in this country.”

“You got a problem, Loretta Lynch, with me saying that? Then throw me in jail,” Walsh, a conservative talk show host, argued. “I think Islam is evil. I think Islam has a huge problem. I think most Muslims around the world are not compatible with American values. I don’t want them here.”

Unmarked Russian Air Force jet makes erratic passes over Cali, disappears over Sacramento

Just as soon as the page refreshed the plane disappeared or ‘went dark’ along with the link, Franchi explained, after witnessing a “Russian Air Force jet” being tracked online over parts of California and Nevada.

Shockingly and for no apparent reason the aircraft appeared to be flying in erratic patterns as documented and posted by Twitter user @M3t4_tr0n.

Logic of a Modern Militia

"Militia Company of District VIII under the Command of Captain Roelof Bicker," by Bartholomeus van der Helst - 1643. Dennis Jarvis / Flickr

Let us say the 2016 presidential election is won by an anti-establishment candidate—Donald Trump? Bernie Sanders?—who knows that the establishment’s national-security policy was made for the 20th century, not the 21st. What might his alternative be?

To fit 21st-century realities, it would have to begin by acknowledging the greatest change in war since the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. That treaty, which ended the Thirty Years’ War, gave the state a monopoly on armed conflict. As laid out in Martin van Creveld’s brilliant book The Transformation of War, published in 1991, the state is now losing that monopoly. All over the world, state armed forces designed, trained, and equipped to fight each other are instead fighting non-state opponents in what I call Fourth Generation war. All over the world, state armed forces are losing.

An American national-security policy designed for an era of this new style of war would have two aspects: security overseas and security at home. Both would look very different from current policy.

Security overseas means avoiding entanglement in Fourth Generation wars. Involvement in conflicts with non-state entities will result in our defeat, as it already has in Lebanon, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Not only do America’s armed forces not know how to win such wars, they have little interest in learning. Comfortable with their expertise in reducing the art of war to the mechanics of putting firepower on targets, they do not want to adjust to wars where the moral level is more powerful than the physical level. Nor is Fourth Generation war much good for justifying expensive programs for complex, high-tech weapons.

It’s Islam — it really is

Being delusional has its rewards; one can live in a fantasy world where you believe yourself to always be the most intelligent person in any room, where people that war against your country really aren’t bad folks, and people who perform atrocities in the name of their perverted religion really don’t belong to that religion.

Years ago I duck hunted in the swamps of Georgia. When I saw birds flying over the swamp just before daylight, I pretty much knew they were ducks. But, when I saw a bird with feathers which walked like a duck, quacked like a duck, had a flat bill like a duck, and swam like a duck – I became 100% convinced that it was actually a duck.

In 2009 Army Major named Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 soldiers and wounded more than thirty more. From November 5, 2009 until April 2015, the Obama folks insisted that the dead and wounded were the victims of “workplace violence.” The fact that Major Hasan was an admitted Islamic terrorist never entered the delusional mind of Mr. Obama. The victims, after an almost six year wait, received Purple Heart medals but are still being denied benefits.

That was not the first or the last Islamic killings in America during Mr. Obama’s watch:

June 1, 2009 – In a drive-by shooting, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad – a convert to Islam who had traveled to Yemen – opened fire on U.S. soldiers standing in front of a Little Rock, Arkansas, recruiting office. One soldier was killed and another wounded. Muhammad admitted that he had planned to kill as many soldiers as possible and was given the assignment by Al-Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula. He was never described as an Islamic terrorist.

Feb. 7, 2013 – Yusuf Ibrahim, 28, shot two Coptic Christians to death and beheaded them in Buena Vista, New Jersey. He also removed their hands before burying their bodies in the backyard of an abandoned house. He was never described as an Islamic terrorist.

April 15, 2013 – Muslim Chechen brothers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev detonate two pressure cooker bombs during the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring an estimated 264 others. They were never described as Islamic terrorist.

Aug. 4, 2013 – A Muslim convert, Daymond Agnew, 34, went to an Ace Hardware store on a “mission from Allah to help people” before he fatally stabbed employee Daniel Joseph Stone 17 times. He was never described as an Islamic terrorist.

April 27, 2014 – A 30-year-old Muslim man, Ali Muhammad Brown, is accused of shooting to death two men in Seattle and a man in New Jersey. According to local reports, he told police the killings were “vengeance” for U.S. actions in the Mideast. According to court documents, he said they were “just kills” and that he was “just doing my small part” as a self-styled jihadist. Nope – he wasn’t a radical Islamic terrorist either.

July 16, 2015 – Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, 24, killed Four U.S. Marines on a U.S. Navy facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. No he wasn’t a radical Islamic terrorist either.

December 2, 2015 – Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, killed fourteen people and wounded twenty-one others in a conference center in San Bernardino, CA. Police stated that they had enough ammunition and explosive devices to start a war. The FBI has now acknowledged the obvious – that the duck is actually a duck and the killings in San Bernardino were an act of terrorism. Obama folks are still silent and may not actually admit that this barbaric act was caused by radical Islamic terrorists.

When one lives in a bubble – protected by legions of armed guards one can afford to believe in Never Never Land – the rest of America cannot.

The problem with being delusional is that, over time, people may start wondering if you have a mental disorder, or that you are just plain stupid. In Mr. Obama’s case the two may not be mutually exclusive.

Have a good week. Bill Shuey is a freelance writer from North Carolina.

Islam: A Symptom and Not the Root Problem?

babel1

Genesis 11:7-8 Come, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

There will be those who poo-poo what I have to suggest here because it is based on Scripture and is, therefore, ‘religious’. Before that tact is taken, it might be well to consider the book as wisdom literature rather than a ‘religious’ text. That is the direction from which I offer this insight.

At the end of the day, everything is tribal. It’s not about ‘race’ or ‘ethnicity’. Want proof? Democrat vs. Republican, Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys, and yes, even still, Yankees vs. Southerners. When you hear folks discussing two sports teams, you will hear them include themselves as if they were a team member. ‘We’ scored. ‘Our’ offense. If people are so hardwired that they tribalize something so trivial as sporting events, what does that suggest about more important things such as worldview? In the end, it must be my clan, my kith, my kin.

We have been sold the idea by ‘progressives’ that our strength is in ‘diversity’. That, my friends, is idiotic on its face. Strength is in unity. America was strong when she required a melting pot where immigrants assimilated into American culture. She has become weak with the advent of the idea that immigrants not only may, but should keep their own culture and disregard America’s.

The Tower of Babel makes the point. Strength is in unity. What did God do to weaken the one world order of the day? He garbled their language and scattered them. And what has man (or more properly put, the enemy) been doing ever since? Attempting to rebuild and regain a ‘one world order’.

The one thing the globalists seem not to understand is that we are not wired in such a way as to allow for a one world government. Babel was united, not diverse. The modern peoples of planet earth are diverse, not united. They can be temporarily forced into compliance with a one world state under tyranny, but they will never be united. Thus, there will always be a struggle to return to ‘my clan’, ‘my kith’, ‘my kin’. It would appear that wisdom lies in smaller united groups with common interests, not a huge monolithic order.

Our problems with Islam are a direct symptom of the cancer of the lust for power of the globalist elite. They play the old ‘divide and conquer’ routine and expect that once sovereignty is destroyed the people will be united. Their plan cannot succeed, but they will destroy much and murder many in its pursuit.

I suspect that the game plan of the globalists is to sow Jihad throughout the West so as to cause absolute chaos (as in Syria or Libya). Once that is achieved, they will ride in on their white horse with a solution, and we all can guess what that will be. Our best defense is a return to community (kith, kin and clan) and to resist the leviathan with all our might, and yes, that will likely include bloodshed. Same as it ever was …
