Set Up Your Intelligence Now

The Quick Start ACE

Aveighter from the MVT Intelligence Support to the Warfighter Forum asked a really great question – how do we spin up an Analysis and Control Element (ACE) in record time to respond to a time-sensitive event like the Nevada/Bundy Ranch incident?  I’ve outlined the answer in two sections below.  I’m going to get this published in ebook form with lots of pretty pictures and it’ll be available for download here later this week.  Print it off and add it to your collection, send it to a friend, whatever, but use it!

I. The ACE Team

Good intelligence allows the commander to make informed, time-sensitive decisions, and use his finite resources to maximum effect; he and his organization run the risk of mission failure without it.  Information is derived from a collection capacity, and formulated into intelligence through quality analysis.  The intelligence element, tasked with transforming information into intelligence and delivering it to the commander, plays a critical role.  An organization involved in stability/support or combat operations must have an intelligence element whether it’s one individual doing the best he or she can, a small team of individuals, or an entire section of trained intelligence analysts.

Imagine where our country would be if only our churches taught the Word of God. And yes, there is a reason for posting this article from 2011: I want this forwarded to your pastors and ministers.

Romans 13: Setting It Straight

by Chuck Baldwin

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the biggest reason America is in the mess that it’s in today is directly due to the apathy and indifference of the American pulpit. I am reminded of what Charles Finney, the famed 19th Century revivalist, said: “If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that they very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it.”

Our second President, John Adams, put it this way: “It is the duty of the clergy to accommodate their discourses to the times, to preach against such sins as are most prevalent, and recommend such virtues as are most wanted. For example, if exorbitant ambition and venality are predominate, ought they not to warn their hearers against those vices? If public spirit is much wanted, should they not inculcate this great virtue? If the rights and duties of Christian magistrates and subjects are disputed, should they not explain them, show their nature, ends, limitations, and restrictions, howmuchsoever it may move the gall of Massachusetts?”

Martin Luther, the great Protestant reformer, was even more direct. He said, “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at the moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved. And to be steady on all the battle fields besides is merely flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.”

Colorado Couple Battling Government to Save Their Land Give Up

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ89L8skxcQ

Imagine this:

You do your research and you choose a retreat property far off the beaten path.  You spend time and money developing it, making it your own.  Maybe it is a vacation home, or maybe you’re a prepper and this is your bug-out location. Regardless of the reason you chose it, it’s yours, so maybe you plant some perennial vegetables and some fruit trees.  You dig a well or locate a spring.   You make it your own.

Then the government comes along and says, “Nope, we want this land – you’re out.”

And they just take it, evicting you like they are the landlord and you are merely a tenant, despite your name on the deed.

Full Mobilization: Either Russia Is Positioning Troops for a Massive Offensive… Or This Is The Most Expensive Military Exercise in World History

chess-global-war

By Mac Slavo

No one at the White House will officially admit it, but we may well be sitting on the cusp of a widespread conflagration. To suggest otherwise is simply naive. The chess game is, without a doubt, in full swing.

After having threatened Vladimir Putin’s $40 billion personal fortune with asset forfeiture last week, the United States continues to push forward with a variety of sanctions against anyone and any nation believed to be providing material support to pro-Russian interests. This morning the S&P ratings agency, likely with the support of U.S. officials, fired a shot across the bow of the Russian economy by downgrading the country to just above “junk status,” a move likely designed to scare foreign investment interests and bank capital to flee the country.

Russia retaliated almost immediately by proposing a scorched earth policy reminiscent of their tactical withdrawal against the Germans in World War II. In essence, should the United States continue its attack on the Russian economy and individual wealth, the country will begin to divest itself completely of Western influence by withdrawing all dollar and Euro denominated assets, selling investment bonds of any country supporting the sanctions, and engaging in global trade through exchange mechanisms that do not involve the dollar.

They’ve Found the Missing Fukushima Nuclear Cores

We reported in May 2011 that authorities knew – within days or weeks – that all 3 active Fukushima nuclear reactors had melted down, but covered up that fact for months.

The next month, we reported that Fukushima’s reactors had actually suffered something much worse: nuclear melt-throughs, where the nuclear fuel melted through the containment vessels and into the ground. At the time, this was described as:

 The worst possibility in a nuclear accident.

But now, it turns out that some of the Fukushima reactors have suffered even a more extreme type of damage: melt-OUTS.

A Passionate Republican Amnesty Advocate: Congresswoman Renee Ellmers

It’s not often that politicians insult their own constituents. It’s not often that a Republican congressperson slanders a respected national conservative commentator. And it’s not often that a Republican enjoys financial help from a billionaire left-winger. But the 2nd district of North Carolina has drawn the short end of the stick with GOP Representative Renee Ellmers. (North Carolina’s 2nd district includes Fort Bragg and all or part of Moore, Cumberland, and Wake counties.)

Ellmers insulted a group of constituents for expressing valid concerns about mass immigration, rudely lashed out at Laura Ingraham, then turned to liberal donor groups to help her primary campaign — an appeal that resulted in huge donations from Mark Zuckerberg.

In 2010, Ellmers (R-NC, 2nd district) rode the Tea Party wave into office, and identified herself with the grass roots. Now, after turning her back on the constituents who once supported her, she is in a heated primary fight against conservative Frank Roche. How did a Republicans from a red district become amnesty’s biggest Republican supporter? The simple answer is bad ideas and big money.

Goodnight America

Rep. Chris Broadwater, Republican

From YouTube:

The state of Louisiana has a new Data Warehouse. All of the citizens’ information will be utilized to determine who will be a risk to the state. Are you a risk to the state? Don’t worry, they plan to intervene in your life, if they determine you are…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This software “solution” was developed by Jim Goodnight’s SAS in Cary, North Carolina. What else is Mr. Goodnight doing?
Preston’s developer thinks bigger, proposes new 22,000 home city in Chatham County
Chatham Park is the brainchild of Tim Smith, one of the most successful developers in the Triangle. With the sole financial backing of SAS co-founder Jim Goodnight – one of the 100 richest people in the world – Smith’s company, Preston Development Co., has spent more than $100 million in recent years buying a spread half the size of Chapel Hill.
If built, Chatham Park would be the largest private development in North Carolina’s recent history. It would transform the town of Pittsboro, which the developers hope will be their host and partner.
Skull-Stomping More Sacred Cows: A Rant about Militia “Standards”
Before anyone starts whining about me picking on people, or judging others….a little background.
I’ve taught over a dozen classes, in field and classroom environments to “militias” over the last two years. I’ve also had militia members in open-enrollment classes. While there are some exceptions that have proved the rule, the vast majority of them, when I showed up, were as squared away as a f_cking soup sandwich. I’m not sure if they’re better now, but at least they’ve been shown a better way.
I have respect for anyone who will get off his ass and go out, on a weekend, and do SOMETHING. I think it’s awesome that guys are getting off the couch and going to militia drill weekends, and getting outside and shooting their weapons (I hope they’re shooting their weapons).
I think it’s awesome that so many guys threw their shit in the truck and went to Nevada to stand up to the BLM. I KNOW that at least one guy who showed up is a former USMC NCO, with combat experience in Iraq. I hope there were a bunch more, and I hope all the militia “commanders” were at least smart enough to listen to the adult supervision.
What I don’t like? People passing off stupid bullshit as “training” and “standards” to well-meaning people who don’t know any better, under the color of “authority” as militia “commanders” because some jackass wrote a really poorly written set of “standards.”
I guarantee the “Lightfoot Militia Standards” mentioned in the below quoted comment from my last article was NOT written by anyone with military leadership experience. –JM)
The following comment was posted in the comments on the last article, and precipitated this skull-stomping:
