The next total lunar eclipses will occur Oct. 8, 2014, April 4, 2015, and Sept. 28, 2015. Previously, an eclipse tetrad occurred from 2003 to 2004. The next time skywatchers will be treated to four consecutive total lunar eclipses will be in the years 2032 to 2033, according to NASA.

Administration Urged to Lift Restrictions on Non-Lethal Military Aid to Ukraine

The Obama administration is withholding urgently needed non-lethal military equipment to Ukraine under restrictions that view body armor, night vision goggles, radios, and fuel as destabilizing “force multipliers,” according to a bipartisan assessment of Ukraine’s military needs.

“Independent of American high-level policy, implementation of U.S. non-lethal military aid is seriously flawed and needs immediate correction,” states a report by retired Army Gen. Wesley K. Clark and former arms control official Phillip A. Karber following a visit to military units in Ukraine.

The report is significant for its bipartisanship. Clark is a former Democratic presidential candidate and retired four-star NATO commander. Karber was a strategy adviser to Reagan administration Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger.

Another well played chess move by Putin. Russia’s increased energy prices in Ukraine and a demand to pay off their overdue energy invoices is being paid in part by the US taxpayer. The US has just guaranteed to cover $1 billion of the overdue costs to keep the energy flowing to Ukraine (and Europe). What will Russia use this money for? As outlined below, Russia has increased it military budget as the rest of the world is cutting back.

For the first time in 10 years, Russia last year spent a bigger share of its overall economy on arms investments than the U.S. as it seeks to bolster its military capability, a Swedish arms watchdog said Monday.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute said Russia increased its military spending in 2013 by 4.8 percent to $87.8 billion, representing 4.1 percent of its gross domestic product. Meanwhile, global military spending fell by 1.9 percent in 2013 to $1.7 trillion, as many Western countries cut arms investments following the financial crisis.

The Giveaway of American Energy to the Chinese

The Bundy affair affirmed the fact that Chinese are being handed control of solar energy inside the United States and that this is being facilitated by Senator Harry Reid. The takeover of American energy is being manifested on many fronts, but in particular, it is being concentrated on the takeover of the solar industry in the new Agenda 21 designation with the so-called “Solar Energy Zones”.

These Solar Energy Zones are appearing in multiple locations in such places as Southwestern Arizona, Barstow, CA. and Victorville, CA., and now I am receiving on te ground reports from Colorado and Utah as well. These designated Solar Energy Zones have very similar variables in common. The following chart indicates that the debt compensation will consist of complete control of the solar industry and will be expanded to other energy sources (e.g. hydroelectric and nuclear power). Again, here is a chart which demonstrates the commonalities shared by these Solar Energy Zones.

We Are The Freedom Fighters

I am glad there is peace on the home front for the Bundys (however long that might be). As for the rest of us, the war has just begun. This was a skirmish, not a battle, not the war. What we have discovered from the skirmish is the feds don’t know how to handle social media communication to draw supporters. They will fix that. We know they don’t like to have the guns facing the other way, it probably confused them. Imagine how surprised they will be when bullets start coming out.

Many thanks to the militias who took their roles seriously and rucked up. I hope this incident is good for recruitment, one would think so. There are a lot of disillusioned people who need a reason and a direction. Most of whom got a reason the other day.

Thinking past it all, one should go to WRSA at this link and read the comment by Lost Patrol. This is the way the patriot mind ought to be thinking. Start developing Rapid Deployment Forces in each given area to address local issues. It shouldn’t have to take national exposure and twenty years of bucking the feds to get patriots to the scene. Though, it does help to support someone with a backbone of his own as Cliven Bundy and his family showed over the ordeal.

POSEIDON COMPASS AAR

Here are some notes that Poseidon Compass Connecticut (PCCT) participants have helped me compile.  More than anything, I think this was a valuable learning experience for many.  Since introducing PCCT, several of you have emailed or commented that we could or should do more intel exercises with on-going and future events.  I think that’s a great idea.  I would love to see numerous Poseidon Compass exercises in the future but I won’t be able to facilitate them due to lack of time, not lack of desire.  This won’t be the last time you see Poseidon Compass from my end, and we’ll be working to improve the process.  So take the framework we developed for PCCT and use it for a real-time event in your area.

Some of the information contained in this AAR is due to lack of planning time, others due to virtual communications.  Doing this all online is a HUGE stumbling block.  Normally, we’d all be in the same office or tent, every individual is a trained intelligence collector or analyst, and we have seven or eight-figure budgets… but we went to PCCT with the ACE we had.  Regardless of circumstances, here are what I consider to be the biggest needs for improvement going forward.

1. Ensure that each cell has an Officer in Charge (OIC), whose role and leadership responsibilities are clearly defined.  (In our defense, it’s difficult to name OICs when there are so few capable individuals who understand the process well enough to lead a cell full of people he or she doesn’t know.)

2. Ensure that each cell has a complete and down-to-the-minute Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).  There were times when we saw the need for specific courses of action but a mechanism hadn’t been put into place to facilitate them.
