IRANIAN NUKE SITES HIT WITH ‘SABOTAGE’

Iranian officials revealed on Monday that several “new acts of sabotage” had taken place at its controversial Arak nuclear reactor facility and that other so-called “enemy plots” had been carried out at separate key nuclear sites.

Iranian security forces told the country’s state-run press early Monday that these “new acts of sabotage” had been discovered at the Arak heavy water reactor, which has been jointly built with aid from Russia.

Iran accused foreign forces of carrying out the act of sabotage, but did not immediately name any one nation it believes to be responsible for the supposed tampering at Arak.

The Arak nuclear reactor has emerged as a sticking point in negotiations between Tehran and the West due to its ability to provide Iran with a second, plutonium-based path to a nuclear weapon.

Russian Inspectors to Check U.S. Nuclear Cuts Amid Ukraine Crisis

Russian troops in Crimea

by Bill Gertz

Russian arms officials will arrive in the United States on Monday to conduct an inspection of U.S. strategic nuclear facilities amid heightened tensions over Moscow’s military incursion into Ukraine and a U.S. ultimatum to withdraw the forces.

Additionally, a team of Russian arms inspectors are set to arrive in San Francisco for the treaty-permitted inspection that will take place days after Moscow threatened to cancel similar U.S. inspections in Russia.

The go-ahead for the inspection, which is being kept officially secret under rules outlined in the 2010 New START treaty, reflects the administration’s national security priority of supporting arms control treaties despite recent disclosures that Russia has failed to comply with several nuclear and military accords.

Ukraine’s Gold Reserves Secretly Flown Out and Confiscated by the New York Federal Reserve?

Gold-Ukraine

A Russian Internet news site Iskra (“Spark”) based in Zaporozhye, eastern Ukraine,  reported on March 7, that  “Ukraine’s gold reserves had been hastily airlifted to the United States from Borispol Airport east of Kiev”.

This alleged airlift and confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves by the New York Federal Reserve has not been confirmed by the Western media.

According to Iskra News:

At 2 a.m. this morning [March 7] an unmarked transport plane was on the runway at Borispol Airport (above) [east of Kiev]. According to airport staff, before the plane came to the airport, four trucks and two Volkswagen minibuses arrived, all the truck license plates missing.

Fifteen people in black uniforms, masks, and body armor stepped out, some armed with machine guns. They loaded the plane with more than 40 heavy boxes.

How Much Longer Does North Carolina Have to Endure Renee Ellmers?

ELLMERS CALLS IN PRO-AMNESTY GROUP FOR RESCUE AFTER ON-AIR MELTDOWN

Hours after an on-air meltdown over immigration, Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) asked pro-amnesty business group ImmigrationWorksUSA to bail her out of criticism, prompting the group to send an email plea for phone calls and other support.

“We need your help,” ImmigrationWorksUSA wrote to its email subscribers. “Rep. Renee Ellmers has been an outspoken advocate for immigration reform, and now she is being attacked by the right for her courageous stance. Please join us in speaking out in her defense. Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham called out the congresswoman this morning, and Breitbart TV piled on.”

In the email, the advocacy group wrote that “Rep. Ellmers’ office has asked for our help.” The group then quoted from what a representative from Ellmers’ team specifically asked them to do: “We need any folks that can call the show, or tweet at Laura to do so. We need everyone from top to bottom – from farmers and workers to executives and trade industry folks. She basically claimed that the stories we’re hearing aren’t true. We need to show her that she’s wrong.”

Russia media say Crimea votes 93 percent to quit Ukraine

Russian state media said Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to break with Ukraine and join Russia on Sunday, as Kiev accused Moscow of pouring forces into the peninsula and warned separatist leaders “the ground will burn under their feet”.

RIA news agency said 93 percent backed annexation, citing an exit poll released as voting ended at 8 p.m. (1800 GMT). Another Russian agency said turnout was over 80 percent.

Caught in an East-West crisis reminiscent of the Cold War, Kiev said Russia’s build-up of forces in the Black Sea region was in “crude violation” of an international treaty, and announced plans to arm and train 20,000 members of a newly-created National Guard to defend the nation.

Don’t Send Your Child to School for Another Day Without Reading This First

stupid kids crossingby Dave Hodges

As a parent, I am one critical hombre, but I have nothing but praise for the educational opportunities that my son is experiencing, except in one area. The educators in my state and in your state lack courage, nor do they possess the fortitude to stand up to injustice. Unfortunately, a disturbing thing happened at my son’s parent/teacher conference this past week. My son’s teachers and their bosses are unwitting accomplices in the active dumbing down of the curriculum and they are all aware of this transgression being committed against the integrity of our children’s collective educational futures. Your children’s teachers, administrators and school board members are this generation’s answer to the “I was just following orders” crowd. These educators frequently state that “I see problems with Common Core, but it would not be good for me to speak out.” Our children need educators, administrators and school board members who have the courage to speak out against all injustices which impact our children. The educators in America are proving to be among the biggest sheep in the country.

Consequences to Common Core

Under Common Core, a student is not expected to take Algebra until 9th grade. When you and I were in school, we took Algebra in the 8th grade. This means that if our children progress through high school on the Common Core sequence, our children will not qualify for entrance into a four year college/university. This is called the dumbing down of America and our teachers are aware of this fact.

Gun Confiscation: Organized, Sanctioned Terrorism

christian mercenary

by T.L. Davis

The State of Connecticut is writing checks its police forces cannot cash. The backlash from Officer Joe Peterson’s tirade against a gun owner, culminating in his statement that he couldn’t wait to get the order to kick in John Cinque’s door (because Cinque openly refuses to obey the ban) grew to such proportions that the police chief sat down with John Cinque to see how to diffuse the threats coming into the Branford Police Department, not just Joe Peterson, either.

While I strongly disagree with Cinque’s proposal to quiet the storm, it shows that when the people decide that the government is out of line, their resistance will bring even the typically arrogant police department to a point of desperation. It is instructive.

In my opinion, Cinque’s response to the overture of peace should simply have been to tell the police chief: “Reassure the public that your officers will not enforce this illegal law. Openly and publicly  inform the legislature of the same.”
