It looks like I am safe for another day. The pResident warned people about bloggers “who profit from conflict”. Since I do not profit from my site, he must not mean me in particular. Unless he thinks that I am making money…

Obama: “Stop Focusing On The Bloggers”

It is here that he makes the following statement:

“Now that the government has reopened and this threat to our economy is removed, all of us need to stop focusing on the lobbyists, and the bloggers, and the talking heads on radio and the professional activists who profit from conflict, and focus on what the majority of Americans sent us here to do, and that’s grow this economy, create good jobs, strengthen the middle class, educate our kids, lay the foundation for broad-based prosperity and get our fiscal house in order for the long haul.”

We will ignore the irony of a president talking about “profiting from conflict” when less than two months ago the world was on the verge of World War III over a fabricated, false flag-driven invasion “confirmed” by YouTube clips, and designed entirely by this administration to further (and profit) its Saudi and Qatari interests, and which was halted in the last minute thanks to none other than the Russian president, and ask: instead of stopping to “focus on bloggers” who merely do the math in a world in which math is long forgotten, let’s for one month, week or day, simply halt the Federal Reserve’s circular monetary authority which now purchases virtually all issued US Treasurys that carry any duration risk.

From CNN: The debt ceiling deal that stole Christmas?

131016093919-grinch-debt-ceiling-620xa

This November and December, sales are expected to marginally increase 3.9% to $602.1 billion, slightly higher than last year’s 3.5% holiday season sales growth, National Retail Federation (NRF) says. The estimates were released earlier this month, however, the U.S. enters the holiday shopping season after consumer confidence last week saw its sharpest one-week drop since the period following collapse of Lehman Brothers, according to Gallup.

The NRF has not updated its forecast since the shutdown began, but on Thursday CEO Matthew Shay had sharp words for Congress.

“As we head into the holiday shopping season, retailers and consumers need stability and certainty from policymakers in Washington and assurance that the economy will not implode due to their actions or more important, lack thereof,” Shay said in statement. “This new norm of legislating from crisis to crisis is no way to govern.”

And that’s how the debt ceiling could steal Christmas.

Destroy the Tea Party

Behind this week's cover

It did not take too long to see what will be driving the next media news cycle to distract the people from the disastrous rollout of Obamacare : destroy the Tea Party. What most people do not understand is that the media has (and continues) to vilify anyone who supports the Constitution and the rule of law. Fiscal responsibility is not to be admired but attacked by even those who relish in their “conservative” label.

Basic self-evident truths that patriotic Americans (not only Tea Party members) espouse are the greatest danger to the “leaders” in Washington, D.C. So here is a simple test, contact a “conservative” acquaintance who still believes in the Republican Party and ask for their opinion of what the Tea Party represents. The consensus will be that the Tea Party represents domestic terrorists who are trying to bring down the country. Then ask them why they believe this to be true. Then explain how propaganda works on the feeble minded.

Why must the Tea Party and patriots be destroyed? We are the only vestige of Liberty standing up to the complete implementation of tyranny. And based on the legislation passed to continue spending unabated, tyranny is winning.

David DeGerolamo

Pyrrhic Victory:

The term is used as an analogy in fields such as business, politics, and sports to describe struggles that end up ruining the victor.

The Tea Party’s Pyrrhic Victory

Say this for Tea Party Republicans: They don’t back down. No apologies for triggering a partial shutdown of the federal government, then refusing to raise the debt ceiling without concessions. Condemnation rains down on them from the White House, from foreign capitals, from public opinion polls, but the Tea Party rages on.

Bill to spare U.S. economy from debt crisis also delivers favors

U.S. President Barack Obama leaves the briefing room of the White House in Washington after the Senate passed the bill to reopen the government, October 16, 2013. REUTERS/Yuri Gripas

The last-minute bill to avert a potentially catastrophic U.S. default and reopen the government came in at a relatively skimpy 35 pages, but lawmakers still managed to pack in some special favors.

The legislation also includes a $174,000 payment to Bonnie Englebardt Lautenberg, the widow of New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg, who died in June.

Lautenberg was a respected New Jersey Democrat. He was a multi-millionaire, but Senate traditions honor late senators with a cash payment to their survivors.

And it extends an authority for the Department of Defense to continue to support African forces pursuing Joseph Kony and the Lord’s Resistance Army.

Gold Celebrates America’s Three Month Can Kicking, Soars

Remember that persistent seller of epic amount of gold futures contracts, whose dumps have resulted in two NYMEX shutdowns in the past month alone, and whose daily tape bombing is now watched carefully by all (even the CFTC’s Bart Chilton who can rejoice – the CFTC is now open and he can go back to “supervising” the market and stuff)? Well, he is mysteriously absent this morning, as gold (and silver) soars by $50 from $1275 to $1320 in the matter of minutes, showing just how furious the short covering spreed in the gold space can and will be when it becomes clear just how right Dagong was. The next such instance of clarity we expect will take place in December, early January when the farce repeats itself.

China’s Dagong Downgrades US To A- From A

Since all US rating agencies (Fitch is majority French-owned) have been terrified into submission and will never again touch the rating of the US following the DOJ’s witch hunt of S&P, any US rating changes on the margin will come from abroad. Like China’s Dagong rating agency, which several hours ago just downgraded the US from A to A-, maintaining its negative outlook. The agency said that while a default has been averted by a last minute agreement in Congress, the fundamental situation of debt growth outpacing fiscal income and GDP remains unchanged. “Hence the government is still approaching the verge of default crisis, a situation that cannot be substantially alleviated in the foreseeable future.”

Among the other Dagong zingers:

How Turkey shopped Mossad spies to Iran: A story leaked by Washington to caution Netanyahu

Turkey's intelligence chief Hakan Fidan at the White House

Turkey’s intelligence chief Hakan Fidan at the White House

Early last year, the Erdogan government blew the cover of up to 10 Israel agents in Iran who had been meeting inside Turkey with their Mossad case officers. This story was published in The Washington Post, by David Ignatius, who has excellent connections in the US capital, Thursday, Oct. 17 – the day after a two-day conference in Geneva between six world powers with Iran on its nuclear program. A chorus of Western powers led by the US hailed the event as “substantive” and “forward-looking.”

But on the quiet, the WP story was directed against Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu as a caution to him to drop his “lone voice” posture against trusting Iran to abandon its nuclear weapon aspirations. Instead, he must look forward and start getting used to the “new Middle East” and the role Barack Obama has assigned for Iran. If he persists in his defiant attitude, Israeli intelligence may face more debacles like the Turkish betrayal.

The WP story reveals from “knowledgeable sources” that Israeli intelligence had apparently run part of its Iranian spy network through Turkey, which has relatively easy movement back and forth across its border with Iran. “The Turkish intelligence service MIT had the resources to monitor those meetings, but after 50 years of cooperation with Turkey, Israel never imagined the Turks would “shop” Israeli agents to a hostile power.

House Passes Legislation to End the Government Shutdown and Raise the Debt Ceiling

Once again, our leaders have traded fiscal responsibility for tyranny and debt to enslave us. The measure needed 216 votes to pass and every Democrat supported the pResident and Speaker Boehner. The final vote was 288 ayes to 144 nays.

The pResident will gloat over his total domination of our country as he plans to unleash his next assault on freedom by passing immigration reform. This will ensure Democrat victories in future elections through voter fraud and payoffs. This will also provide cover for the complete failure of Obamacare.

Welcome to Amerika.

GRNC-PVF Alert 10-16-13: Morrisville Mayor Continues Her Assault On The Second Amendment

Morrisville Mayor Continues Her Assault

Morrisville City Council meets Tuesday (10/22) to decide your fate as gun owners…

Morrisville Mayor Jackie Holcombe is once again attempting to unlawfully abridge your rights with another town council meeting to circumvent state law. According to The Cary News, Holcombe is again calling for more restrictions for law-abiding Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) holders, despite recent advances in law which took effect on October 1st. Residents of Morrisville will have their chance to counter this latest barrage of attacks against their rights at a scheduled Morrisville Town Council meeting on October 22nd.

Holcombe’s attack on your rights is just the latest example of her long history of antipathy toward the Second Amendment. In 2012, she became a useful political appendage for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his disturbing Mayors Against Illegal Guns group (MAIG), first by trying to work around the expansion of gun rights brought by HB650 when signed into law, and then by attempting to strong-arm private businesses such as Gander Mountain into “doing their part” by “discontinuing sales of semi-automatic rifles and high capacity ammunition magazines.” within their Morrisville location.

Mayor Holcombe simply doesn’t want you, or your guns, anywherearound Morrisville no matter what the law allows for and she has proven that she will use her political influence to accomplish her goals. Worse, she is more than willing and able to do Bloomberg’s bidding right here in our own communities.

Domestic Enemy Sen. Richard Burr on Ted Cruz and Mike Lee

From the New York Times:

Senator Richard Burr, Republican of North Carolina, took a swipe at Senators Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, and Mike Lee, Republican of Utah, as well as House members who linked further funding of the government to gutting the health care law, which is financed by its own designated revenues and spending cuts.

Let’s just say sometimes learning what can’t be accomplished is an important long-term thing,” Mr. Burr said, “and hopefully for some of the members they’ve learned it’s impossible to defund mandatory programs by shutting down the federal government.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A sad day for North Carolina. Burr even looks porcine in the picture above. Senators Burr and Hagan are the prime reason why North Carolina needs a recall amendment. Too bad the people in this state do not have the ability to amend the state’s illegal constitution through a referendum by the people.
And as icing on the cake, Burr voted with his buddies, John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte to appease the pResident’s “compromise” solution to the government shutdown/debt ceiling crisis.
Confirmed: Chase bank drops the hammer on capital controls; no money allowed to transfer out of USA starting Nov. 17th
capital controls
I admit that when I saw today’s breaking news on InfoWars.com about Chase Bank limiting cash withdrawals and banning international wire transfers, I was skeptical. Many readers didn’t believe it, either. So just to check it out, I called my own accounting team to ask if we had received a similar letter from Chase, announcing that no international wire transfers would be allowed after Nov. 17th.
Sure enough, we were sent the same letter! I’ve posted a JPG image of the letter below so you can read it for yourself.
Or Click here to see the hi-res scan of this letter. This is the letter that we received directly from Chase. This is not secondhand information.
The letter clearly states that beginning November 17:
• All international wire transfers will be disallowed.
• All cash activity, including cash withdrawals and deposits, will be halted at “$50,000 per statement cycle.” How are businesses who deal with a lot of cash (such as restaurants) supposed to function under such restrictions?
I predicted this would happen on October 18th; off by 29 days.
Keith Alexander, NSA Head, Stepping Down
After eight years at the helm of “America’s secret cyber army“, NSA head Keith Alexander, has decided to spend more time with his family and less time with yours, and is stepping down. According to US officials, the director of the NSA and his deputy are expected to depart in coming months, in a move that almost certainly would not have happened without the involvement of America’s most infamous whitsleblower currently self-exiled in Russia, Edward Snowden in a development which according to Reuters, “could give Obama a chance to reshape the eavesdropping agency.”
It is unclear what he would “reshape” it into: at last check the Stasi headquarters in Berlin did not have quite the capacity to house the Cray supercomputers needed to make sure that anyone and everyone caught selling stocks gets a lifetime audit guarantee from the IRS.
