Italy’s Beppe Grillo – in 1998

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyCpidT53nY#!

If Italy defaults on its “obligations” to the banks controlling the world’s economic collapse, what happens? France’s banks will collapse immediately. The EU will disband or reorganize into a smaller northern union. Without Great Britain and a bankrupt France, Germany will take control. The southern countries of Greece, Portugal and Spain will follow in Italy’s footsteps. What is the time frame? Watch Italy’s Grillo in the formation of their next government and the consequences of the unemployed youth in Southern Europe once the weather breaks.

Then again, we can also watch “democracy” in action in Egypt.

Jim Rogers: We’re Wiping Out The Savings Class Globally, To Terrible Consequence

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0TSQaKMK2w#t=64s

Jim Rogers decries the growing uncertainty and recklessness of global central planners as the world enters uncharted financial markets:

For the first time in recorded history, we have nearly every central bank printing money and trying to debase their currency. This has never happened before. How it’s going to work out, I don’t know. It just depends on which one goes down the most and first, and they take turns. When one says a currency is going down, the question is against what? because they are all trying to debase themselves. It’s a peculiar time in world history.

I own the dollar, not because I have any confidence in the dollar and not because it’s sound – it’s a terribly flawed currency – but I expect more currency turmoil, more financial turmoil. During periods like that, people, for whatever reason, flee to the U.S. dollar as a safe haven. It is not a safe haven, but it is perceived that way by some people. That’s why the dollar is going up. That’s why I own it. Will I own it in five years, ten years? I don’t know.

Next-gen binoculars can help ID suspects

The Navy hopes to equip sailors with binoculars that can ID potential bad guys from up to 200 meters away.

The high-tech eye gear, to be used at home and abroad, would work in tandem with a database of images that could help ID targets or suspected terrorists.

The technology is under consideration for deployed Navy SEALs, but also force-protection personnel back home, whose job it is to protect Navy bases from terrorist threats, said Tommy Groves, a spokesman at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, where the project is underway.

The system would work like so: The binoculars would scan an individual’s face and that data would be transferred through a wireless network to a laptop with the photo database. This database could be tailored for the mission or draw from an existing database, Groves said.

I Am Not Buying It…

I am not buying the news concerning a NYSE disaster backup plan. Any event which would shutdown the New York Stock Exchange would be temporary in nature according to this report. With the “test” high frequency trades (HFTs) seen over the past few months, it is more likely that this “plan” will allow certain institutions time to raid the market as the average investor is locked out. Like MF Global customers after Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan raided its assets.

How do you know when the economic collapse is getting close? Here is one trigger.

David DeGerolamo

NYSE prepares disaster backup plan

The New York Stock Exchange is readying plans to be able to operate without human traders in case another disaster, such as Superstorm Sandy, forces the shutdown of its historic trading floor in downtown Manhattan, The Wall Street Journal reported.

NYSE Euronext (NYX.N) is preparing to submit details of the plan to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, according to the report, which cited people involved in the preparations. If activated, the plan would represent the first time the 221-year-old exchange would rely entirely on computer systems, without the oversight of floor-based traders, the paper said.

Obama You Idiot…Sequester Takes Away All My Sons’ Military Active Duty Tuition Assistance

Just heard this morning from one of my 3 sons currently serving that the Obama administration has decided to cut all tuition assistance to active duty military.  Why is it that those that stand up and risk life and limb for this country are treated the worst by this president?  The military make very little money, live in humble housing, sacrifice time with family and friends to go at a moment’s notice to the call of duty to this country, and yet are expected to sacrifice even more by losing one of their few benefits they do have access to.

This is so wrong and my anger is great right now! They already have been cutting hours and jobs for military spouses but that isn’t enough pain for Obama to inflict!  He is evil in my eyes!  He knows exactly what he is doing with these cuts!  He thinks all of us country-loving, flag-waving, military-supporting conservative Americans will call our politicians and tell them to surrender and give Obama what he wants – more of our hard-earned money in the form of more taxes!  He is so wrong there!  I say stay strong men and women of the military and don’t let this useless excuse of a president intimidate you!  We are behind you and know you are stronger than this weak yellow-bellied coward sitting in the White House! I know there are others that feel the same way and we will find every way possible to support our sons and daughters in uniform!

Obama’s Israel visit is on – to sweeten pill of nuclear Iran

"We're coming" to Israel

“We’re coming” to Israel

President Barack Obama will visit Israel later this month, the 20th, even if Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu fails to put together a governing coalition beforehand. “We’re going,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said at a briefing for reporters Friday, March 9. In answer to a question, he said, “The formation of the Israeli government is the responsibility of Prime Minister Netanyahu and other senior officials of the Israeli government…”

Secretary of state John Kerry thought otherwise when he skipped a visit to Israel as not worthwhile until a government is in place. (Netanyahu’s deadline for forming a government has been extended to March16.)

DEBKAfile reports from its Washington sources that President Obama’s calculations for making the trip are a lot more complicated than Kerry’s. According to some Israeli circles, none of them are good news for their country.

He arrives less than a month after the last Six-Power (US, Russia, UK, France, China and Germany) nuclear discussions with Iran ended in Kazakhstan. After those talks, US and Western media trumpeted “an unusual sense of optimism” or more cautiously allowed “a faint and perhaps fleeting light at the end of one of the world’s most durable tunnels.”

So when Air Force One lands in Israel March 20 and Israeli dignitaries push forward to greet the US president, a small group of anonymous Air Force pilots will be watching from a distance, waiting for the order to fly out and carry out their mission in a single night.

Why Didn’t the European Union Collapse Yet?

Why is the European Union still intact? They are bankrupt, divided between the North and South, and have no plan to address any of their problems.  But keep in mind, we are discussing the EU – not the United States.

As with any entity that is bankrupt and its debts are due, there are only three choices: default, borrow from some other entity or print more money (if you control a central bank). As outlined below, the EU has chosen to take money from the Federal Reserve to postpone the inevitable. A lot of money. Which the Fed now lists as an asset.

In the case of the US, the Fed has chosen to direct the US Treasury to print more money. To send to Europe. To solve the problem of their economic collapse. And expedite our economic collapse.

And for the Fed’s next trick, they will continue to prop up the stock market with their POMO policy.

Fed Injects Record $100 Billion Cash Into Foreign Banks Operating In The US In Past Week

Those who have been following our exclusive series of the Fed’s direct bailout of European banks (hereherehere and here), and, indirectly of Europe, will not be surprised at all to learn that in the week ended February 27, or the week in which Europe went into a however brief tailspin following the shocking defeat of Bersani in the Italian elections, and an even more shocking victory by Berlusconi and Grillo, leading to a political vacuum and a hung parliament, the Fed injected a record $99 billion of excess reserves into foreign banks. As the most recent H.8 statement makes very clear, soared from $836 billion to a near-record $936 billion, or a $99.3 billion reserve “reallocation” in the form of cash – very, very fungible cash – into foreign (read European) banks in one week.

The Revolt Against FEMA

Hurricane Sandy aftermath / AP

Some New Jersey hurricane victims are complaining that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is doing more harm than Superstorm Sandy did when it hit over four months ago and washed away their homes and businesses.

FEMA has caused more damage to the shore than Sandy did,” said George Kasimos, a flood victim from Toms River, N.J.

He is the founder of the growing grassroots group, Stop FEMA Now. The group feels FEMA is responsible for suffering and uncertainty for many Sandy victims who cannot start to rebuild.

FEMA issued Advisory Base Flood Elevation Maps as a provision of the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012, which was signed by President Barack Obama last July. That act expands flood zones, doubles flood insurance premiums, and requires those in certain flood zones to elevate their homes.

Stop FEMA Now is calling on Congress to revise the Biggert-Waters Act and curb FEMA’s power.

‘Imagine’ an America Where Kids Beg for ‘More Fruits, Vegetables’ – ‘It is Possible To Create This World!’

First Lady Michelle Obama said she can “imagine” an America where businesses promote the “healthiest options” so children will be “begging and pleading” for fruits and vegetables, adding that “it is possible to create” such a world.

Kenyatta, indicted for crimes against humanity, was declared winner of Kenya’s presidential election on Saturday with a tiny margin, just enough to avoid a run-off after a race that has divided the nation along tribal lines.
