Global Temperatures Highest in 4,000 Years

According to the New York Times, our global temperatures are the highest (or warmer) than at any other time in at least 4000 years. One of the world’s “experts” made this statement:

Michael E. Mann, a researcher at Pennsylvania State University who is an expert in the relevant techniques but was not involved in the new research, said the authors had made conservative data choices in their analysis.

“It’s another important achievement and significant result as we continue to refine our knowledge and understanding of climate change,” Dr. Mann said.

A quick Google search of “Michael Mann Fraud” returns 598,000 hits. His famous “hockey stick” paper has been discredited and he has filed a lawsuit for defamation of character. He has been compared to another famous Penn State name: Jerry Sandusky.

It is curious why anyone would resort to using a discredited “researcher” as a source to validate the “news”.

Global Temperatures Highest in 4,000 Years

Global temperatures are warmer than at any time in at least 4,000 years, scientists reported Thursday, and over the coming decades are likely to surpass levels not seen on the planet since before the last ice age.

Previous research had extended back roughly 1,500 years, and suggested that the rapid temperature spike of the past century, believed to be a consequence of human activity, exceeded any warming episode during those years. The new work confirms that result while suggesting the modern warming is unique over a longer period.

IRS “determining who to audit and who not to.”

‘Equal treatment under the law’ and ‘Ignorance of the law is no excuse’ are catch phrases common to almost every American. Back in the day when justice did, indeed, operate in our country, at least more often than not, these phrases meant something. Today, apparently not. When the bureaucrats pick and choose who to audit based on political considerations and ‘cost benefit,’ equality under the law is over.

When Jesse Ventura became Governor of the State of Minnesota, he visited the office of the Minnesota Attorney General. He found leather bound books from floor to ceiling on three walls of that office. When Governor Ventura inquired as to what the volumes contained, the Attorney General responded that they held all the laws of the State of Minnesota. To this Governor Ventura exclaimed, “I thought ignorance of the law is no excuse, but how could anyone know all these laws?”

Indeed Governor. How could they? And then add all the Federal laws, including the tax laws that even the IRS can’t keep track of, to the burden. Now, Obamacare leads us into a whole new height of madness. We’re all criminals now!

Americans have suffered the unconstitutional and fraudulently imposed ‘income tax’ for many decades with more and more folks simply failing to file each year. Perhaps we are approaching a period where not the level of the taxation (which is immoral and confiscatory as it stands) but the shear incomprehensibility of the rules will cause the majority of Americans to reach the point, as they have with their firearms, of saying ‘molon labe’, come and take it … if you can, and just no longer filing a return.

North Korea Nullifies All Nonaggression Agreements with South Korea

Angrily responding to the United Nations Security Council’s unanimous decision to impose tightened sanctions, North Korea said on Friday that it was nullifying all nonaggression agreements with South Korea, with one of its top generals claiming that his country had nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles ready to blast off.

Matching the harsh warning with a toughened stance, South Korea said on Friday that if Pyongyang attacks the South with a nuclear weapon, the regime of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, “will be erased from the earth.”

While weapons experts say North Korea does not have the technical capability to use nuclear-tipped missiles, that did not stop it from warning of their deployment.

“With their targets set, our intercontinental ballistic missiles and other missiles are on a standby, loaded with lighter, smaller and diversified nuclear warheads,” said Kang Pyo-yong, a three-star general and vice defense minister of North Korea. “If we push the button, they will blast off and their barrage will turn Washington, the stronghold of American imperialists and the nest of evil, and its followers, into a sea of fire.”

Dempsey to visit Moscow for missile defense, nuclear talks

Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will travel to Moscow in the near future to hold discussions with his Russian counterpart on missile defense and further nuclear reductions.

Dempsey accepted the offer to visit made Wednesday by Gen. Valery Gerasimov, chief of the general staff, to discuss differences on missile defense, said Col. Dave Lapan, Dempsey’s spokesman.

Lapan told the Free Beacon that the chairman has not given his position on additional warhead, bomber, and missile reductions.

However, Dempsey has “acknowledged that there are very detailed discussions underway within the interagency on the issue,” Lapan said.

HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY — At approximately 10pm on Thursday night, January 24, 2013, 33-year-old Keith Pantaleon of Jersey City, New Jersey, was in the bedroom of his apartment watching television after a full day’s work – when he heard thumping noises coming from his living room.

Believing that his residence may be being broken into, he grabbed his soft-bound Day Planner case (which also held a lawfully purchased handgun), and cracked open his bedroom door to investigate.
In the center of his living room, he saw a man dressed entirely in dark clothing who had his back towards him. He cracked open his door slightly further and saw near the entrance to his apartment a police officer, his landlord, and an EMT worker.

When the man dressed in dark clothing in the middle of his living room turned around, he saw it was another police officer.

One of the officers immediately ordered Pantaleon to come out of his bedroom. Pantaleon tossed his unopened Day Planner case onto his bed. As he went to close his bedroom door behind him, one of the officers pushed him into his living room. The officer then ordered Pantaleon to face a corner of his living room and handcuffed him. One of the officers allegedly threatened Pantaleon that if he had pulled out a firearm, he would have shot him. Officers asked if Pantaleon owned any firearms. To which, he did not reply.

Secret Obama Group Won’t Disclose Secret Meeting Location

A controversial dark money group recently created to promote Democratic policies and officials has refused to disclose the location of a secretive donor meeting it will hold in Washington, D.C., next week.

Organizing for Action (OFA), a 501(c)(4) advocacy group created by President Barack Obama’s former campaign manager, will hold an event called the “founders summit” in a Washington hotel on Wednesday, March 13, according to an NPR report.

According to the New York Times, donors will pay $50,000 to attend the event, where they can brush shoulders with OFA chair Jim Messina and Jon Carson, the group’s executive director and the former director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.

For $500,000, donors will enjoy a spot on OFA’s national advisory board, which gives them direct access to the president and other top administration officials. Government watchdog groups have blasted the scheme as a transparent pay-to-play arrangement.

Organizing for Action staff have ignored or rebuffed numerous requests for additional information about the founders summit.

John McCain’s position on Sen. Rand Paul’s filibuster concerning the use of drones against American citizens on US soil:

where Democrats praised Mr. Paul for using Senate rules properly to launch a filibuster, Mr. McCain said it was an abuse of rules that could hurt the GOP in the long run.

“What we saw yesterday is going to give ammunition to those who say the rules of the Senate are being abused,” the Arizona Republican said.

Our founding fathers had no love for career politicians. The concept of incorporating term limits into the Constitution was not considered because they did not believe that we needed it since we had moral and virtuous civil servants. Shame on the people of Arizona for re-electing a power hungry domestic enemy.

Burrtrayal!

At 11:47 A.M EST on March 6th, a historic event took place, a freshman Senator from Kentucky rose and stood up for the American people. Rand Paul’s message was simple, get the President to say that there would be NO drone strikes on non-combatant United States Citizens on American soil. Pretty simple message if you ask me.
While many pundits, press, and even one or two other Senators stayed with Mr. Paul, notably absent from this event was our own Sen. Richard Burr. Where was he you might ask. Was he rallying support for our civil liberties here on the home front in North Carolina? No…..Burr was enjoying an all expense paid dinner with President Obama at the Jefferson Hotel. A dinner which was paid for by the President – at least hopefully so and not with taxpayer money.

HB 353 Opposition to the Game Fish Bill

Below you will find a letter written by Browny Douglas, the Dare County Republican Party Chairman.  This letter was sent to every member of the North Carolina General Assembly, and Governor Pat McCrory. This letter is in firm opposition to House Bill 353, The Game Fish Bill.  If you are not familiar with HB 353, you can read the bill by going to ncleg.net. On the “Find a bill”, enter the session 2011 to 2012 and enter the Bill No. HB353.

This bill cuts the legs out from under commercial fishing industry by designating certain fish off limits to them; only to be caught by a select, small sector of  recreational fishermen. This bill WILL eliminate existing jobs; this bill WILL  essentially kill the commercial fishing industry in North Carolina, and this bill WILL hit Dare County particularly hard.
In the BIGGER picture, this bill will deny nine million consumers (the total North Carolina population) access to locally caught fresh North Carolina seafood; allowing only those who want to catch, kiss, release, and or eat TOTAL access  to certain species.
It has been said that “this bill calls upon one’s moral compass”.  Indeed it does.

2nd Amendment Town Hall – March 13, 2013

On Wednesday, March 13, there will be a non-partisan Town Hall meeting for all residents of Lee County in Sanford, NC.  The subject will be: the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the position of Authorities.

Speaking from our State Government will be newly elected Lt. Governor, Dan Forrest.

Speaking from our judiciary will be sitting Administrative Court Judge, Beecher Gray.

Speaking for county law enforcement will be Sheriff Tracy Carter.

Speaking for our statewide advocacy group, Grass Roots North Carolina, will be Thomas Rhyne.

All citizens are urged to attend.  Time will be allotted for audience questions.
