Five Reasons Not to Vote

I recently received an email offering five reasons why I should vote in the upcoming presidential election. The reasons were provided by a Romney supporter. I suspect others have received similar suggestions for not only Mr. Romney but also reasons to vote for Obama. I continue my determination not to comply to the suggestions of the partisans for either party. I respond with my own five reasons why we should not vote, at all.

1) When one votes for the lesser of two evils, one is still voting for evil.
2) Our ‘choice’ is an illusion. The same elitists control both candidates and both political parties.
3) The important policies never change regardless of which party has control. Our freedom continues to be destroyed, the economy continues to suffer due to out of control spending, the big corporations and bankers continue to rape the country, and justice has fled the land.
4) The election vote counting is rigged. Remember, a large part of our votes will be tabulated in Spain and electronic voting is subject to hacking but not subject to a verifiable recount.
5) Who said the American people need to be ‘ruled’? I reject the premise and therefore have no need to elect a ‘ruler’. As a matter of fact, We the People must give our consent to the government to represent us. Based on this governments track record over the past 50 years, it would be reckless in the extreme to continue granting them that consent. When we refuse to participate in the voting charade, we withdraw our consent.

For those who would refer to this as my ‘freedom to do nothing’ I would say this; I don’t view withholding my vote as doing nothing. It is, in fact doing a very large something. It is representative of withdrawing my support of a corrupt system and a criminal government.

This Is How Food Stamps Really Work

I received the following email today :

This picture is endorsed by nearly 50 million people who eat at the expense of  American taxpayers and the Chinese government

The reality is quite different. A food stamp recipient actually receives an EBT card instead of the “old” food stamp voucher:

EBT card

How does someone get their “right” to an EBT card? Glad you asked: Continue reading

Berliner lies in front of the Reichstag on fire

BERLIN (translated)

Hundreds of tourists and Berliners on Saturday became eyewitnesses to a spectacular suicide in front of the Reichstag building.

A 32-year-old Berliner stabbed himself in the chest according to police at noon at the main entrance of the Reichstag. He then doused himself with a flammable liquid and set fire to himself. Passersby alerted the police and rescue workers. They tried in vain to resuscitate the man. He succumbed to his injuries on site yet.

‘Jerusalem Post’ poll finds Obama loses support among Israelis

US President Obama, PM Netanyahu at White Hous

Jewish citizens see US president as more pro-Palestinian than pro-Israel by 28:18 margin; Right-wingers four times more likely to see him as pro-Palestinian; Among left-wingers, 28% said the administration was more pro-Israel.

The gap between the percentage of Jewish Israelis who consider US President Barack Obama’s administration more pro-Palestinian and those who deem it more pro-Israel rose by 10 percentage points over the past six months, according to a Smith Research poll sponsored by The Jerusalem Post.

The poll found that 28% believe the Obama administration is more pro-Palestinian, 18% find it more pro-Israel and 40% call it neutral, with 14% declining to participate. A Post/Smith poll asking the same question in April found that the proportion of Israelis who called the administration more pro-Israel and more pro- Palestinian was equal at 24%.

Gold Market Manipulation Explained

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEFCgY5pN0c#!

From YouTube:

Increasingly the suspicion is raised that the gold price is kept artificially in check. But who can have an interest in a manipulated price of gold? Central banks? Lars Schall conducted an exclusive interview related to this topic with the technical analyst and book author Dimitri Speck.

Dimitri Speck is a founding partner and Chief Financial Engineer of Staedel Hanseatic, an investment managing fund based in Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Riga. The investment process is based on computer models that were developed through years of empirical research. Speck specializes in pattern recognition of charts. As part of these activity, he came across an anomaly in the gold price, with which he was able to demonstrate systematic interventions in the gold market. He also designed the Stay-C Commodity Index of the German stock exchange and is the editor of the website www.seasonal-charts.com. Furthermore, he is the author of the book “Geheime Goldpolitik” (“Secret Gold Policy”), which was published in 2010 at the Finanzbuch Verlag in Munich.

Spreading Iranian cyber attacks hit Israeli military, US financial and Gulf oil targets

A week ago, on Oct. 6, an unmanned Iranian aerial vehicle with stealth attributes breached Israeli air space. By eluding Israel’s radar, the UAV exposed serious gaps in its air defenses. Thursday, Oct. 11, Hizballah’s Hassan Nasrallah admitting the drone had come from Lebanon, promised it would not be the last. He seemed to be mocking Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his reliance on strong border fences to keep Israel safe.

A week went by and Saturday, Oct. 13, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) website quoted its chief, Lt. Gen. Ali Jabari as stating that his naval and missile forces are on “strategic deterrent readiness” – a novel term just invented by the Islamic Republic. He spoke Friday at an army base in Khorrasan, during a tour with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Iranian general hinted that the Iranian-Hizballah drone had been able to come close to Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona.

Both admissions that Iran and Hizballah were conducting military cyber warfare on Israel were tinged with contempt, arising from the certainty that Israel would not retaliate for the UAV’s invasion any more than it had responded to the posting of thousands of Iranian elite Al Qods troops just across its Syrian and Lebanese borders.

False Flag or First Strike

Although the social media is starting to promote civil unrest if Obama loses the election, the consequences of such civil unrest are not being discussed. At least not in the open. Our nation has been purposefully divided to weaken us from domestic enemies. We could blame Obama, but the truth is that the massive spending, diversity (opposite of unity) and corruption in Washington, D.C. have been occurring for a much longer period of time. As has our apathy.

How will moral people react in a world without the rule of law? We are starting to find out. Does your tribe (or member of your tribe) have a kill list already prepared? This is a good indication that morality is not a central tenet in your group or in this person. Rationalizing murder will not be a valid excuse on Judgment Day. And it will not be the first step in rebuilding a strong foundation for our future at any level.

What is the answer? Continue reading
