A Choice of Conscience

I’ve really been struggling internally with all the attention the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates are generating. It makes me angry that Americans can’t see that they are like little pawns being used in a game. The social networks are a buzz with all the latest debate gossip and people are just glued to their television sets. I’m glad I cancelled our TV reception a couple of years ago, so I don’t have the option. I suppose people are wanting to educate themselves about these two candidates they’ve been presented with by the ruling parties. And I suppose that’s a good thing, I guess. But if you’re going to spend your time participating in this wicked, no rules system of usurpation, wouldn’t it have been a much better idea to put some attention to politics back when there was a viable candidate running who actually spent his entire political career on a foundation which fully supported and upheld the Constitution?

Americans today resemble a frog in a hot pot of water. Not only are they slow to react to the increasing heat, they just don’t seem to care enough to get the heck out of the pot! Not only this, but they’re actually kind of entertained by the bubbles and steam which slowly envelop their fat little bodies!

The Rich Get Richer Explained

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA_glFb0oWs

From Zerohedge:

In an attempt to break the now ubiquitous narrative that “it’s all about income tax rates”, and to challenge the ridiculous new support for QEternity; ‘The Bears’ that brought you ‘The Bernank’ are back. In this cartoon, they explain how the bailouts made people like Warren Buffett far wealthier than they should be and exposes who actually benefits from all this QE. The Bears, The Buff-ate, and The Bernank – simply perfect.

IDF on guard for Iranian-Hizballah drones from Palestinian Gaza

Remains of the Iranian drone downed by Israel

The Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah’s threat Thursday night of more UAV’s over Israel aroused concern in the Israeli high command that Iranian drones had been smuggled into the hands of the Palestinian Hamas extremists ruling the Gaza Strip. He implied that Tehran or Hizballah might ask Hamas to release them over Israel, possibly in coordination with UAV intrusions from Lebanon.
After rolling out Hizballah statistics claiming Israel had violated Lebanese airspace 20, 864 times (!), Nasrallah said in his televised speech: “This is our natural right and we will send them whenever we want and this will not be the last time.”

The successful penetration of two Iranian stealth drones – one from the Gaza Strip and one from Lebanon – would be celebrated in Tehran and Beirut as a major feat against the Zionist enemy, say DEBKAfile’s military sources – especially after last Saturday, Oct. 6, when an Iranian UAV, which Nasrallah named “Ayyoub,” managed to fly over strategic Israeli sites including the nuclear reactor in Dimona before it was brought down.

Israeli surveillance has noted unusual Hamas activity of late to camouflage certain sites in the Gaza Strip, raising the suspicion that Hamas or the Iranian-backed Jihad Islami had taken delivery of a drone, drones or the disassembled components thereof.

Dick Morris: In second term, Obama will allow UN to tax Americans

10082012obama_opinion.jpg

It should come as no surprise that President Obama will raise taxes if he is re-elected.  But here’s the shocker: He will invite the United Nations to tax Americans directly.  And the proceeds would go directly to the Third World.  In this way, Barack Obama will, indeed, realize the dreams of his father.

In our new book, “Here Come the Black Helicopters: UN Global Governance and the Loss of Freedom,” Eileen and I describe how there is now pending in the U.N. all kinds of plans to tax Americans and redistribute their wealth – not to other Americans – but to other countries.  These taxes will not be like our U.N. dues paid by a vote of our Congress.  Nor akin to foreign aid which we choose to give.  They would be mandatory levies imposed by treaty on American citizens.  And, since they would be enumerated in a Treaty – not an act of Congress —  only the president and the Democratic Senate need be on board.  The Republican House has no role in the Treaty-making process.

No Joe, I Am Not Laughing

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

Here are some reflections I have after watching the debate:

1. The moderator quickly lost control of the debate. There was no equitable answer and rebuttal format; there were whims of her “experience” as a foreign correspondent.

2. Biden interrupted Ryan 82 times: annoying, condescending and arrogant. These traits are the hallmark of this administration.

3. Ryan missed the opportunity to explain how the job force has been reduced since this administration took over and spent over $5 trillion in excess of revenue. If the job force was measured using the same number as when Obama took office, the U3 unemployment rate would be 11.4%. I have to ask why Ryan did not address this obvious failure of both the executive and legislative branches.

4. Biden’s coverup answers to the Benghazi assault still tow the administration’s line that they had bad intelligence. This incredible assertion comes right after state department employees refute this obvious attempt to once again shift blame for the administration’s failures.

5. Ryan should have asked the moderator when she was going to start doing her job.

US Foreign Policy in Shambles at All Levels

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLV_vCnfdIM

One incident in Benghazi may become the focal point in this presidential election.

It is not about the tragedy of four Americans killed by a massive terrorist attack. It is about the subsequent coverup, shifting blame and yet another example of our nation’s failed foreign policy under this administration. There is no doubt that Obama lied to the American public and the world at his UN speech where he shifted blame to a YouTube video. There is no doubt as we head into World War III, this administration has decided to ally itself with the Muslim Brotherhood. There is no doubt that this administration has distanced itself from Israel and done irreparable harm to this ally. There is no doubt that our federal government does not have the answers, courage or morality to fix the problems created by their own corruption.

Never has evil been so clearly evident in America.  Do we have the courage to stand up for children?
