Complete Eurocrisis Summary

From Zerohedge.com:

Confused by the latest developments, headlines, stories, counterstories, denials, counterdenials and rumors, but mostly prayers out of Europe? Here is your one stop shop of everything that has transpired in the Eurocrisis most recently.

Mostly via Citi:

  • According to Bloomberg, Merkel hardened her opposition to joint debt sharing in the euro region as President Barack Obama singled out Europe’s leaders for not doing enough to arrest the financial crisis: “under no circumstances” would she agree to Germany-backed euro bonds. Some “come along and ask for euro bonds, saying all we need are equal interest rates and everything will turn out all right,” Merkel said in a speech to members of her Christian Democratic Union in Berlin yesterday. Instead, what’s needed is an economic overhaul to tackle the lack of competitiveness in Europe, she said.
  • Dow Jones reports Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy saying that solutions for the Eurozone crisis will start to be found soon. “Spain is a factor in this situation, but one of many… I have good reasons to say that these problems of the monetary union are going to start to be solved in not very much time,” he said in a televised speech. To Protect and Serve the Unions, Not the Constitution

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3s4R4b-k74

The above video shows what the police will do when a decision needs to be made concerning free speech under the constitution or supporting labor unions and political parties.

From page 7 of the Town of Madison’s Police Department Policy Manual:

I, ______________________, who have been appointed to the office of Police Officer swear that I will support the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Wisconsin, and will faithfully discharge the duties of said office to the best of my ability. So help me God.

What the END looks like…

Race and religion riots growing across Europe, while the power grid in Greece is poised to fail, that’s what it looks like this weekend.

(Digital Journal)  In May Digital Journal reported riots broke out in the German city of Bonn between the far-right  Pro NRW party and Germany’s Salafists, leading to an Islamist calling for the  death of Pro NRW party members.  The economic crisis spreading across  Europe, coupled with the increase in immigration, has led to a burgeoning growth  of far-right populism in France, Greece, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the  Netherlands,  Denmark, Switzerland, Hungary and Austria. Putin’s Power Play: Turkey Switches Allegiance to Russia and Israel Faces New Missile Threat

Putin has decided not to wait for Obama to be reelected to pull his strings. Putin is starting to consolidate his plans in the Middle East now that Obama has been shown to be incapable of understanding his true position in the world. Once Obama was willing to give Russia control of Syria in exchange for Assad’s removal, Obama’s flexibility emboldened Putin to solidify Russian support for Syria and have Turkey come out of the closet with their support. This switch of allegiance is the beginning of the overt consolidation of the Middle East for a new Caliphate with Russian support. As the noose begins to tighten around Israel’s neck, our president has betrayed not only our national security, but Israel’s as well.

Welcome The Collapse… it has arrived

As I have said, we are already off the cliff… Obama, Bernanke, and the rest of the magicians are just doing everything in their power to extend the “Wile-E-Coyote moment”… this analogy has full follow-through: we will indeed crash and see stars for a while, but we will recover to chase the Road Runner of prosperity another day. The Green Lantern rebooted as gay

The Green Lantern, one of DC Comics' most popular and instantly recognisable superheroes, will be revealed as homosexual in a forthcoming issue, it has been announced.

And I thought DC was going to make Oliver Queen (The Green Arrow) their new poster child for homosexuality. At least I got the “Green” part right.

Florida’s voter purge targets 91-year-old decorated WWII vet

From the Daily Kos:

Bill Internicola was born in Brooklyn 91 years ago. He fought in World War II in the Battle of the Bulge, and his war service earned him a Bronze Star. And this happened to him.

Three weeks ago, Bill received a letter from Broward County Florida stating “[Y]ou are not a U.S. Citizen” and therefore, ineligible to vote. He was given the option of requesting “a hearing with the Supervisor of Elections, for the purpose of providing proof that you are a United States citizens” or forfeit his right to vote.

The above example is typical of the media: find someone to make your case that fits your agenda instead of the facts. Every citizen of the united States should be allowed to vote. Without restriction or duress. However, voter fraud is rampant in this country. There is no difference if I am not allowed to vote or if I vote once but someone else votes twice. The Democrats want the status quo to steal elections and the Republicans want it for a campaign issue. I want justice and the rule of law: it appears that neither political party agrees with my sentiment.

And yes I meant “united States”.

Stewart Rhodes (Oath Keepers Founder), Ann Barnhardt, and Mitt Romney on the Constitution

Stewart Rhodes gave a speech on the NDAA and its consequences at the North Carolina General Assembly on May 30, 2012. Mr. Rhodes is the founder of Oath Keepers.

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of current and formerly serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution.

Mr. Rhodes gives a history of earlier Constitutional abuses under Lincoln and FDR to compare our current state where the government is acting illegally against the people and the rule of law. Since he outlined this point clearly in his speech, I asked a simple question: At what point will people who have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution actually defend it?  Continue reading

European Bank Runs on the Horizon According to Top Economic Official for the European Commission

The news concerning the collapse of the Euro and the Euro zone has been non-stop. After 21 Greek bailouts, you would think that the boy who cried wolf would be ignored. Well, actually the world’s economic community has ignored the warning signs for the European contagion that is about to become a pandemic. Olli Rehn is the top economic official for the European Commission. When he comes out with a warning that stronger measures need to be done to prevent bank runs, it is time for the world to listen. This is no longer a case where governments are posturing for more time and money. When the Euro collapses, the US will follow within five banking days.

Bobby Meeks:The Kick Ass Song

“You Ain’t Gonna Touch This Wall”      AKA – “The Kick Ass Song”

I”m posting this Standard version of my song to portray my anger at Obama setting foot in this location on Memorial Day 2012 and stopping Veterans, their families, and other loved ones for over 7 hours from being able to do what they came from across the country to do on this special day for nothing more than a photo-op and an reelection speech. The Wall was built and paid for by Vietnam Veterans. This is not Obama’s Wall!

The nickname for this song became “The Kick Ass Song” very rapidly and you will see why. Continue reading

Socialism Is Not Compatible with Christianity

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG0x3NsCw3Y#!

From YouTube:

Fr. Andrew was invited to lead the opening prayer at the 2012 Colorado Republican State Assembly and Convention in the Magness Arena at the University of Denver. The moral challenges facing our country are not caused by political affiliation, but rather by attacks on religious freedom. He invites all people of conscience to uphold religious freedom.

Breaking news: Link found between NC HB489 fiasco and Attorney General Roy Cooper

View PostOnce upon a time our current Democrat Attorney General, Roy Cooper, co-wrote a lengthy book on North Carolina firearm laws.   That ponderous tome contains this little nugget:

“It is also a misdemeanor under North Carolina law for a person to transport or possess, off his or her own premises, a dangerous weapon in an area during a declared state of emergency, or in the vicinity of a riot. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-288.7 A concealed handgun permit does not allow a permittee to carry a weapon in these areas. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-415.11(c)”

While the ban on carrying a weapon during a declared state of emergency has been on the books of the State of North Carolina since the dark days of the late 1960’s, Roy Cooper was a full supporter.  He was a named defendant in Bateman v. Perdue, in which the state of emergency ban went down in flames.

Recently an unnamed staffer gutted an existing bill, HB469, which was originally an update to North Carolina’s  mechanic’s lien statutes and replaced it with text much like the struck down emergency powers gun ban.  The original bill had been voted on and passed by the NC House.  After the change in wording the bill was submitted to the NC Senate Judiciary committee.

That would take someone in a unique position in order to pull something like that off. Continue reading
