Not So Fast, Iran May Have to Wait Its Turn

The United States may initiate another “right to protect” kinetic action in Syria before addressing the Iran nuclear threat.  The Washington Post is reporting on the new revelation of Syrian weapons of mass destruction crafted by Hillary Clinton:

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and the nation’s top military leader delivered a sober assessment Wednesday of Syria’s sophisticated air defenses and its extensive stockpile of chemical weapons in a strategic reality check to the demand for U.S. military action to end President Bashar Assad’s deadly crackdown on his people.

Russia Today has a similar article concerning Syria’s arsenal falling to “the wrong hands”. But this was written in  August, 2011. John McCain is calling for a war on Syria on the floor of the senate after the Muslim Brotherhood forces have been severely marginalized. So why now? After Assad has taken back control, 7500 “rebels” have been killed and the United Nations is once again shown to be impotent? Does Leon Panetta want an excuse to eliminate Tartus and the Russian surveillance system? Or is this simply another subterfuge to misdirect our attention from Iran, gas prices, inflation, etc.

And That Is How the President Relegates Congressional Approval to the Dumpster

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zNwOeyuG84

From YouTube:

WASHINGTON, March 7—Under question from Sen. Sessions at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing today, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey indicated that “international permission,” rather than Congressional approval, provided a ‘legal basis’ for military action by the United States.

International permission serving as a legal basis for military action instead of Congressional approval. Looks like “One World Order” has replaced the Constitution. Which war will be next: Syria, Iran or North Korea?

To Fight and Fight Hard

I know Super Tuesday yielded some answers for some people, but one must really understand the problem. Politics are a non issue. The Tea Party addressed the political solution and they will again, but there is a timeline at work here. There are two things one cannot get around, the passage of time and simple mathematics. They are inviolable.

I know that you all know the issues as well as I do, but I will indulge myself to explain the sheer practical issues before us and why we must act.

I met a little boy the other day, Josiah, who was 3 and bright, articulate and loved the freedom only a 3 year-old can know. His world was simple, go out and get a deer. Find it, kill it and eat it. Simple. It is boys like Josiah that we are fighting for, so they don’t have to grow up in a world filled with rules and regulations that stifle their imagination and creativity.

Obama Has Now Stepped in It

President Obama has made it clear this week that he will not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. It is now becoming evident that Iran has developed nuclear explosive devices according to the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency. This breaking news on the Jerusalem Post will have interesting consequences after the meeting this week between Obama and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both leaders agreed that a nuclear armed Iran will be cause for preemptive military operations.

According to Foxnews, Iran is trying to attempting to cleanup up radioactive traces:

Satellite images of an Iranian military facility appear to show trucks and earth-moving vehicles at the site, indicating an attempted cleanup radioactive traces possibly left by tests of a nuclear-weapon trigger, diplomats told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

As we near the one year anniversary of the nuclear meltdowns of power plants in Japan caused by tsunamis, it appears that another nuclear event may be on the horizon.

Capitalism is an alternative for what we have now

This video outlines why our savings and retirement are being stolen by the Federal Reserve and stock market manipulation. Why have we accepted the premise that “resistance is futile” so easily?

Anonymous Takes on The Lord’s Resistance Army

From the description on YouTube:

TRANSCRIPT
________________

To the citizens of the world.
We are Anonymous.

We’ve been recently bombarded with requests from many people to address the Invisible Children’s movement and their campaign titled Kony twenty twelve. Their campaign is an attempt to expose Joseph Kony and make him famous throughout the world. Joseph Kony, a man from Uganda, has been kidnapping children for over twenty years, forcing them to join his army of terror. These kids are not only forced to kill others, they’re forced to kill their own parents as well. The girls who are taken are used as Kony’s sex slaves.

Ninety percent of Joseph Kony’s army are children. Over 30,000 of them are forced to fight a war just to protect Kony’s power.

What Kind of Morals and Values Is Mr. Obama Giving His Daughters?

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yjIrOt4BK4

The president addressed Rush Limbaugh’s comments on the morality of Sandra Fluke in the above video. I would like to submit that all decent folks in America agree that the life style as described personally by Ms. Fluke is not a source of pride.  And as a father, I would never compare my children’s possible future actions to that of Ms. Fluke. Why would the president justify her actions in a public venue and include his own daughters as part of this justification?

Remember the following speech concerning the possible mistake of one of his daughters being punished with a baby:

Is it too much to ask Mr. Obama that he at least understands that he was elected to be the president of the United States which is a republic? Continue reading

President Obama Wishes Mitt Romney Good Luck in the Primaries

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl38ZGzQi98

President Obama wished Mitt Romney good luck in the Super Tuesday primaries at a press conference on March 6, 2012. Really. I believe him since the president’s platform on health care legislation could not credibly be attacked in the election process if Mitt wins the Republican nomination. Governor Romney’s healthcare legislation in Massachusetts was the original precursor for Obamacare.

Let’s play a scenario between the two candidates in a presidential debate:

Media Correspondent:

Governor Romney, explain the differences between your health care legislation and national health care legislation. Continue reading

Jason Young Found Guilty of Pregnant Wife’s Death

Jason Young was found guilty today in Raleigh of murdering his pregnant wife five years ago. The first trial ended in a mistrial and the second trial’s verdict of first degree murder will hopefully give Michelle Young’s family some closure.

David DeGerolamo

From WRAL.com in Raleigh:

Jason Young, who did not address the court, showed no emotion and sat expressionless as Superior Court Judge Stephens read the verdict to a packed courtroom.

Michelle Young’s family, meanwhile, cried and hugged one another. They declined to comment on the verdict, saying only that they were “happy that justice has been served.”
