The following videos outline the first wave of the Jasmine Revolution in North Carolina. Most people do not realize that SEANC  is controlled by SEIU. Forty-two percent of the state’s 130,000 union members are represented by SEANC. Although I never could understand why a public sector employee needs a union to protect them from the government, it is another means to siphon off money and resources from our economy to support corruption and intimidation. You can decide for yourself whether the issue is collective bargaining or the beginnings of bottom up terrorism.

Just Keep Voting for Insanity

Most of us know the following definition by Albert Einstein:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. 

Glenn Beck used this as an analogy in his book “Common Sense” as a justification for a third party. His point was that we keep voting for the other party to fix the country’s problems. This logic was justified in 2010 when the Republican Party retook the US House and the NC General Assembly. An example of how the GOP is living up to their election promises is shown below.

Looking for a Cause

The February 21st SEIU bus tour supporting labor unions in Wisconsin brought out an interesting point at the Raleigh site. Like most organizations with no set purpose or leadership, the speakers needed a cause to justify their continued existence. They settled on the state statue that collective bargaining is illegal in North Carolina.

Consequences of Government without Accountability

North Carolina currently has a budget deficit of $3.7 billion and owes the federal government another $2.6 billion in unemployment benefit borrowing. We can thank Gov. Perdue’s eagerness for this debt: it is a direct consequence for taking stimulus money from the Federal government. I could have lived quite well if North Carolina had not received stimulus (or rather extortion) money. Now we find out that over 3/4 of a billion dollars not only been lost from securities lending activities, it has been covered up for almost a year. Until accountability is restored in government, we will never be able to achieve an economic recovery.

Default of the Government Schools

What industry can sustain 25% failure rate and still exist?  The average graduation rate across the country in our government schools is 75%.  In cities like Detroit (21.7%), New York City (38.9%), Baltimore (38.5%), and Milwaukee, where teachers are protesting (43.1%), it is much less.  This was from USA Today, 2006.  I can guarantee these figures have not improved and are most likely higher five years later.  And yet our governments continue to toss our money recklessly at the schools because people like those in Wisconsin scream the loudest.  The figures for per pupil expenditures are skewed by those people as well.  They claim, for instance, that cost per pupil in NYC was $13,755 per pupil.  My math tells me that I divide the total school budget by the total number of students.  This produces a figure of $18,340.  Even at that there are monies hidden. According to the Cato Institute, the average cost per pupil in this country is $25,000.  Nowhere will you ever see that high a figure shown in the MSM.  Also, the Cato Institute shows that government schools spend 97% more than do private schools.  In my district it is much higher than that.  For example, Bethel Christian Academy in Canton, NC, educates students for $4900 per pupil and they graduate 100% of their students!  Haywood County Schools spend $18,000 per pupil.

Workers’ Rights Are Human Rights

What a productive way to spend a day by standing right in front of a crowd of people chanting “Workers’ Rights Are Human Rights”. However, this enlightening experience continued as the speaker in the following video explained why North Carolina must satisfy the right of everyone to an education whether they are legal or not.

North Carolina Is Out of Compliance with International Law

The following video outlines the viewpoint of real democracy voiced at the SEIU bus tour in Raleigh, NC on February, 2011. The speaker’s contention that North Carolina is out of compliance with international law since collective bargaining is illegal in our state shows their support for One World Order. His reference to Jim Crow laws is strange since these laws were a direct consequence of the Wilmington Insurrection in 1898 that established the Democrat party’s dominance in our state until just last year.

Rev. Barber Outlines the People’s Budget

The Rev. Barber headlined the SEIU bus tour supporting the Wisconsin unions in Raleigh on February 21st, 2011. You can hear the counter protesters in the background of his speech voicing their opposition to an assault on our freedom.

3% vs 47%

During the course of the Revolutionary War, approximately 3% of the colonial population was actively engaged in the fight for their freedom. This small number has always been a source of inspiration to show how passion can achieve great results. Many people in our country today reference this figure as the “three percenters” who are modern day patriots fighting to maintain our freedom. I believe this is a fight to regain our freedom since the federal government no longer represents the people and the fruits of our labor are being stolen for social engineering. The founding fathers never intended a tax burden of over 50% on the people who are productive.

What Happens When the Banks Close Their Doors?

The following articles dealing with banks are all less than three weeks old. While we are focusing on the emergence of “Democracy” in Egypt, a global financial collapse is ignored and our stock market seems to be unstoppable even though the daily trading volume is less than half what it was in 2008. Spain, Portugal, Italy and Iceland banks were not included below since their bank crisis is well documented. I included Ireland to show the relationship between bank failures and elections. A Last Stand for Fiscal Responsibility Collapses

The following excerpts from Bloomberg Businessweek outlines what happens when unions are asked to take a cut in benefits:

 Thousands of teachers, students and prison guards descended on the Wisconsin Capitol on Wednesday to fight a move to strip government workers of union rights in the first state to grant them more than a half-century ago, but Republican leaders said the changes they sought would not be made.

The Statehouse filled with as many as 10,000 demonstrators who chanted, sang the national anthem and beat drums for hours in demonstrations unlike any seen in Madison in decades. The noise in the rotunda rose to the level of a chainsaw, and many Madison teachers joined the protest by calling in sick in such numbers that the district — the state’s second-largest — had to cancel classes.

Making Government More Efficient or More Socialist?

Thom Tillis is proposing a cap of 10 public bills on the members of the North Carolina’s Representative for each session as outlined in the following article:

Members of the North Carolina House of Representatives will be allowed to introduce no more than 10 “public” bills each this session. House Speaker Thom Tillis, R-Mecklenburg, proposed the cap with the intention of making government more efficient, but at least one of his fellow Republicans is concerned. In an interview last week with Carolina Journal, Tillis said the cap would force members to communicate, collaborate, and eliminate bill duplication.
