First Republic Shares are halted for volatility having collapsed 25% back to record lows as hopes of a ‘private’ deal fade

The question now is simple – will they make it to the close without the FDIC stepping in?

Bear in mind that the ‘Big Banks’ have $30 billion in deposits at the embattled bank… so the FDIC has a problem already.

Finally, First Republic Bank’s membership in the S&P 500 Index could be in jeopardy after the troubled bank’s stock set a new all-time low on Wednesday that briefly pushed its market capitalization below $1 billion.

Even those who were taught common core math know that a $30 billion debt to the “Big Banks” is a problem when the debtor bank’s market capitalization is not even $1 billion.

City Of Asheville Trapped In Crime Crisis, Prepares To Impose 60-Day ‘Safety Initiative’

The City of Asheville, situated in North Carolina, is facing severe challenges due to soaring crime and a dwindling police force in the aftermath of the 2020 George Floyd murder, which sparked the nationwide ‘defund the police’ movement. In response to the rampant lawlessness, city officials have declared an emergency plan, beginning next week and lasting for two months, to tackle the crime wave.

“There are complex circumstances contributing to the safety issues that Asheville is currently seeing downtown, and it will take a community response to address these complexities,” the city stated in a press release

Next Monday, city officials are rolling out a 60-day initiative to address safety downtown:

Dr. Robert Malone: “The No Asshole Rule”

In 2007, Dr. Robert Sutton wrote the classic book titled “The No Asshole Rule: Building a Civilized Workplace and Surviving One That Isn’t”. It can all be summed up in a few simple statements. Basically, avoid assholes at all costs, no matter how rich or powerful they might be. That being around an asshole is contagious. That chronic exposure to such nastiness will eventually rub off.

Because such behavior is an “emotional contagion” – the odds are that if a company hires assholes, the corporate culture will become toxic. If a corporate culture becomes toxic due to assholes, it can be very difficult if not impossible to change.

Unfortunately, the “no asshole rule” falls down somewhat on social media. We can’t fire the trolls and disagreeable personality types. On twitter and other spaces, the internet “bullies, creeps, jerks, tyrants, tormentors, despots, backstabbers and egomaniacs” abound. Even worse, they can behave in this way and build an audience as well as make money by attacking others. This feeds into a mob mentality, where many people get their little dopamine hit by participating in various on-line “stonings”. They allow their inner asshole to come out, and have found a certain perverse and evil power through these interactions.

I think everyone has witnessed someone getting attacked by a mob on social media. It is no fun. It is hard not to want to strike back.

This is why I don’t tolerate assholes on the comments section of these Substack essays. This is one place on the internet that I can control. Note – I can’t say for sure how many people I have “unsubscribed.” However, I have been writing this Substack for almost 1.5 years, and the number is less than ten people. By not allowing assholes to make comments, I have not had a contagion issue.

Thoughts on the Collapse of the Dollar

I was reviewing the comments on SP1’s latest video concerning the collapse of the dollar. I see both viewpoints and wanted to clarify my personal thoughts on the collapse of the dollar.

  1. I do not see a future where the US petrodollar has not collapsed. As SP1 points out, get rid of your federal reserve notes now by converting them to something that is barterable or necessary in the future. You already know the list of what will be necessary.
  2. As I have written previously, dedollarization is the new buzz word and we are already watching the collapse of the dollar in real time.
  3. People are taking money out of the banks and converting their assets to bitcoin, precious metals and other goods that will have value after the dollar’s collapse. The banking crisis still exists (First Republic as the current example) and the media suppression of it should cause everyone concern.
  4. Yuan Overtakes Dollar as China’s Most Used Cross-Border Currency

Does the collapse of our dollar make me happy? Does the prospect of a nuclear war make me happy? Of course not but let’s consider the following?

Can Americans fight evil and regain their Liberty without the collapse of the illegal US government? A necessary condition for rebuilding a moral nation under God is the collapse of the dollar. Let that sink in and then consider who is most responsible for the devaluation of the dollar and its use as an economic weapon. Weapons used in war are only good if they are working and therefore have value.

If we know that the US dollar will collapse as part of the future war against evil, maybe we should consider this “collateral damage” in order to be free. In that case, I will be happy.

I remember one of Brock Townsend’s early PATCONs where I presented a case against the Bank of America. I outlined the scenario where a large amount of people removed their money causing the bank to collapse. Obviously it did not happen then but the collapse of SVB showed it is possible to do this. Some in the audience were “not happy” as they realized an economic collapse would impact their pension and social security payments. When they pointed this out, people quickly understood the unspoken question: is a pension or social security worth the loss of Liberty? We have no need of Sunshine Patriots in the future (or ever).

Maybe we should be happy when the dollar collapses since it is inevitable and a necessary step to regain Liberty in the war to defeat evil. So let’s not consider SP1’s statement of being happy as much as understanding we know it is coming and we should prepare accordingly.

‘Just Say You’re Gay’: Border Agents Say Migrants Would Abuse Dems’ Proposal To Not Detain LGBTQ Migrants

  • Four Border Patrol agents who spoke to the Daily Caller News Foundation believe that a recently proposed bill by Democrats in Congress will lead to migrants falsely claiming to be members of the LGBTQ community as a ticket into the country.
  • Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Democratic Rep. Adam Smith of Washington introduced the bill Thursday to limit immigration detention.
  • “Someone told them in essence ‘just say you’re gay,’” the third agent said, adding “I think it’s a joke. No one gets special treatment down here. They are all breaking the law and have to go through detainment and processing just like anyone else.”

A bill congressional Democrats are proposing that would force immigration authorities to release migrants who say they’re part of the LGBTQ community would be ripe for fraud and abuse, four Border Patrol agents, who requested anonymity because they’re not authorized to speak publicly, told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act, which was introduced by Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Democratic Rep. Adam Smith of Washington, would force federal authorities to not detain “vulnerable” migrants, including those who claim to be LGBTQ, according to the text of the bill. The four border agents, who all work along the southern border with Mexico, believe that migrants are likely to see this as a new opportunity to get released into the country and will lie about their sexuality or gender to do so, they told the DCNF.

“I’ve only seen a handful of LGBTQ [migrants], but if this is passed I guarantee everyone is going to be LGBTQ,” one agent told the DCNF.

The bill would “create a presumption of release and impose a higher burden of proof to detain primary caregivers and vulnerable populations, including asylum seekers, pregnant women, LGBTQ individuals, survivors of torture or gender-based violence, and people under age 21,” the congressmembers said in a joint statement April 20. The latest version is Democrats’ effort to reintroduce what they tried to pass in the last Congress when they held a majority in both chambers.

The text of the bill states that the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is the only authority that can make an exception to choose to keep an LGBTQ migrant in detention.

The Path to Homeownership for Veterans

Image via Pexels

Being a veteran can open the door to many unique opportunities, including the possibility of becoming a homeowner. Are you ready to take advantage of VA Home Loans benefits and finally purchase your dream home? Here’s a guide on how to make homeownership a reality as a veteran.

VA Home Loans Benefits

The first step is to determine if you are eligible for VA Home Loans benefits. To qualify, you must have served at least 90 days of active duty during wartime or 181 days during peacetime and be discharged with an honorable discharge status. If you meet these requirements, then you may be eligible for some of the advantages associated with VA Home Loans, such as no down payment and no mortgage insurance premiums.

COE Through the VA

Once you have determined eligibility, it is time to apply for your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) by visiting the Department of Veterans Affairs website or calling 1-800-827-1000. This document will provide proof that you are eligible for VA Home Loans benefits. It is important to note that when applying, be prepared to show proof of service, such as your DD214 form or other documents requested by the VA.

Qualified VA Lender

Finding the right lender is key when taking advantage of veterans’ loans. Make sure that any lender you are considering is qualified and experienced in handling veterans’ loans. Talk to several lenders before deciding on one. Ask questions like what types of veterans’ loan products they offer and their interest rates so that you can find one that meets your needs and budget.

Pre-Approval Letter

A pre-approval letter assures sellers of your financial capability to purchase their property, putting them at ease during negotiations. This letter also helps you identify your price range to avoid any financial surprises and stay within your budget. With a pre-approval letter, all parties involved in the buying or selling process can make informed decisions with confidence.

Interest Rates

To maximize the benefits of veterans’ loans, it’s crucial to assess all options available, including interest rates and special features like no down payment. Consider comparing rates and features from different lenders to pinpoint the one that caters to veteran loans with competitive rates and tailored features. Shop smartly to enjoy the full advantages of veterans’ loans.

Online Resources

Online resources are helpful in understanding loan products when it comes to buying or selling processes related to veterans’ loans. These resources can provide information on closing costs and fees associated with a particular loan product. Being aware of the financing options available can help ensure a smooth transition from start to finish without added stress.

Home Shopping

After getting preapproved and learning about various loan products, the next step is to start searching for homes. Working with a real estate agent familiar with the area can help narrow down the search and provide insight into local market conditions. It is important to consider all factors before making a decision regarding a home purchase or investment.

Real Estate Agent

Hiring a real estate agent can provide the necessary support and guidance to navigate the complexity of real estate purchasing. This is especially important for veterans, as there are many different programs and loan products specifically offered for them. With the help of an experienced negotiator, the chances of finding the perfect home and sealing the deal increase substantially.

If you’re a veteran or an active-duty service member, you may qualify for the Veteran Affairs Home Loan Benefits Program, which can make it easier for you to purchase a home. This program offers benefits such as no down payment or mortgage insurance requirements, making it a more accessible option for those who qualify. By doing your research and using the guide provided, you can make informed decisions every step of the way and get closer to owning your dream home sooner rather than later.

Creation of a Constitutional Republic

In the Colonial Era, America’s Founders were aware of two types of republics. As they later discovered, neither was suitable for the vision they held of a free people under fixed law. The two republics they most closely observed were a unitary parliamentary republic and a confederated republic.

A Unitary parliamentary republic is a single unit or state composed of a legislative or parliamentary body that is supreme over the government of the entire nation. This type of republic was just starting to emerge in Great Britain during the Colonial Era by reducing the autocratic powers of the king and forcing him to share his power with the Parliament. However, the people did not gain the advantages they had expected because the Parliament then became supreme and, to some extent, autocratic. America’s Founders had already ruled out ‘legislative supremacy’ because it generally ended in tyranny over the people.

A Confederated Republic, also known as the confederation of independent states, is a system where each state retains its independence and sovereign supremacy, but bands together with other states for mutual defense and certain other advantages. This type of republic does not have legislative supremacy, but rather ‘state supremacy.’ The founders patterned the Articles of Confederation after this type of republic and almost lost the Revolutionary War because of it.

The American Republic Emerges

Realizing that a unitary republic had significant weaknesses as well, a convention of the states was finally agreed upon in 1787 to work out the problem areas in the Articles of Confederation. The goal was to figure out how to strengthen the union between the states and at the same time retain the right of the people to self-govern. To accomplish this, they had to go through four steps as outlined in The Making of America:

  1. “Clearly enunciate the fundamental principle that the power to govern rests in the people. (This was done in the first two paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence.)
  2. “Although serving as delegates appointed by the state legislatures, they had to propose a government that would not become operative unless approved by the people.
  3. “To achieve this, they proposed to send the constitutional draft back to the Congress, and if it was approved by them, to have it submitted to the ratifying conventions elected by the people (not the legislatures) in each of the states.
  4. “When ratified, the Constitution would become the voice of the people (not the confederated sovereign states) and would thereby make the voice of the people the supreme law of the land.

“The Founders structured the Constitution so that the doctrines of legislative supremacy (as applied in England) and state supremacy (as applied to the Netherlands, Germany, and the American Articles of Confederation) would be replaced by the doctrine of ‘constitutional supremacy,’ a brand-new invention.” (The Making of America, pp. 167, 175)

During the ratifying conventions, Madison offered a concise definition of a republic:

“We may define a republic to be … a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people, and is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure for a limited period, or during good behavior. It is essential to such a government that it be derived from the great body of the society, not from an inconsiderable proportion or a favored class of it; otherwise a handful of tyrannical nobles, exercising their oppressions by a delegation of their powers, might aspire to the rank of republicans and claim for their government the honorable title of republic.” (The 5000 Year Leap, p. 155)

Only under a Constitutional Republic do the people enjoy the full right of self-rule. The privilege of self-rule has not been had by many people throughout the entire history of the world. Americans should consider themselves an especially blessed people.

THE REAL REASON

Posted in Editorial | 2 Comments

Question: Why is there no middle ground in online discussion? Why is everyone so radicalized now?

Jim Stone:

Short answer: Because the wheat is now being separated from the tares, and:

Revelation 3:16

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth.

I do not want to turn this site into the “bible bash” channel, but people need to be aware of this. Take a side now. Decide NOW. “radicalize” NOW. There is nothing at all wrong with being a radical, the left hates “right wing radicals” and will spew every obscenity against them, because it takes a “right wing radical” to counteract a “left wing radical” while the “lukewarm” have no impact on anything at all. Evil wants good to be “lukewarm”, and not stirred to action.

What is lukewarm? Most likely, as I see it anyway?

“Lukewarm” on the conservative side would be anyone unwilling to suffer great hardship in the name of God, and/or die for a cause. “Lukewarm” on the leftist side would be “Anyone unwilling to do an abortion, or sex change a 10 year old who’s clueless.” Anyone who would not inject someone with the death shot because their morals stopped them, but they are OK with a pile of other bad things.

It seems to me, from scripture, that God is most disgusted with the lukewarm who refused to take a side, floating in the middle of nowhere like a derilict waiting to be collided with and sink a ship. It is indeed the lukewarm that will sink the right, there are not enough radical leftists out there to “do the job” without mass complacency, perhaps their greatest asset.

I don’t know what to do at this point except preach, and that’s never been what this site is about. However, we are so far down the hellhole now that news is irrelevant, because it is already well proven that no one is going to stick their neck out and stop the madness.

I had hoped this web site would be my second to the last great work, but it is beginning to look like it will be my last great work (because all potential to go beyond this was destroyed) and after what I went through with security issues today I am questioning whether or not I will get what I need to rebuild and pull off one last great thing – helping people who fled the mark – providing “refuge in the wilderness”. I’ll probably be the one needing help at that time.

DO NOT let a leftist intimidate you in day to day life. “Lukewarm” is afraid of offending someone. When anyone who’s obviously serving the dark side attacks you or tries to lower you FIGHT BACK. Tell them they are a POS because they can’t figure out where a cock goes, or worse, they know and enjoy putting it where they damn well know it does not belong. Ditto for many many other leftist issues, including “reparations” from those who never owed, “redistribution of wealth” from hard workers to the worthless who COULD work but choose not to – forcing the mark of the beast, the whole 9 yards, including the vax – if any of them tell you you were crap for avoiding that shot, just haul off and say “I am not spiritually dead, obviously you are.” Spidey senses alone should have been enough to say NO, it should not have taken a magnet stick vid or blood clot vid.

Root in deep NOW. Spend whatever time is left rooting in deeper and deeper, to make good and sure the storm, which is no longer on the horizon, will not sweep you into the ditch. The twister is approaching, and “I think we’re going in”.

Now is NOT the time to be polite!
