When the world experienced an average of nearly 15,000 COVID deaths per day, Dr. Andrew Hill decided on the price of a human life. Dr. Hill made that calculation during a conversation with Dr. Tess Lawrie, in January of 2021, during the peak of the Winter Surge.

Do you ever feel like an alien in your own country? I used to love the flag. Would sing the Anthem at the top of my lungs at football games while I got cold chills up and down my back. Pride, man. I was so proud of my country. Then I started to read things that changed all that, and recognized the import of things already read. ‘My’ country, the Constitutional Republic followed by the CSA, was conquered and occupied by a foreign army. Still is occupied … by criminals, traitors, and collectivists. I recognized that the country in which I live is not the shinning city on a hill, but a corrupt, decadent, and depraved empire that cares not at all for its own people. It cannot in any way be considered a ‘nation’ since it has no single language, culture, religion, race, or defensible borders. It is the very antithesis of ‘united’.

I used to believe in democracy. I worked diligently in the Grand Old Party to advance free enterprise, limited government, and a strong national defense (not wars of empire). I was a county GOP chairman, a paid field representative in a US Senate campaign, volunteer in numerous campaigns, and faithful voter and cheerleader. Then ‘W’ came on the scene and with a Republican Congress and Senate grew the size of government more than any other administration in American history up to that point, lied us into wars, and gave us a Patriot Act that put the Bill of Rights on life support. Further experience taught me that the GOP was worse than the Democrats. At least the Dems told you what they were going to do. The GOP just stuck the shive in your back and behaves as little more than a speed bump to the destruction of all things good, and beautiful, and true. Turns out the powers that be select the nominees of both parties. Heads they win, tails you lose. Even if we were allowed free and fair elections (we’re not, obviously, reference 2020) 50.1% of imbeciles could/do rule the country. So much for our ‘democracy’. It’s been many years since I voted in Federal elections. Pointless, and it only encourages them.

I used to be a regular doctrinaire Christian. No need for ‘winks and nods’ for membership. The Trinity, Jesus is God, the cross (the Hebrew word is stake), burn in hell if you don’t walk the aisle, etc. was my reality. Then … books. Lots of books which led to … lots of questions and a rejection of orthodoxy. How many denominations? And if you choose the wrong one you fry? Why can’t Christians just agree to accept and abide by the teachings of Jesus without all the doctrines of men? Read church history, read the Bible tabula rasa, and one will likely join me in the ranks of heresy. Note: Please don’t get butt hurt over this. I’m in no way attempting to change anyone’s mind on religion or start a big argument. Paul said to work out your own salvation in fear and trembling. I’m just offering my confession here. You have your walk and I have mine. Hopefully they’re both productive.

Used to be … family. Mom, dad, kids. Dad was male, mom female, and kids one or the other based on the plumbing they were born with. Sodomites stayed in the closet where they belonged. No one taught CRT or encouraged kindergartners to learn how to fit a condom or question their gender. Boys bathrooms were for boys, girls for girls. Johnny played with toy guns and toy soldiers and Mary played with dolls. I learned about sex at thirteen years of age. Really. TV was ‘clean’ back then.

The military was for killing people and breaking things when someone invaded my country. OK, since the War of Northern Aggression that hasn’t been so (don’t give me Pearl Harbor, FDR knew the Japs were coming), but it should be. Even after, there was no room for anything that would interfere with mission readiness and capability. No ‘woke’ training. No females in combat. No throwing warriors out for refusing to take experimental drugs. Our generals didn’t plot and scheme against the Commander in Chief.

The family doctor was trusted above all others. He made house calls and really cared about your well being. If a hospital was necessary, same, same. Trusted and cared. Now they get paid to kill you. Profit trumps altruism every time. No profit in the cure, only in the treatment. Institutions of higher learning were buffets of ideas. Everything was open for discussion, elaboration, and debate. Now they’re just indoctrination centers for the Leftists and collectivists. Free speech was a thing. It really was.

Certainly the fiat currency and economy are looking to collapse due to unsustainable spending, debt, and interventions in places we have no business. Our masters have raped the system quite effectively. They now plot our demise with the survivors being limited to those who accept transhumanism and the extinction of we pure-bloods. It’s like I’ve stumbled into a dystopian dream. The only hope is to pray for either Divine intervention or that it all burn. Burn all the way to the ground and begin again. If the combined governments of the West, led by the United States, continue to prod the Bear, we may, indeed, see it all burn in the form of beautiful mushroom clouds.

Yeah, preaching to the choir, I know. It’s just … damn. I want to DO something to fix it and I feel … no, not feel … recognize that there’s nothing to be done, at least nothing over which I/we have any control. Sure, we can take up arms and … what? Who has a mission plan? Who has organization? Who do we shoot? OK, I admit I have a long list, but can’t get near any of them so what’s the point of the list? How does a group avoid informants and plants that ultimately get them all jailed or killed? I’m reminded of the Sioux warrior who, having lost his family, his tribe, and his land faced an oncoming troop of US cavalry. He calmly dismounted, jammed his lance into the ground, tied one leg to the lance with a length of buffalo sinew and took tomahawk in hand. He no longer wished to live in the alien world that had been forced upon him and so stood as a proud representative of his people to go down swinging. Perhaps our history will rhyme with his, either literally or metaphorically.

Like many of you, I wish I had an answer for what we are to do. It always seems to come back to prayer, training, and prepping. We are, as Tolstoy considered, all just pawns of history, along for the ride. We must await the right circumstance and opportunity. Patience, unfortunately, is a virtue I have far too little of, but I’m trying. A young Marine veteran of Iraq I know posted the following. I share his hopes.

Some people who love me advised me not to write this essay, and not to use its current title. “Take the high road,” I was advised.

Usually that is a good idea, but not in this case — not at this moment. In this essay I need to talk about some people — mainly privileged people, people who could make a difference in areas where most can’t — who are trying to justify their monumental, world-changing cowardice, at a time when we all need to be at least somewhat brave.

I am done with tolerating this quietly.

For a year and a half now, after it became clear that this crisis was never about “the virus” but rather about a global bid to kill off our free world and suppress all of our freedoms — since I and many others have been publicly vocal about this danger and doing all we can to alert our community — that is to say, humanity — I’ve been getting direct messages (“DMs”). And they are all kind of similar. And they gross me out. Here’s why.

In the DMs, people whom I know socially or professionally — people from journalism, from politics, from medicine, from science (most of them upper-middle- class ‘men in suits’) — say something like: “Naomi, I really respect your actions right now. I totally agree with what you are saying. But of course I can’t say anything publicly because [fill in the nonsensical, craven reason].”

The nonsensical and craven reason that follows this shameful message is typically something along the lines of, “My boss will get mad at me” or “My professional peers will have a problem with my speaking up.” It’s never even, “I have bills to pay.”

Your boss will get mad at you, O you who DM?

Do you understand what is at stake? If you continue to comply and collude with what has become a tyrannical oligopoly, your kids will live as slaves and as serfs forever.

The DMs insist that I am “brave.” But I am not “brave”; you’re just a p—-y.

Don’t get me wrong. I know the gender politics around ever using the epithet above. Everyone who has read my work knows that, being a woman, I have great respect for women, and for their bodies, and I understand that one does not throw around this epithet lightly or ignorantly or in a misogynist way.

But truly in such a moment of historic-level cowardice among some privileged and influential people, no other epithet will do.

I was initially baffled by these messages. Why would I be getting these? What do these people want? Why do they think I need their excuses? So I asked other, braver people WTF this was.

They laughed and said, “They want you to tell them that it is ok.”

So I am saying publicly: this is not ok.

I am exasperated by those who stay in the shadows, agreeing with the risktaking of others, who talk about their “courage.” I feel that this is a form of othering that dehumanizes and exploits those speaking out.

It casts the people who do take risks for the wellbeing of others, as being somehow naturally better-fitted for this difficult job than is the speaker. It’s a form of offloading one’s own responsibility guiltlessly onto a subgroup which is assigned the status of somehow liking the battle, or somehow fitted better for combat, by nature, than is the speaker himself.

It’s like all those guys I knew in college who never did the dishes after dinner, because they said they were really bad at it.

I don’t know anyone truly heroic who likes the current battle. But I think that most could not live with themselves if they walked away from doing what they know they can do to help — in a moment in which obvious right and wrong have not been clearer since 1941.

• We, the United States, repeatedly promised Russia when the Iron Curtain came down and the Warsaw Pact dissolved that we would not expand NATO eastward toward the Russian border.  Go look at the nations our Senate admitted by formal treaty in 2004.  We did this.  We deliberately and intentionally lied and by doing so proved to Russia that we were not to be trusted and our word was worthless on the international stage.
  
• We, the United States, formally and openly supported the shooting revolution at Maidan Square during the 2014 timeframe which included the killing of civilians and installation of Zelenskyy.  There was a serious sniping incident during that time.  Not one person who was involved in same was arrested and prosecuted.  This ought to inform you as to which side committed said offense since the other side, the sitting government at the time, was deposed.  If you’re so ****ing stupid as to believe that the sitting government of the time committed that atrocity and Zelenskyy’s government then “forgave and forgot” about the snipers rather than arresting, prosecuting and executing them you are so ****ing stupid you deserve to be nuked, especially considering that Ukraine just summarily executed one of their peace negotiators who they deemed “disloyal.”  The current Ukrainian government certainly has no problem with capital punishment, even when employed summarily without trial.
  
• Crimea contained a Russian NAVAL PORT all the way back through and to the USSR.  Indeed that land has been part of whatever was called “Russia” all the way back through the time of Nicholas II and before!  If you think Russia was going to give that up at the behest of a United States supported shooting revolution, having it literally taken by force of arms you’re out of your ****ing mind and your entire genetic line ought to go sit in an operating nuclear reactor and be recycled.  Russia went into Crimea and secured that which was theirs before Ukraine was split off.  If you claim to honor national boundaries and reject the use of military force to change who owns what then you damn well have to extend it to when its inconvenient to your other goals.  If not then just sit down, shut the **** up and deal with the fact that political entities take and protect land by force and, when it was theirs and someone takes it in a shooting revolution this sort of action should be expected.  This is no different than what we would do in the United States if China agitated and supported Mexico and California in breaking away, affiliating with Mexico with explicit Chinese backing, did so by shooting people and seized San Diego in the process.
  
• Zelenskyy has continued siphoning off the same sort of bribes his predecessors did.  If you think for one second that his former job, or his current one, was and is worth over one billion dollarsyou ought to immediately cut off your own genitals and kill any children you already produced so you cannot propagate your genetic line.  You really are that ****ing stupid and neither you or your children have business drawing oxygen from the air as your stupidity is materially adding to the probability of half of this nation being killed in a nuclear war and the starvation that will follow it.  These are the same oligarchs in Ukraine that funneled cash through Hunter Biden and myriad other people and which provided the “10 percent to the big guy” who is the douchebag that is our current President.  Everyone with more than two firing neurons knows that Ukraine has been a corrupt cesspool for decades and our politicians along with those in myriad other nations are on the take, getting rich off of it while directly supporting and steering the political climate there for profit, including killing those people who get in their way.
