Atlas Shrugged details the depravity and greed of the inept political class as the world collapses into chaos. Sound familiar? The three protagonists in the book organized a strike of industrialists 12 years before the system disintegrated. I will point out the Obama took office in 2009 and 2021 is now 12 years later.

The above paragraph from the book details the fate of the Comet train. Everyone in charge knew that more than 300 people would die if the train entered the tunnel with a coal burning engine. But they had given up and accepted that no one was going to save them for the evil of the government.

Let’s break this down:

How many people have been warning the nation about the evil which has taken hold in the government since 2009? These people are now vilified as domestic violent extremists. Their crime: a responsibility that they felt it was part of their duty, which they accepted and felt pride in fulfilling.

Have you noticed the blog posts of many sites lately? How many are directed at keyboard warriors and frustration at the people. How many blogs have shut down? How many are disgusted with a contemptuous indifference as people have accepted the illegal coup of the 2020 elections? How many commenters have given up and/or ridiculed the messenger? How long before we have no desire to save the people?

The Deep State, media and big business had asked for and carried out a coup against Donald Trump. The people thought they could go on living and daily turned away in evasion from the kind of verdicts that the courts would attack them for disobeying executive orders, the media and their new masters.

We wonder why. Why do we do it? For whom do we do it? Why can’t the people see the collapse and the tyranny? Why have we risked so much for people who have turned away and accepted their “fate”?

The people of this country have three choices:

1. They can accept tyranny.
2. They can fight tyranny.
3. They can go on strike to hasten the collapse.

From a little further on in Atlas Shrugged:

The man in Bedroom F, Car No. 13, was a lawyer who had said, “Me? I’ll find a way to get along under any political system.”

This is the worst of the rot infecting our country: people who “feel” they can evade tyranny by going with the flow.

Back to the question of this piece: When? When will the people wake up and stop indulging their own irresponsible evil? The answer is when they have suffered more than they have. We saw the breakdown in Texas this past week and now the post mortem is starting as the blame must be placed on someone other that those who are truly responsible. What is yet to come?

I have fought tyranny for a long time. I have no wish to see people suffer, even from their own apathy and acceptance. I also have no wish to motivate people who rely on ignorance and fear to get along under any political system.

So I will take step 3 and when the time comes (and it will) to rebuild, I will be there waiting for the producers to restore personal Liberty.

If we honestly reflect on the accomplishments of the Trump administration, we clearly discern results based on sound business principles without the excuses for failure that politicians have given us for their own greed and ineptitude.

The Trump administration did spend too much money. We may never know if the the alleged $200 trillion stolen by Wall Street and the political elite is true or if a portion of that money would have been recovered and used to pay off the debt. We may never know if the pandemic was implemented to destroy the Trump economy.

What we do know is how much damage can be done in one short month as the government has surpassed our worst case scenarios:

1. Construction pipeline/energy jobs lost.
2. Gas and energy prices skyrocketing.
3. Propaganda and censorship of the news.
4. Washington, D.C. is an armed camp.
5. Texas is in shambles.
6. No one knows who is in charge of the military.
7. Educational institutions and industry are teaching critical race theory.
8. The president is not taking calls from foreign leaders.
9. Climate change is used to control our livelihood, energy consumption and oppression.
10. Iran is dictating terms for nuclear war.
11. The second amendment is under attack.
12. Immigration policies have opened the borders and released criminals.
13. Executive orders have replaced Congressional legislation.
14. Vaccinations are used to restrict travel.
15. Cancellation of our culture has been expedited.

The future looks bleak. We have our faith in the Lord and have even won a small battle allowing churches to reopen (but no singing allowed). Reason tempered with faith are all we need to overcome tyranny. As I watch people suffering, I wonder how long until they wake up. The longer it takes, the more blood will be shed.
