Attitudes

Attitudes win or lose wars as Germany found in WWI. An orchestrated effort to demoralize the troops by Communist agents was effective and turned the tide of the war. This country is divided but the majority are still the people who believe in the foundational principles of this great nation. However, this majority is also divided and many vocally demoralize our side and our future.

During the 2020 election cycle, I was talking with a relative by marriage concerning Trump’s rallies and told him that I wanted to attend one. He was incredulous and asked why? He was not expecting my answer. I told him that I enjoyed watching tens of thousands of people who were happy and smiling. When was the last time you were around even a small number of people who were smiling?

That does not mean hope is an effective strategy in times of war; especially in a civil war. We can still live our lives and fight for our children. We cannot let pessimism rule and ruin our lives and our future. This glimmer of hope that we now see can increase to allow a rebirth and revival if we do not extinguish it ourselves.

Many comments on this site reflect pessimism and fail to see the possibilities of a Renaissance. Perception can become reality and we need to sit down and decide if we want to grow or wither on the vine.

I know that the Deep State will try everything to stop the new administration from being effective including nuclear annihilation. Isn’t that what evil does? I want people to consider some points:

  1. Donald Trump has built a solid team of professional people to work in the new administration. I doubt anyone could argue against this statement. But, “what about this appointment” has become a standard refrain. Gaetz was first but there are others and there will be missteps due to the number of people involved in setting up the top tier of officials. Other people are saying that Trump MUST do “this” on day one or he will have their support. Strange how people who did not even vote are making demands for their support.
  2. Donald Trump is not taking money from the GSA to fund his transition. This shows how much he learned from a security aspect.
  3. Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s. position in the government cannot be understated. Healthcare and our food supply will be restored. I doubt people have realized how important these changes will be or how fast they will be implemented. I hope that the people in Big Pharma and Big Ag will be brought to justice as part of his work.
  4. Elon Musk’s position in the government will be just as important. Reaching for the stars gives us hope in a better future. Whether it is AI, Neuralink, electric cars and trucks, energy storage, the Boring Company, SpaceX or DOGE, he will be the key in this Renaissance.
  5. A coordinated effort between the DOJ and three letter agencies can restore our justice system and hopefully hold traitors accountable for their destruction of our Republic.
  6. The end of the Department of Education.
  7. The end of regulations imposed be the now rescinded Chevron decision.
  8. The results of deporting illegal aliens and securing the borders.
  9. Imposing tariffs and reducing the federal income tax.
  10. Making our federal elections secure using voter ID.

Will all of this come to pass? I hope so. And I hope that having a positive attitude after 24 years of negativity, wars and corruption is warranted. I want to smile again and feel safe. But I am a realist: we are not out of the woods by any measure. Evil will not go quietly into the night and evil must be held accountable for the death of our people and destruction of our culture and country. I will fight to restore Liberty and my goal has not changed: we owe it to our children to give them a better country.

I want to be happy and smile again and imagine if more of us start to smile. And I absolutely know that the Lord wants us to live in His light instead of promoting darkness.

People as Myth Haters

An essay by Alexander A. Gronau h/t Huter der Irminsul

I’ve often wondered why Western Civilization has traded beautiful architecture for square “box” designs that are utilitarian, but not pleasing to the eye? Why beautiful art and sculpture for the hideous “modern” forms we see today. Mr. Gronau has a potential answer. Regardless of one’s religious beliefs, he seems to understand and make a compelling case that we have lost our way.

He states, “The greatest ideas and achievements of humanity come from the mythical age, such as the experience of the soul in all things, love in partnership, communal living together, a highly developed language, art, music, weaving, house building, the metaphysical idea of freedom, the vision of gods as the forces in the cosmos that are in truth scientifically inexplicable, etc.”

I find it difficult to argue with him in this. I offer Gronau’s essay not as an affront to anyone’s faith, but as a defense of mythology. It has been well said that we find spiritual truth in myths. His essay follows (Machine translation from the German):

Myths express deep psychological truths about the world. Our indigenous ancestors understood the earth as the goddess of life, and isn’t that what she is?! The Germanic myth of the world pillar Irminsul shows that people at that time could perceive the invisible in expanded states of consciousness, because it is the world axis. Modern man would search the world for it and find that such a high pillar cannot be found anywhere and would falsely proclaim: “False myth!” because he is ignorant of the invisible levels of the world and cosmos and therefore denies them. But the myth is doubly right, because it says that if the Irminsul fell, the world would also fall into chaos, because the earth would spin unstably through space without its axis.

Just as impressive is the equally Germanic myth of the all-mother Frigga, who rose from her Rocken weaves the cosmos with threads. Not only does our galaxy, the so-called Milky Way, look like a distaff spindle from Earth, but even more fascinating is the fact that it was only modern cosmology with its “string theory” that came to the conclusion that cosmic strings, i.e. subatomic threads of gigantic length, form the matter of the universe, i.e. could weave it!

Today’s humanity still considers myths to be lies and its own dreams as the language of the soul to be illusions, but the stock market values to be reality. Such a humanity is lost in its deepest soul.

I pity anyone who thinks they can understand the mystery of existence through mathematics alone. Mathematics alone has the greatest difficulty in grasping the metaphysical idea of infinity and assumes, for example, in scientific superstition, that theoretically invented parallel lines meet somewhere in infinity, which is really absurd. And the phenomenon of consciousness cannot be explained scientifically at all.

In the world perception of our indigenous ancestors, everything and everyone had consciousness and soul, from clouds to rocks to butterflies, which does far more justice to the phenomenon of consciousness in the cosmos and the world than the scientific assumption that consciousness suddenly arose in a completely unconscious world only in the head of man as a kind of “waste product” of the brain. This is actually how people express themselves in professional circles, even if there are now a few cosmologists who speak of consciousness in the atom, which unconsciously comes close to a mythical world view. However, an atom is also a rather theoretical construct that is no longer misunderstood as a solid building block of matter, but rather resembles a nebulous cloud. So, we see that our mythically thinking ancestors were right after all with their idea of a spirit-inhabited cloud and a land-creating fog!

Myths make the deepest levels of existence comprehensible to people in images of the soul; if they have not been distorted by patriarchy and/or the clergy. Without dreams, a person goes mad and a culture without myths is a mentally ill one devoid of meaning. We live in such an inner-psychologically sick culture today. People are mutating into ignorant myth haters, especially in our present day. But such a person is always also a hater of poetry, art and fantasy and therefore impotent in his creativity.

The greatest ideas and achievements of humanity come from the mythical age, such as the experience of the soul in all things, love in partnership, communal living together, a highly developed language, art, music, weaving, house building, the metaphysical idea of freedom, the vision of gods as the forces in the cosmos that are in truth scientifically inexplicable, etc.

The mythical age was an expression of a deep, spiritual experience of the world that is lacking in modern man; he has become mentally grey as a slave to consumption and technology, which does not bother him, since he also sees the soul as a myth and thus falsely as a false assumption.

He runs without his own dream substance, with cyber glasses in front of his eyes, which use pixel bombast to overshadow his own inner self, which is no longer perceived and is also seen as an allegedly false myth – like his own self, which is replaced by AI, rushes through the grey streets of a grey urbanization, since no one has been in touch with his mythical self for a long time, and is extremely conceited about how far he has come on this planet as a species through the progress of all sensory levels of the world, since the clergy, as part of the forced Christianization, forbade him from paying attention to his own dreams in penitential books and the soul has been banished from all natural phenomena like a disease.

So, man fights against the last myths of his spiritually gifted ancestors, which he now suspects even in the most banal things, when he rants contemptuously about the false myths of shaving or tying shoelaces, without any idea what a myth is.

His problem is not that he lives in a world full of supposedly false myths, but in a meaningless, mythless one. Nevertheless, he shouts the formula “myth or truth!” over everything possible, thereby separating into opposites what belongs together and destroying the last intact parts of his soul. But that doesn’t bother him, since his own soul, like the soon-to-be-abolished free will, is a myth, and thus a “fake”. Modern man does not notice that he himself has thereby become a single walking lie about life.

As a manic myth-hater, the following insight is as alien to him as his own inner self: “Only a world without real myths becomes a world full of lies!”
