Is The United States Going To Go To War With Syria Over A Natural Gas Pipeline?

PipelineWhy has the little nation of Qatar spent 3 billion dollars to support the rebels in Syria?  Could it be because Qatar is the largest exporter of liquid natural gas in the world and Assad won’t let them build a natural gas pipeline through Syria?  Of course.  Qatar wants to install a puppet regime in Syria that will allow them to build a pipeline which will enable them to sell lots and lots of natural gas to Europe.  Why is Saudi Arabia spending huge amounts of money to help the rebels and why has Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan been “jetting from covert command centers near the Syrian front lines to the Élysée Palace in Paris and the Kremlin in Moscow, seeking to undermine the Assad regime”?  Well, it turns out that Saudi Arabia intends to install their own puppet government in Syria which will allow the Saudis to control the flow of energy through the region.  On the other side, Russia very much prefers the Assad regime for a whole bunch of reasons.  One of those reasons is that Assad is helping to block the flow of natural gas out of the Persian Gulf into Europe, thus ensuring higher profits for Gazprom.  Now the United States is getting directly involved in the conflict.  If the U.S. is successful in getting rid of the Assad regime, it will be good for either the Saudis or Qatar (and possibly for both), and it will be really bad for Russia.  This is a strategic geopolitical conflict about natural resources, religion and money, and it really has nothing to do with chemical weapons at all.

It has been common knowledge that Qatar has desperately wanted to construct a natural gas pipeline that will enable it to get natural gas to Europe for a very long time.  The following is an excerpt from an article from 2009

Misfire: Joint Chiefs Chairman Criticizes Leak of Syria Military Plans, Delay in Syria Strikes as Forces Moved

by Bill Gertz

AP

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the president’s top military adviser, told the Senate on Tuesday that U.S. plans for attacks on Syria were made more difficult by leaks to the press and the president’s delay in ordering the strikes.

Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman, said in testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that despite those setbacks he is confident military strikes will be effective in degrading the Syrian military’s chemical warfare capabilities.

Asked by Sen. Ben Cardin (D., Md.) if public discussion of plans by the United States to use military force had made it more difficult to conduct the strikes, Dempsey said: “Yes, senator, it has.”

Dempsey said within the past 10 days “there was a significant leak of military planning that caused the regime to react.”

  • Remember Benghazi and the Navy Seals who died at the Libyan Embassy exactly one year ago!
  • Remember the Navy Seals team that died in the helicopter “accident”!
  • What about the rush to war with Syria!
  • What do you think about the unconstitutional Executive Orders to put us under international law!
  • And the little-by-little taking of our right to self-defense!
  • Illegal aliens are of interest to the left only as undocumented Democrats ready to overwhelm our election process to vote for their generous new masters – justice or stolen votes????

Doug Hagmann: Syria will be the Waco of the Middle East

Opening the gates of hell… for the children's sake

Events are now moving rapidly to accomplish the next step in the agenda of the globalists that will lead us into the unimaginable horrors of World War III. With each passing day, each passing hour, the curtain is being lifted a little more to expose the true agenda of the psychopaths and sociopaths who are leading the charge of war in our name, with our money and despite our apparent collective reluctance illustrated by a recent poll about intervention in Syria, our tacit approval for what is about to take place.

Syria is about to become the international version of Waco, for it is the same lie that is being used now as it was then: “It’s for the children.” We know all too well how the children of Waco fared. It’s not about the children, and never was. If anything, it’s in spite of the children

If you understand exactly what happened at Waco at the Branch Davidian compound, that is the truth rather than the official government and media account, then you will understand that we are on the verge of an international “Waco moment.” The template of terror and tyranny has not changed, but has been expanded and exported. Just as the standoff at Waco began with an ATF operation codenamed “Showtime,” the Syria “standoff” began with the decision to overthrow Assad by arming and training al Qaeda linked terrorists using weapons and arms confiscated from Libya.

NC House just overrode Veto of H.786 and turns against unemployed citizens

Immigration Activists and Concerned Citizens,

We have the third highest and worst unemployment rate in the entire nation.

The NC House just passed in effect a jobs bill for illegal immigrants.  It is a shameful day for the NC General Assembly.  This is a clear example that greed is alive and to hell with our unemployed citizens!

As the NC House just overrode Gov McCrory’s veto of H.786, claiming it helps farmers when in fact the waiver of all businesses not having to use E-Verify if their workers work less than nine full months a year is gutting protections for citizen workers who are unemployed.  A waiver was offered for farmers only but it was rejected.

President Obama won’t enforce federal immigration laws at the work site and our only state law, to protect new jobs for citizens just gutted today, means it will be relatively easy for companies to hire illegal immigrants with virtually no fear of being punished in North Carolina.

The NC Senate votes tomorrow but they are sure to join the NC House to override based on their earlier support of H.786 that was even stronger than the NC House.

Rush Limbaugh: Assad Set Up by Obama?

Rush Limbaugh read several sources today (September 3, 2013) that Obama knew that the Syria rebels were planning to release sarin gas on their own people to ignite a war between the United States and Syria. This is not breaking news as a variation of this was first released on the UK Telegraph three days after the “attack”. Various sources have postulated that the whole story is a hoax where no one was killed, regular Syrian missiles hit sarin gas reserves given to the rebels by Saudi Arabia and now this account.

If any of these accounts are true, Obama should be impeached and possibly tried for war crimes. If Obama brings about World War III for his own purposes, the United States may have a civil war on its hands.

David DeGerolamo

Bodansky: What If Bashar Didn’t Do It?

RUSH: All right. So here’s the deal.  Last week, Obama reverses himself and says that he’s not gonna go into Syria.  Remember, they’re using nerve gas.  John Kerry goes out there, 1,500 people, 2,400 people, a lot of kids, nerve gas, sarin gas, got the proof.  Look, I’m gonna get into all the hypocrisy.  Yes, Kerry dining with Bashar back in 2009 and talking about what a great guy Bashar was. The bottom line is this administration is as incompetent as Jimmy Carter.  There’s only one difference.  If there were anybody else running this administration right now, this would be reported as incompetent and as buffoonish and as frightening at Jimmy Carter’s.

This is Jimmy Carter’s second term here.  This is absolutely frightening what’s happening here.  Obama with this inadvertent, trying to make himself look like a tough guy, red line comment this past summer.  Well, the Syrians crossed the red line, so Obama’s obligated.  And late in the week last week, he said, “You know what?  I’m gonna go get congressional authority,” after maintaining he didn’t need it, maintaining he didn’t want it, maintaining he’s gonna be a tough guy, gonna act alone. He’s gonna save the people of Syria. He’s gonna make sure this Bashar guy gets what’s coming to him.

Then all of a sudden he switches gears we’re told after a walk Friday night on the White House grounds.  Yes.  He decided he’s gonna use congressional authority. He’s gonna go to Congress.  Now, when this announcement was made — ’cause this had been discussed.  I mean, the idea of congressional authority for use-of-force authorization had been discussed.  There had been test votes taken by virtue of interview.  At the time, there was no way Congress was gonna authorize it.  Didn’t stand a prayer, which Obama knew, which the point was to blame Republicans.  It was the Limbaugh Theorem in play.  Obama forget about it essentially.  The plan was change direction, reverse field, announce that he’s gonna go to Congress to get a use-of-force authorization, and then when the Republicans don’t give it to him, blame them for dead Syrians.

Boehner Comes Out, “Supports Obama’s Call For Action” Says Colleagues Should Also; Stocks Slide

Gold and silver prices are jumping, bonds are bid off their high yields, and US equities have dropped to the lows of the day as Boehner gets behind Obama:

  • BOEHNER SAYS WILL SUPPORT OBAMA’S CALL FOR ACTION IN SYRIA, BELIEVES COLLEAGUES SHOULD DO THE SAME
  • BOEHNER SAYS `ONLY THE UNITED STATES’ CAN RESPOND TO SYRIA
  • BOEHNER SAYS UN, NATO UNLIKELY TO TAKE ACTION ON SYRIA

Of course, given the military’s moves over the weekend, was there really any de-escalation (as we warned Friday).

So what did the oil traders know that stocks didn’t?

Boehner backs Obama on Syria strike

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Tuesday that he would support President Obama’s call for a military strike against Syria.

“I’m going to support the president’s call for action,” Boehner said, adding of chemical weapons use in Syria that “this type of behavior is not going to be tolerated.”

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said he also would back military action.

“I intend to vote to provide the president of the United States the option to use military force in Syria,” Cantor said in a statement.

Israel conducts joint missile interception test with US in Mediterranean

This “test” was a good gamble by Obama. If war breaks out over this taunt, he can blame Israel and still achieve his objective to build a new caliphate in the Middle East based in Turkey.

Unannounced Israel-U.S. missile test fuels jitters over Syria

Israel tested a U.S.-backed missile system in the Mediterranean on Tuesday but did not announce the launch in advance, prompting a disclosure by Russia that kept the world on edge as the United States weighed an attack on Syria.

The morning launch was first reported by Moscow media that quoted Russian defense officials as saying two ballistic “objects” had been fired eastward from the center of the sea – roughly in the direction of Syria.

The news ruffled financial markets until Israel’s Defence Ministry said that it, along with a Pentagon team, had carried out a test-launch of a Sparrow missile. The Sparrow, which simulates the long-range missiles of Syria andIran, is used for target practice by Israel’s U.S.-backed ballistic shield Arrow.

“Israel routinely fires missiles or drones off its shores to test its own ballistic defense capabilities,” a U.S. official said in Washington.

Russia Has Equipped Syria With Their Most Advanced Anti-Ship Missiles

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd-NTv2H-u8#t=1s

Russia has sold Syria highly advanced rocket launchers, anti-aircraft missiles and anti-ship missiles.  In fact, the P-800 Yakhont anti-ship missiles that Russia has equipped Syria with are the most advanced anti-ship missiles that Russia has.  When the United States strikes Syria, they might be quite surprised at how hard Syria can hit back.  The Syrian military is the most formidable adversary that the U.S. military has tangled with in the Middle East by far.  From Syria, P-800 Yakhont anti-ship missiles can cover much of the eastern Mediterranean and can even reach air bases in Cyprus.  If the U.S. Navy is not very careful to stay out of range, we could easily see footage of destroyed U.S. naval vessels sinking into the Mediterranean Sea on the evening news.  And once the American people see such footage, it will be impossible to stop a full-blown war between the United States and Syria.

Syria has highly advanced weapons systems that Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya did not have.  Anyone that thinks that we can just sit back and lob cruise missiles at them is being naive.  Syria has weapons that “have never before been seen” in the Middle East.  The following is from a recent article by Mac Slavo

Was the Syrian Sarin Attack a Staged Hoax?

* * * We make no claims that any of the presented is in any way accurate or representative of the truth. It is sourced from a “hack” by €Wagn3r of what the hacker purports to be numerous emails of one Colonel Anthony James MacDonald, his wife, and various other “Pentagon officers.” However, if accurate, the exposed data sheds some critical, if circumstantial, light on the true events that transpired in the days ahead of the Wednesday, August 22 “nerve gas” chemical attack alleged to have been executed by Syria’s president al-Assad, and presented “beyond a doubt” as such, and as the basis for full-scale military operations and “surgical strikes” targeting Syrian assets, which in the coming days will involve a Congressional vote to determine the fate of the Syrian government and ostensibly of ten of thousands of innocent civilians caught in the crossfire. While we doubt the Pentagon, the US Military, or any person in the administration will officially address these “hacked” emails, the world has a right to be aware of the existence of this information, and to come their own conclusions about the veracity of the official “case” for Syrian involvement * * *

The following is the message that hacker €Wagner posted on a Pastebin data dump (located here) on August 30:

I’ve hacked colonel Anthony Jamie MacDonald mail he is intelligence US Army Staff boss. First I hacked his LinkedIn account and got access to his mail through it then.

Among mail Mayhem like Amazon mails I’ve found his correspondence with his colleague Eugene Furst. He congratulates Col. with success and gives a link to the Washington Post publication about chemical attack in Syria on August 21. Furst also mentions it was “well staged”. Holy shit. I was shocked my eyes refused to believe it. Bloody bastards they “staged” a chemical attack.

Then a friend of Anthony MacDonald’s wife Jennifer writes she was shocked seeing on TV the children died after chemical attack in Syria. Jennifer answers she saw the story but Tony calm her down saying children were alive and the scene was staged.
