Obama: ‘I Didn’t Set a Red Line’ on Syria

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6ePJXR216c

“First of all, I didn’t set a red line,” said Obama. “The world set a red line. The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world’s population said the use of chemical weapons are [inaudble] and passed a treaty forbidding their use, even when countries are engaged in war. Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Congress set a red line when it indicated that in a piece of legislation entitled the Syria Accountability Act that some of the horrendous things happening on the ground there need to be answered for. So, when I said in a press conference that my calculus about what’s happening in Syria would be altered by the use of chemical weapons, which the overwhelming consensus of humanity says is wrong, that wasn’t something I just kind of made up. I didn’t pluck it out of thin air. There’s a reason for it.”

Can Obama Read Between the Lines?

Russian President Putin has now stated that he may drop his support of Assad in Syria if Obama can prove that his case concerning the use of chemical weapons against the rebels. This would be quite a reversal since Russia’s naval stations in Tartus and Latakia would be at risk if Assad is removed. But what if Putin knows that the United States was complicit in this attack as is now being reported. This would not only make this an empty promise, it would put pressure on Obama to prove his case. Prior to any military action.

As usual, Putin is playing chess and Obama is playing golf checkers. The clock is ticking as the October budget/economic crisis is looming. This distraction to what may become our economy’s collapse can only be covered over by this “pending war” for so long. Let us pray that our military will remove its “commander-in-chief” is any order to start an unConstitutional war is issued since it now appears that our Congress  is under the control of NSA blackmail.

Putin says could turn against Assad – if case proved

President Vladimir Putin offered a glimpse of international compromise over Syria on Wednesday, declining to entirely rule out Russian backing for military action as he prepared to host a summit of world leaders.

As the United States and allies prepare to bypass any Russian U.N. veto and attack Damascus, there is little chance of Putin’s support. But his words may herald new efforts to overcome great power rivalries that have let Syria descend into bloody chaos.

At the same time, Moscow said it had sent a warship it calls a “carrier killer” to the eastern Mediterranean, where a U.S. fleet is waiting for Congress to approve orders from President Barack Obama to launch punitive strikes against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad following his forces’ alleged use of poison gas.

The Time Is Now!

by Bill Kennedy

From Manteo to Murphy and all points in-between it is time for North Carolina’s citizens to again rise up and reclaim what is our birthright, what we once were – First in Freedom!

From the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence to the Halifax Resolves we were first. When the Constitution was debated by the states, North Carolina refused ratification until there were amendments to make it clear that “We the People” have God given rights and NO government may violate them. Only then after the submission of amendments known as the Bill of Rights did North Carolina approve the Constitution.

North Carolina throughout her history has been in the forefront of the fight for freedom, but of late, our political “leaders” in Raleigh have turned their backs on that proud tradition and instead have ignored the loss of our freedoms perpetuated by the very same federal government that our states’ founders fought and died to create.

We the citizens of North Carolina must rise up and demand that our state “leaders” never again grovel at the feet of federal politicians and bureaucrats. When “laws”, rules, regulations and Executive Orders emanating out of Washington, DC violate the Constitution our founders created and our present day politicians swore and Oath to “protect and defend” it is time to make a stand.

We must remind our “leaders” in Raleigh that the Oath they took WAS NOT to “protect and defend” the federal government, IT WAS to “protect and defend” the Constitution!

Jefferson and Madison told us how to “protect and defend” the Constitution and our rights – and NULLIFICATION is that Rightful Remedy!

Did the White House Help Plan the Syrian Chemical Attack?

This is the article referenced by Russ Limbaugh on September 3, 2013 detailing the United States’ role in the chemical attack on women and children.

by Yossef Bodansky

There is a growing volume of new evidence from numerous sources in the Middle East — mostly affiliated with the Syrian opposition and its sponsors and supporters — which makes a very strong case, based on solid circumstantial evidence, that the August 21, 2013, chemical strike in the Damascus suburbs was indeed a pre-meditated provocation by the Syrian opposition.

The extent of US foreknowledge of this provocation needs further investigation because available data puts the “horror” of the Barack Obama White House in a different and disturbing light.

On August 13-14, 2013, Western-sponsored opposition forces in Turkey started advance preparations for a major and irregular military surge. Initial meetings between senior opposition military commanders and representatives of Qatari, Turkish, and US Intelligence [“Mukhabarat Amriki”] took place at the converted Turkish military garrison in Antakya, Hatay Province, used as the command center and headquarters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and their foreign sponsors. Very senior opposition commanders who had arrived from Istanbul briefed the regional commanders of an imminent escalation in the fighting due to “a war-changing development” which would, in turn, lead to a US-led bombing of Syria.

The opposition forces had to quickly prepare their forces for exploiting the US-led bombing in order to march on Damascus and topple the Bashar al-Assad Government, the senior commanders explained. The Qatari and Turkish intelligence officials assured the Syrian regional commanders that they would be provided with plenty of weapons for the coming offensive.

I did not pay my taxes or vote Republican for America to become Al-Qaeda’s military.

by Judson Phillips

It is not too often that a blog, or even a major political idea can be summed up in one sentence but this one can.

I did not pay my taxes, support and vote for Republicans so that America would become the military arm of Al-Qaeda.

What on earth are the Republicans thinking?

Well first, John McCain isn’t.  During the Senate hearings, he proved what a total joke he and the Senate are.  He was playing online poker.  When criticized about it, he took to his twitter feed and made a joke of it saying, the worst part about it was that he lost.

No, the worst part about this is that you are committing America’s military to be Al-Qaeda’s military.

While John McCain was playing video poker, because that was clearly more interesting that what was going on when deciding whether or not our nation would ally itself with the same people that gave us 9/11, Secretary of State and American traitor John Kerry was saying we had no way of knowing if American boots would end up on the ground in Syria.

How The UK Government Approved Sarin Gas Components For Export To Syria In 2012

A nation pushing toward war as a distraction from internal problems and political failures is as old as human civilization itself. It is a tried and true method for hanging on to positions of power and often ends up in massive displays of destruction, chaos and death. Sadly, we find ourselves on the precipice of such a moment right now. With Labor Day 2013 in the history books, we Americans are about to be pushed into another pointless unconstitutional war, with this particular conflict having grave potential to escalate into something far worse than our recent military boondoggles.

Not only is a civil war in Syria, with Bashar al-Assad on one side and Al-Qaeda on the other, nothing we should want to get embroiled in, but our entire rationale for intervention is absurd. Not only did the U.S. government and intelligence agencies play key roles in Saddam’s far worse chemical weapons attacks in the 1980?s, but now we discover that the UK had approved sarin gas components for export to Syria as recently as last year! The sale was only blocked due to EU regulations. Wow. More from the UK Independent:

The Government was accused of “breathtaking laxity” in its arms controls last night after it emerged that officials authorised the export to Syria of two chemicals capable of being used to make a nerve agent such as sarin a year ago.

The Business Secretary, Vince Cable, will today be asked by MPs to explain why a British company was granted export licences for the dual-use substances for six months in 2012 while Syria’s civil war was raging and concern was rife that the regime could use chemical weapons on its own people. The disclosure of the licences for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride, which can both be used as precursor chemicals in the manufacture of nerve gas, came as the US Secretary of State John Kerry said the United States had evidence that sarin  gas was used in last month’s atrocity in Damascus.

Radiation Levels At Fukushima Soar By Over 20% In Three Days, Hit 2,200 mSv And Rising

Moments ago a powerful 6.5 quake struck the Izu Islands, 400 miles south of Tokyo, strong enough to be felt among the taller buildings of the Japanese capital. Luckily, there was no tsunami or any destructive aftermath, at least none publicly announced. None was needed, because the great earthquake of March 2011 and subsequent tsunami and nuclear catastrophe at Fukushima continue to do enough damage. Sadly, it is the gift that keeps on giving… gamma rays. Not to mention constant news of the deterioration from the disaster zone, now that the world’s attention has once again refocused on the fallout zone which for over two years both the Japanese government and TEPCO lied was under control. It wasn’t. And now that the lies are catching up with reality, the “shocking” facts are hitting fast and furious.

To wit: it was only this past Saturday when we reported that the radiation levels at Fukushima had hit a post-explosion record of 1,800 millisieverts/hour. Today, three short days later we get an update, and a stunning deterioration of over 20%. Reuters reports, citing the Nuclear Regulation Authority, that readings just above the ground near a set of tanks at the Fukushima Daiichi plant showed the radiation had risen as high as 2,200 millisieverts (mSv). Both levels would be enough to kill an unprotected person within hours.

What the real reading is at this point, how many leaks exist, how much irradiated water is seeping into the groundwater and the ocean: nobody knows. One thing that is certain: everyone in Japan is (and has been) lying because the reality is rapidly approaching a panic level, as the realization that not only did Japan and Tepco lose all control, but they never had it in the first place.

Radiation readings around tanks holding contaminated water at the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant have spiked more than 20 percent to their highest level, Japan’s nuclear regulator said, again raising questions about the clean-up of the worst atomic disaster in 27 years.

From YouTube:

Senators Graham and McCain have started a RINO war fan-club. They have Obama’s back and are ready to fire at Syria. The question is whether the new regime will be any better, especially given that they will be left with massive amounts of chemical weaponry. Join Tammy Bruce (substituting for Bill Whittle), Stephen Green, and Scott Ott as they try to figure out why these GOP members have fallen in lockstep with the President.
