How to Make Fire Cloth

Fire cloth is another excellent tinder option (similar to cottonballs and vaseline). The advantage of fire cloth is it is very flat and can be easily added to any EDC (Every-Day Carry) kit.

Why nearly all state gun control laws being passed today will soon be null and void

minutemen-97739861864

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. … God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion; what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” — Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787

We live in perilous times. Tyranny is rising in the ‘land of the free.’ We have children and grandchildren to protect. Caution and restraint are necessary for the moment. Vigilance is crucial. There are reasons to expect the most recent attempt at stripping our rights will be struck down.

Reason #1) Many laws will be struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The U.S. Supreme Court already has a track record of striking down the several key gun control laws that have been put in place by cities or states.

Reason #2) A Supreme Court decision would expose the illegitimacy of the court and reveal the outright criminality of the federal government.

If, somehow, the U.S. Supreme Court finds these new state gun restrictions laws to be “constitutional,” such a decision would be equivalent to a declaration that the court has openly abandoned its only real duty, which is to halt overreaching laws that violate the individual rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

If reasons 1 and 2 fail us, we will be left with only Mr. Jefferson’s admonition … watering the tree of liberty.

Reason #3) A civil war may be underway before any of this makes it to the courts.

DHS specifically defines “terrorists” in America as:

– Americans who believe their “way of life” is under attack
– Americans who are “fiercely nationalistic”
– People who consider themselves “anti-global”
– Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority”
– Americans who are “reverent of individual liberty”
– People who “believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”

Thus, at least half the U.S. population has already been deemed “terrorists.” According to the White House, this means they have no right to due process.

Russian strategic bomber conducts practice strikes on U.S. missile defenses in Asia

Russia Tu-22M Backfire bomber / Wikipedia

Russia Tu-22M Backfire bomber

by Bill Gertz

A Russian bomber recently carried out simulated cruise missile attacks on U.S. missile defenses in Asia, raising new questions about Moscow’s goal in future U.S.-Russian defense talks.

According to U.S. officials, a Russian Tu-22M Backfire bomber on Feb. 26 simulated firing air-launched cruise missiles at an Aegis ship deployed near Japan as part of U.S. missile defenses.

A second mock attack was conducted Feb. 27 against a ground-based missile defense site in Japan that officials did not identify further.

Submission to Tyranny Is Slavery

Barack Obama

Our founding fathers understood many of the pitfalls that will destroy a nation through a corrupt government. A representative republic is only as good as its elected officials. If the people vote immoral people into office, sell their vote for personal enrichment or re-elect career politicians whose purposes are personal power and greed, the nation will decay and collapse.

The latest redistribution scheme is disability. Unemployment runs out, no problem. Enter the ranks of the disabled. As pointed out in another post, disability combined with unemployment gives the United States a U8 unemployment figure of 25.62%.

Combine this figure with people receiving food stamps, welfare and workfare to understand that elections will only be won by those politicians supporting redistribution.

Submission to tyranny is slavery. How else would you classify a two tiered class system where one class supports the other class with no hope for reformation?

North Korea moves missiles, South Korean markets roiled

North Korea has placed two of its intermediate range missiles on mobile launchers and hidden them on the east coast of the country in a move that could threaten Japan or U.S. Pacific bases, South Korean media reported on Friday.

The report could not be confirmed. But any such movement may be intended to demonstrate that the North, angry about joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises and the imposition of U.N. sanctions, is prepared to demonstrate its ability to mount an attack.

The North has said nuclear conflict could break out at any time on the Korean peninsula in a month-long war of words that has prompted the United States to move military assets into the region.

The tension with North Korea has roiled South Korean financial markets and top finance officials in Seoul warned they could have a long-term impact on markets.

Is It Beginning? Biggest JGB Price Collapse In Over 10 Years Triggers TSE Circuit Breakers

10Y JGB yields have exploded higher. The move from 32bps to 65bps triggered circuit breakers on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in JGB Futures trading as JGB prices plunged by their largest amount since September 2002. We can only imagine there are liquidations galore occurring given the massive outsize moves we are seeing in Japanese bonds, stocks, FX, swaps, and CDS. Did the BoJ just lose control?

“We’ll Kill the Dollar!”

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_F7bM63ZfWQ

From YouTube:

From Doug Hagmann of Canada Free Press comes a chilling account of what’s in store for us if we continue to ignore the bare-faced warnings of the central power base.

Here: http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/54163.

Some might be surprised to learn that the fate of America’s economy has already been determined, verified and announced by the Obama White House. Yet, it has received scant attention from the corporate media. In 2011, economist Kyle Bass interviewed a senior member of the Obama administration about its planned solutions for fixing the US economy and trade deficit[ia].

Among the questions he asked was about U.S. exports and wages, but the question itself was not nearly as important as the response he received from this senior administration official. In fact, this single, seven word response clarifies everything, explains everything, and leaves little else to discuss: “We’re just going to kill the dollar.”

George Will:Schools push a curriculum of propaganda

The real vocation of some people entrusted with delivering primary and secondary education is to validate this proposition: The three R’s — formerly reading, ’riting and ’rithmetic — now are racism, reproduction and recycling. Especially racism. Consider Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction. It evidently considers “instruction” synonymous with “propaganda,” which in the patois of progressivism is called “consciousness-raising.”

Wisconsin’s DPI, in collaboration with the Orwellian-named federal program VISTA(Volunteers in Service to America; the “volunteers” are paid), urged white students to wear white wristbands “as a reminder about your privilege, and as a personal commitment to explain why you wear the wristband.” A flyer that was on the DPI Web site and distributed at a DPI-VISTA training class urged whites to “put a note on your mirror or computer screen as a reminder to think about privilege,” to “make a daily list of the ways privilege played out” and to conduct an “internal dialogue” asking questions such as “How do I make myself comfortable with privilege?” and “What am I doing today to undo my privilege?”

N.C. considers returning driving privileges to immigrants here illegally

Rep. Harry Warren

Republican lawmakers in North Carolina are expected next week to propose a sweeping new state law that would grant driving privileges to residents living in the country illegally but also would adopt Arizona-type enforcement measures authorizing police to check the immigration status of people they question for other suspected offenses.

Supporters say the proposal, a sign of a more welcoming approach that some states are taking with their unauthorized residents, would make the roads safer and help identify those who had been living hidden in society.

The measure also has significant political implications as national Republican leaders have warned the party must expand its appeal to Latinos. It’s not an easy task for a Republican-led North Carolina legislature, which must walk a fine line in reaching out to the state’s rapidly growing Latino community without antagonizing the party’s conservative base.

Republican state Rep. Harry Warren, who last year co-chaired a special House panel on immigration, said this week that he planned to introduce his legislation Tuesday or Wednesday. He declined to share details, but he said the bill “focuses on an appropriate state-level response to the issue of illegally present persons in North Carolina.”

South Israel on alert for multiple al Qaeda strike. Iron Dome posted

Egyptian forces in Sinai capture armed Salafist

Egyptian forces in Sinai capture armed Salafist

Incoming intelligence of All Qaeda groups in the Sinai Peninsula winding up preparations for a multiple attack on an Israeli location, such as Eilat, and a US military target in the Negev, has put southern Israel and US forces posted there on high terror alert. This is reported by DEBKAfile’s military sources.

The Israeli high command decided to treat the five Qassam rockets fired at Shear Hanegev Wednesday, April 3, which were claimed by the Al Qaeda-affiliated Salafist “Jihad Brigades in Jerusalem.” as the opening salvo for this coordinated attack. An Iron Dome battery was accordingly moved Thursday to the Israeli-Egyptian border north of the southern port of Eilat and additional IDF strength directed to the South.

Heavy sandstorms in the region have sharply reduced visibility for troop movements and provided excellent cover for terrorist infiltration.

Dozens of armed Salafist and al Qaeda operatives in SUVs on which heavy machine guns were mounted were sighted Tuesday driving along the northern Sinai road linking Rafah on the Gazan border to Sheikh Zuweid. They withdrew hurriedly to the mountainous central region when a beefed up Egyptian military contingent drew up and was able to catch a few.

The group is believed to be preparing to mount a multiple attack simultaneously from Sinai and the Gaza Strip. Eilat may be one target but others are thought to be US forces based in the Negev and also the many American officers and men of the MFO peacekeeping force in northern Sinai.
