This Is How You Enslave People

The federal government is running radio ads to boost enrollment in food stamps.

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

The following story from CNNMoney outlines how the government wants more people on food stamps. The graph below shows the massive increase to all time highs for this program. If you control the food supply, you control the people. Although their intent is to make people dependent on the government in order to gain more power over them, the end result is slavery.

For those who think they are free even when their lives are controlled and regulated by the government, consider these words carefully: Continue reading

The godfather of global warming lowers the boom on climate change hysteria

lovelockPic

Two months ago, James Lovelock, the godfather of global warming, gave a startling interview to msnbc.com in which he acknowledged he had been unduly “alarmist” about climate change.

The implications were extraordinary.

Lovelock is a world-renowned scientist and environmentalist whose Gaia theory — that the Earth operates as a single, living organism — has had a profound impact on the development of global warming theory.

Unlike many “environmentalists,” who have degrees in political science, Lovelock, until his recent retirement at age 92, was a much-honoured working scientist and academic.

His inventions have been used by NASA, among many other scientific organizations.

Lovelock’s invention of the electron capture detector in 1957 first enabled scientists to measure CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) and other pollutants in the atmosphere, leading, in many ways, to the birth of the modern environmental movement.

Having observed that global temperatures since the turn of the millennium have not gone up in the way computer-based climate models predicted, Lovelock acknowledged, “the problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago.” Now, Lovelock has given a follow-up interview to the UK’s Guardian newspaper in which he delivers more bombshells sure to anger the global green movement, which for years worshipped his Gaia theory and apocalyptic predictions that billions would die from man-made climate change by the end of this century.

Netanyahu to Meet with Putin Concerning Obama’s Support of the Muslim Brotherhood

Russian president Vladimir Putin on short Israel visit

Prime Minister Netanyahu is meeting with Vladimir Putin concerning the rising Islamist power in the Middle East and Obama’s sponsorship of the Muslim Brotherhood:

Putin counts US President Barack Obama’s sponsorship of Muslim Brotherhood power as a strategic threat to Russian national security

Is Israel about to sever ties with the United States? Or is PM Netanyahu facing the truth: Obama has abandoned Israel and is supporting the establishment of a new Muslim Caliphate. If PM Netanyahu has come to this conclusion, what will the US military do when they face the truth?

Putin-Netanyahu talks to focus on rising Islamist power: Cairo then Damascus

The Muslim Brotherhood’s rise to power in Egypt – and soon, possibly, in Syria – will have pushed to the sidelines such obvious topics as Iran and gas when Monday, June 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin on a short visit to Israel meets Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

What Happens When the Rules Stop Changing?

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

Are people warning about the upcoming economic collapse economic prophets? People’s warnings have been marginalized about the economy for a simple reason: it has not happened. If the predictions based on their projections had been accurate, our economy would have already collapsed. The truth is that the economy should have collapse but the rules have been changed so that “kicking the can down the road” has extended this economic cycle. What rules have been changed? Some are rules, some are modifications and some facts are hidden intentionally. Here are some questions to ask yourself about what you would have done three years ago if you were convinced that the following events would have occurred by today.

1. The government would pay unemployed people for 99 weeks (or more) to not work. The resulting debt to the federal government to pay these benefits is in the billions for most states.

2. The government in conjunction with the Federal Reserve would implement two stimulus plans.

3. The unemployment rate would reach 10%.

4. The unemployment rate would appear to drop due to manipulation of the total work force by the bureau of labor statistics.

5. Gasoline would double. Continue reading

LIE TO ME – ANN BARNHARDT

I post Ann Barnhardt’s articles in their complete form because she does not keep them as separate archival posts for the future. I empathize with her because I have been in the same situation. People want to have hope in the political parties but our history proves that our only hope is in God and the people. This is not a message people want to hear. Is there a difference between the truth and an individual’s version of the truth? In some cases. Ann Barnhardt nails this one on the head.

POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT – JUNE 24, AD 2012 8:20 PM MST
A little confluence of events this week has brought to the fore of my mind the sad, sick reality that most people in this culture are so far gone that they WANT to be lied to, and will seek out and attach themselves to liars. While it is nauseating to behold, it is also interesting in a clinical sort of way.First, I helped some guys out in outing a con artist blogger earlier this week. What was fascinating was watching people cling to their “friend” even while being beaten over the head with objective evidence over and over and over again. Seeing it on a micro level was jarring, but then I realized that it was exactly the same Stockholm Syndrome variant that keeps people loyal to these scumbag politicians and cult leaders. People get themselves into such “herd” and “team” mentalities (which is just a fraction of an inch away from being a “gang” mentality) that they will do absolutely anything for the psychopath that they are attached to. Think Hitler. Think Jim Jones. Think Obama.

Which segues into my speaking engagement Thursday for a Tea Party group here in Colorado. As I was setting up my PowerPoint and clicker, one of the Tea Party fellows came up to me and told me that I shouldn’t talk about islam to this group, and that I should refrain from any “extreme facial expressions.” I poop you negative.

Well, as you can imagine, that was like dangling a steak in front of an already irate and half-starved Rottweiler. My interior response?

How Do We Know Who to Vote for If You Keep Changing Your Endorsements?

 VANCE PATTERSON – ENDORSED!

Vance Patterson: 10th Congressional District –
North Carolina

Website: http://vancenc.com/

Challenger, seeking to unseat 3rd term incumbent
Patrick McHenry (R)

Republican Primary Election: May 4th, 2010

The above endorsement is from iCaucus from 2010: http://www.icaucus.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=210&catid=76&font-size=larger

The iCaucus site currently lists Dr. Dan Eichenbaum as the endorsed candidate.  Due to redistricting, Vance Patterson is running in the 11th district against Mark Meadows in a run off primary. Asheville Tea Party stated on May 21st that the two candidates were tied in the vetting process:

The iCaucus vetting process yielded a dead even tie between Mark Meadows and Vance Patterson. Thus, iCaucus and the Affiliate Groups did not endorse one over the other for the primary.

But Asheville Tea Party (an affiliate group of iCaucus) has endorsed Mark Meadows for this seat:

Tea Party Backs Candidates in GOP July 17th Primary Run-Off

Five candidates in the Republican primary run-off on July 17th have been endorsed by the Asheville Tea Party Political Action Committee (ATPAC).

CNN: Syrian downing of Turkish plane condemned; NATO to meet

Istanbul (CNN) — Western leaders roundly condemned the downing of a Turkish military fighter jet by Syria ahead of a NATO meeting on Tuesday on the issue.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday said she had spoken with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu about Friday’s incident.

Turkey took its case to NATO, a spokeswoman for the alliance confirmed. Turkey, a key member of the group, is expected to make a presentation on the incident in Brussels Tuesday.

It called for the meeting under NATO’s Article 4, which deals with what happens when the “territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.”

British Foreign Minister William Hague Sunday called the incident “outrageous” and said he condemned it wholeheatedly.”

“The Assad regime should not make the mistake of believing that it can act with impunity. It will be held to account for its behavior,” Hague said.

The plane was participating in a test of Turkey’s national radar system, Davutoglu said.

Tillis’ Bridge to Nowhere

Recent actions by Speaker Thom Tillis have riled eastern North Carolinians.  Many wonder why the Speaker of the House would be meddling in their local State House and Senate races.  Is he doing it for money? For his ego? Nay, I say.  Rather, we must ask the age old question:  Cui bono?

To understand why he’s meddling, we have to look at the Speaker’s goals and then figure out how his meddling could help him achieve those goals.  It’s like a puzzle.  You have to see the big picture on the box before the pieces start to make sense.  The picture on the Tillis’ box looks like this:

All this meddling is being done for a reason.  Speaker Tillis is trying to build a bridge.  A bridge, he hopes, that will carry him from North Carolina to Washington D.C.  The trouble for Tillis is that he’s building that bridge on a crumbling foundation, the coalition of so-called moderates or former blue-dog Democrats in Eastern North Carolina, the coalition that kept Marc Basnight in power for more than two decades.

It’s widely expected that Tillis will seek the Republican nomination for the US Senate seat held by Kay Hagan in 2014.  He and President Pro Tem Berger are the only names being talked about this early in the process.  He’s trying to lock up support in eastern NC among both Republicans and Democrats by playing both sides of the aisle.  His strategy is two pronged.  It involves (1) the giving of political favors to eastern NC Democratic Reps and (2) encouraging ousted eastern NC Democrats to switch parties and then supporting them in General Assembly races in return for support in 2014.

What Liberty Requires of YOU …

Dishonor Government Before God

The touchy subject of criminality continues to plague the patriot community. I hate to break it to the readership that criminality is necessary to any action against a tyrannical force. There would be no United States of America without the understanding and acceptance of the fact of criminality.

At the recent Liberty Summit I heard many proposals as to how to go about re-claiming liberty. Some illegal actions were proffered and quickly and resoundingly rejected. Okay, if that was a show for the presumed DHS official presence, then fine, but if that were a true sentiment among the patriot population, we have already lost any battle to reclaim liberty.

Make no mistake, this nation was founded by treasonous, graffitiest, thieves and rogues. To pretend to any other prospect is to give in to delusion. Just look at the lives of those who signed the Declaration of Independence to understand what they were willing to sacrifice to live free.

The very statement that we pledge our “lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor” had a definite meaning to them, more than to their persecutors. They would die, they would forfeit all their worldly goods and even the thing they held most dear, their sacred honor. These were not mere words to the men who knew that crossing that line, taking that step toward independence meant everything they loved, including their valued and cherished honor would be stripped from them, put on billboards (not the kind we think of) as to their treasonous acts.

GREEN IS THE NEW RED – Glenn Beck

The U.N. Conference on Sustainable Development closed Friday in Rio de Janeiro after having brought 100 world leaders and more than 45,000 people to Brazil to discuss reconciling economic and environmental aspirations. While the global summit itself has already cost tens of millions of dollars, world-wide adoption of far-reaching policy to address global warming may end up costing more. Glenn Beck sat down with several authors and analysts during his broadcast Friday who are skeptical of global warming and the effects of policy aimed at advocating green jobs. Twenty years ago the U.N. held the same summit in Rio that would give birth to a renewed enthusiasm in environmentalism and global warming awareness. The panel on GBTV Friday broke down the views and policy advocated by activists coming out of Rio in 1992, and how their predictions have proven to be inconsistent and extremely expensive.

“It is not a present reality, it’s a hoax” said Beck Friday. “The way the media talks about global warming is ridiculous.

Military Rolls Tanks Onto St. Louis Streets

Brandon Smith
Alt-Market.com

I have to say that this event, which is being labeled a “training exercise”, makes very little sense to me.  U.S. Army troops all the way from Maryland running open exercises in armored personnel carriers on the busy streets of St. Louis?  I know Maryland is a small state, but is there really not enough room at Ft. Detrick to accommodate a tank column and some troops?  Are there not entire fake neighborhood and town complexes built with taxpayer dollars on military bases across the country meant to facilitate a realistic urban environment for troops to train in?  And why travel hundreds of miles to Missouri?  At the very least, this is a massive waste of funds.

On the other hand, such an action on the part of the Department of Defense makes perfect sense if the goal is to acclimate citizens to the idea of seeing tanks and armed military acting in a policing capacity.  Just check out the two random idiots the local news affiliate picked to interview in St. Louis on the subject.  Both state that they think the exercise is a “great idea”, because having the military on the streets would help to “reduce crime”:

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/06/us-military-to-run-urban-exercises-in-north-st-louis-residents-hope-it-will-cut-down-on-crime/

I suspect that the news affiliate did not go out of its way to get any counter-opinions, even though they admitted to being contacted by those voicing concerns over martial law.
