‘IAF expects losses, and knows it can’t destroy entire Iranian program’

A major Israel TV station on Sunday night broadcast a detailed report on how Israel will go about attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities in the event that diplomacy and sanctions fail and Israel decides to carry out a military strike.

The report, screened on the main evening news of Channel 10, was remarkable both in terms of the access granted to the reporter, who said he had spent weeks with the pilots and other personnel he interviewed, and in the fact that his assessments on a strike were cleared by the military censor.

The Victors Write the War History, but Should Their Lies be Immortal?

Does anyone really want to fight the American Civil War again? I didn’t think so. After all this was a dark period in our history and the resulting victory of the Union over the evil confederacy freed us from slavery. Well not quite, as anyone who even does a little research will quickly realize. What lessons should we never forget as a moral nation?

1. Slavery must never be tolerated in any form.

2. The victors write history to suit their goals but that does not make it true.

What were the goals of the Civil War from Lincoln’s viewpoint: preservation of the Union at all costs. The first casualty was the Constitution. After the war and peace was declared, slavery was abolished by the 13th amendment. Our nation then underwent a new revolution under the “leadership” of the Radical Republicans. Reconstruction and the 14th amendment destroyed states’ rights and centralized government in Washington, DC. The previous “united States” became the “United States”.

In 2002, the United States conducted a three week war game called the Millennium Challenge. This exercise was a simulation of a war between the United States and Iran in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. The following article outlines the result of this exercise. Let us hope that the military has learned from this $250 million game that we lost. The larger question is how much of this information will Iran use against our three aircraft carriers and their auxiliary ships currently in the Persian Gulf when war breaks out?

Our founding fathers gave us a republic with the admonition that only a moral people will be able to keep it. Most of our elected officials have failed us and our nation in this respect. We control our fate, not our government. The Lord gave us free will in order that we would be able to make moral choices and grow spiritually. Socialism will only succeed and thrive by displacing religion as we cannot serve two masters. The choice between good and evil has never been so clear. Nor has its consequences.

A former North Carolina Democratic Party staffer was sexually harassed by a party official, made a financial settlement with the party and signed a non-disclosure agreement to keep the incident quiet.

“If this hits the media, the Democratic Party, our candidates, and our credibility are doomed in this election,”  reads one email exchange between state Democratic leaders.

Rebuild the Dream

Hooray! We did it!!!

We found out last night that my book, Rebuild the Dream, made the New York Times Best Seller List, at #15 for the week of April 22!!!

Unbelievable. This is what we were working so hard for, but it was always a LONG shot. We had the only book to make the list put out by a small, independent publisher. We didn’t have a slick, expensive, corporate PR machine to get the word out. Instead, you, our grassroots network, did it with some serious elbow grease. Dozens of the nation’s top progressive organizations also stepped up in the most generous ways possible to spread the word.

To all of you: thank you! Thank you for making this happen. I want to hug each and every one of you!!!

This is an achievement for all of us. We showed that our ideas — progressive solutions — are best-selling ideas in America. The New York Times Best Seller List gives books a whole new level of exposure. Our movement’s story and solutions will be in bookstores and airport newsstands all over the country. We can fix the economy and reclaim our democracy, so that it works for everyone.

The threat to our state’s definition of marriage is real. In fact, North Carolina is the only remaining southern state that has not protected the definition of marriage in its constitution.

Don’t be Fooled! In an attempt to divorce the Marriage Amendment from marriage, opponents deceptively call it “Amendment One.” Do not be mistaken on Election Day. The only initiative that will appear on the ballot this May 8th is the Marriage Amendment, NOT “Amendment One.”

Marriage Protection Amendment: Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.

I Guess Marriage Is Against Communist Principles Now

Recently, President Barack Obama made his voice heard and came out against Amendment One. Amendment One is a proposed constutional change that would threaten the rights of same sex couples, and would have serious harmful consequences for thousands of families in North Carolina – gay or straight.
The North Carolina Democratic Party is firmly committed to fighting against any proposal that would harm children, seniors or families. That is why NCDP passed a resolution and we are encouraging all Democrats in our state to vote against Amendment One on May 8th to keep North Carolina on the right side of history.
