Obama Nominee Trying To Defend WH Budget Deception

The Budget Committee held a hearing today to consider the nomination of Heather Higginbottom to be President Obama’s deputy budget director. Sen. Sessions confronted the nominee over false assertions from the White House regarding the president’s budget.

Both President Obama and his budget director have repeatedly said that the president’s budget allows us to “live within our means,” “spend money that we have each year,” and “begin paying down our debt.” (http://1.usa.gov/hvENzK,http://youtu.be/rTuzmyMwH7E) Numerous fact-check organizations have found these statements to be false, (http://goo.gl/ZuitF) and Sessions has argued that these inaccurate claims undermine efforts to confront our growing fiscal crisis.

In reality, the budget that President Obama submitted adds $13 trillion to the debt, never has a deficit less than $600 billion, and spends more than it takes in every single year. And by the tenth year, interest payments on our debt will rise to $844 billion–more than we spend on Medicare or defense.

Occasionally in the past, I have received emails from readers asking me if it was time to leave America because of some new infringement on our rights. In the past, I always responded to these emails by saying that it really depended on who the reader was. Anyone, I usually replied, who was in the securities-brokerage industry or the medical profession should start looking, because of how regulated those industries are. If on the other hand, a surfer dude just living for the next wave, would have little reason to be concerned.Things have changed so dramatically in the last 6 to 12 months that I now believe you are being irresponsible, no matter who you are, if you do not have a bagged packed and are ready to move at a moment’s notice.

The United States of Sharia

The United States is a republic based on the rule of law. Whose law? Our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian religious tenets. Activist U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange has overridden the voice of the people in Oklahoma today by overturning their state’s law banning Sharia or International law from consideration in court proceedings. Seventy percent of the voters in Oklahoma voted for the passage of this legislation which has now been rendered moot in another example of a politically correct judiciary working against the people.

Once again, we were warned about the judiciary “sapping, by little and little, the foundations of the constitution” by Thomas Jefferson:

At the establishment of our constitutions, the judiciary bodies were supposed to be the most helpless and harmless members of the government. NDAA – I Told You So

I believe that saying “I told you so” to prove that I was right is only self-serving to me and does nothing productive. In this case, I will make an exception since the stakes are so high. In a previous article, I wrote the following:

Fifty occupiers were arrested today (December 17th, 2011) in New York City. Most law-abiding citizens are probably thinking this is a good thing. We can let the occupiers continue to test the limits of authority for the rest of the country.

My point was to let the occupiers test the limits of the new NDAA act to show America what was coming. The following video filmed in Grand Central Station shows what happens to people (occupiers) who are standing up against the NDAA’s attack on freedom:

Headed to Town Council…
The Town of Blowing Rock is proposing an ANTI SELF-DEFENSE ordinance that would prohibit concealed carry permit holders from protecting themselves and their loved ones in certain areas of its park system .  These areas include picnic pavilions and restroom facilities.  Posting these areas is illegal under the recently passed “Castle Doctrine” (HB650) by the N.C. State Legislature which states only playgrounds, athletic fields, swimming pools and athletic facilities may be posted.  However, just because you can pass an ordinance does not mean you should.  An ordinance discriminating against law abiding permit holders is not the answer. Resistance to the Community Reinvestment Act Is Futile

Our nation’s banks must submit to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). As shown in this video, Rep. Royce outlines that the CRA was a contributing factor in the housing crisis.

“CRA acted as a bargaining tool for activist organizations”, according to Rep. Royce. This redistribution of our savings to people who were and still are high credit risks is the goal of this administration. Banks are still audited for CRA compliance and now the Federal Reserve wants the government (meaning the people) to bailout distressed borrowers’ loan balances.

You Cannot Fault This Logic

Although I strongly believe in an upcoming economic collapse based on the worldwide debt of $1.5 quadrillion, the following report gives a different perspective of a collapse based on a natural disaster or terrorist attack. The premise is simple: our governments and businesses have not prepared contingency plans to ensure their future.

The point that I would like to suggest is also simple: what harm would happen if you made preparedness plans for a three month period? The worst case is that your food will be confiscated by the government under executive order 10988. If nothing happens and life continues without interruption, then you don’t have to buy food for three months and will probably have saved some money due to inflation.

So what is stopping you?
