Leaving Blobtopia

A nation can only take so much corruption, crime, and unreality.  ”We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality,” said Karl Rove, veteran blobster and advisor to George W. Bush, when he uttered those fateful words. Even political junkies forget the rest of what he said:

And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.”

Old Karl was being too polite, you understand. What he meant to say is: We’re gonna lay trip after trip on you, all of you smart-asses watching the political scene until your over-mis-educated Ivy League brains turn into something that resembles a patty-melt so that you’re lost in a fog of incoherent blabbery, parroting whatever nonsense we proffer as we asset-strip what’s left of Western Civ.

What they call “the cognitive infrastructure” of we-the-people has been twisted, crinkled, folded, looped, and twiddled until it’s nearer a state of criticality than the ten-thousand rusted-out bridges on our county roads. This week, the FCC board voted to adopt new rules to “prevent and eliminate digital discrimination.” Sounds great, huh? Reality check: I do not think that the words mean what you think they mean. They are, rather, an invitation to the rest of the US government — any malicious blob-driven agency — to meddle with the Internet, block content that they don’t like, and conduct mind-fuckery operations to their heart’s delight. Uh-oh, I think they just destroyed the Internet.

Who Is the Enemy?

Wes posted an image concerning monsters in a post.

Based on the comments, let me suggest that we first have to identify the monsters (enemy). Let’s suppose that our enemy is the federal government, then who else considers the government of the US to be their enemy? The list is quite long:

  1. Islam considers the US (and its people) to be the Great Satan.
  2. Russian speaking people in the Dunbos were attacked by Ukraine such that after years of bombing, Russia finally intervened in their behalf. The proxy war in Ukraine is still a war between Russia and the West.
  3. China wants Taiwan and has had sanctions and tariffs imposed on them by the US. Biden calls President Xi a dictator during his visit to San Francisco.

Some say Israel is the enemy but I want you to consider the Sanskrit adage:

The enemy of my enemy is my friend

I do not believe it. The founding fathers had wise policies concerning interaction with other countries. Thomas Jefferson summed it up perfectly:

Power corrupts independently of the level of power. We see that in action in our local, state and federal government diktats.

I do not subscribe to the policy of making alliances with other groups or countries based on a common enemy. Should we consider making alliances based on who is our friend? Should we consider making no alliances and being friend (neutral) to all? Those questions should be answered first and then we must decide who the enemy is to our people.

The answer for me as to whom the enemy is obvious: the federal government. No entity has a more direct influence over our lives in every manner and the result is slavery, despair and death. Imagine if the federal government was put back in its box as defined by the Constitution. Imagine if we stopped US hegemony around the world and rebuilt America. Imagine if the people in the United States were not divided by the federal government, big business and the media.

I hope that you consider the above questions but the bottom line is that our enemy has been defined by the federal government and they are mobilizing against the good people who believed in the American Dream. Do you consider the following groups to be friends or enemies:

  1. Antifa
  2. Black Lives Matter
  3. Any three letter federal agency
  4. Any form of media
  5. Hollywood
  6. Gender Identify syncophants
  7. Vaccine supporters
  8. Ukraine supporters
  9. Israel supporters
  10. Climate change supporters

Some of the above may not be the enemy. Can determine who is the “enemy” if we stop being diverted by all of the factions dividing us?

What can I do? I use can use critical thinking skills to determine a course of action with a firm reliance on Divine Providence. I must determine who is trustworthy and build relationships to build a community. I must not let myself become distracted by those events, news or issues that I have no control over. I must remember the purpose of government: protect our borders and secure our property. Everything else is a power grab for someone else’s motives.

Without consequences, the “law” becomes a tool to control us. We see how voter fraud without consequences has led our nation to the brink of WWIII with nuclear options on the table. I do not see how much worse it can become as a dystopian future appear to be certain.

It is probable that many of our “enemies” outside the country are manufactured by our government, our government’s actions, religious ideology and misunderstandings. I believe taking back our nation and becoming honorable, moral and righteous will make most of those enemies disappear. One fact is unassailable: evil controls the US federal government and that makes them my enemy. It is an enemy that I cannot defeat by myself but I can withhold my consent. If enough of us withhold our consent, it is the first step. I have a “feeling” that the government is now realizing the importance of the people who built this country, have faith in God and who are becoming very “aware”.

The hegemon with clay feet and the impending Apocalypse, the West is dehumanizing at a rapid pace

Alexey Belov

As recently stated by Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele while addressing Americans, the United States will crumble from within because the most formidable enemy for the current global hegemon is internal, not external.

“No external threat could inflict such damage. The results are evident. I judge by your cities. Just 30 years ago, they were virginally beautiful. Now they are desolate. Look at me. I am from El Salvador, from a third-world country, from Central America. But I look at your cities and think, ‘I don’t want to live here.’ Thirty years ago, it was unthinkable for a Salvadoran to reject life in an American city. Los Angeles, New York, Chicago. These cities are rapidly deteriorating. It is not by chance; someone planned it.” End of quote.

Well, it seems to be the verdict for the West-centric model of the world. A model that has essentially existed for centuries and firmly established itself during the so-called Age of Discovery. Wherever Homo occidentalis, the Western man, went, he brought with him the brightest achievements of Western civilization—lethal weapons, slavery, ruthless exploitation, and a phenomenal, almost inhuman cruelty.

And now, as the colonial order created by the West crumbles before our eyes, to which, by the way, we have contributed significantly— in 2022 (the beginning of the Cold War II), in 2014 (the return of Crimea and the start of the Russian Spring), and even in 2007 (Putin’s famous speech in Munich)—the inevitable decline of the West itself is happening. It is a West that neither knows nor wants to live differently.

It’s not just that the United States and all other Western countries long ago ceased to represent the showcase of the American Dream. The problems run much deeper: through the efforts of local activists, politicians, and various corporations like Disney, the once blessed West has turned into a gathering of crazy freaks of all kinds, essentially engaging in self-destruction.

Ponderings

I’d like to thank Tim Smith for being willing to share a dialog with me, and with you. There was an old bit of advice making the rounds when I was growing up, “Don’t discuss politics or religion.” Well, I think most of us active on this site have failed that advice miserably. There’s also another old adage I recall, “Don’t judge a man (person, for the politically sensitive) until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes.”

So I’d like to share a very few of the things I’ve learned.

As a Christian, I had always be told that Pagans were demon possessed, devil worshippers, ‘lost souls’, etc. Personally, I identified metal music, excessive tattoos, the ‘Goth’ look of black lipstick and clothing, skinheads, and use of pentagrams, among other things as ‘Pagan’, but since ‘words mean things’, what’s the actual definition?

Pagan: (from classical Latin pāgānus “rural”, “rustic”, later “civilian”) is a term first used in the fourth century by early Christians for people in the Roman Empire who practiced polytheism, or ethnic religions other than Judaism. (Lately we could add agnostics, atheists, Muslims, and Christians to Judaism).

There are several groups folks call ‘pagan’ these days. We have the Skinheads, White Supremacists, Neo-Nazis, Wiccans, New Agers, Satanists, agnostics, atheists, and finally, those who actually study and attempt to live their lives based on what I call The Old Ways of our Germanic pre-Christian ancestors. Such people identify as Odinists or Asatruars (true to the Gods). I was surprised to learn that there is a sizable minority of the latter in Europe and the United Kingdom, recognized by their respective governments and worshipping openly. So from the list of Pagans mentioned above, one might realize that the term ‘Pagan’ is not all inclusive anymore that the term ‘Christian’ is all inclusive (Baptists to Catholics and everything in between). And if one wants to make an argument that Christianity is different in this regard, I’d remind them that Catholics consider all Protestants ‘lost’, Baptists and Pentecostals pretty much think they’re the only ones to be ‘saved’.

So what is important to the Odinist, the Asatruar, or the one following The Old Ways? There are three cornerstones of belief: the sacredness of nature, reverence for our ancestors, and the Divine within ourselves. Unlike the Abrahamic religions, there are no ‘doctrines of men’ and there is no ‘book’. This is a folkish faith. I hesitate to even call it a religion. It is a way of living. There are Nine Noble Virtues: Courage, Discipline, Fidelity, Honor, Hospitality, Industriousness, Perseverance, Self-Reliance, and Truth. People following this path do not accept the concept of ‘original sin’ and feel no need to be ‘saved’. They live their lives based on the Virtues and take full responsibility for their actions and lack thereof. As the Apostle Paul suggested, “Work out your own salvation in fear and trembling’. This is where I come down after much prayer and study – both theological and secular historical. It’s mine so you need not feel threatened by it.

I guess you could say that I follow in the steps of Thomas Jefferson as a deist. I believe there is a Creator of All/Allfather who created the universe with Natural Laws and cycles and then stepped back to allow it to work like a clock. So how do I reconcile that belief with the pantheon of Gods and Goddesses? To minds incapable of grasping the Totality of God, peoples revering their most excellent ancestors as partial/imperfect manifestations of His perfection makes sense. These folks believe the Gods to have been actual humans of great renown. Some followers of The Old Ways believe these Gods to be real deities. Others, like myself, tend to view them as Carl Jung did, as archetypes. Odin sacrificed an eye for wisdom, so I should be likewise be willing to make sacrifices for wisdom, as just one example.

You may ask why I bothered with this post. Your mind is made up. A couple of reasons. First, I wanted you to understand that people following The Old Ways are not evil. They care about traditional values, their families, the good, the beautiful and the true, just like most Christians. Secondly, to remind you that ‘iron sharpens iron’. There is nothing to fear and much to gain with an exchange of ideas. What I’m not attempting to do is evangelize anyone. We each have our own ‘walk’ in this life and I think we all agree that in some way, shape, or form, we will all ultimately be held responsible for that walk. So, for anyone so interested, I’ll offer this email address if you want to amicably discuss any of this in private. I find that such discussion in a public forum tends to lead to defensiveness that negates much of the benefit. The email address is: Ponderings@proton.me. I promise to keep any discussions confidential.

We have a big fight ahead, and since ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’, let’s fight together!

Why We Are Sleepwalking Into Tyranny

Authored by Bryce Buchanan via American Thinker,

The world is heading quite rapidly toward tyranny.  We are in a revolutionary period that will dramatically change civilization.  Few people understand the gravity of our situation.  Here are some of the reasons why the majority of people seem oblivious to the danger.  These psychological shortcomings explain why we are sleepwalking into tyranny.

The Normalcy Bias “is a cognitive bias that occurs in times of crisis, leading us to disregard any signs or warnings that we are in danger. … Normalcy bias is a defense mechanism that lulls us into thinking life will just continue as it always has.”  It is a reassuring presumption that things will get better, or, at least things will not take a dramatic change for the worse.

But steady progress is not the way the world works.  History is a story of the rise and fall of civilizations.  Tyranny, poverty, and servitude are the normal state of mankind, and it would not be difficult at all to return to that state.  The pattern of history is that humans make some progress, and then evil men do evil things and stupid men do stupid things, and the civilization crumbles.  The normalcy bias can stop people from seeing this.

You may have confidence in constant improvement because the people you know are good, productive people who are kind to others.  You assume that most people are like that.  But you need to notice that there are also evil people who have decided that their role is to manage your life.  They are self-appointed shepherds, and they see you as their sheep.  This is the essence of tyranny.  If these evil people are also foolish, they may think that they can manage the world economy and force all the “little” people to act in a way that creates utopia…. a great leap forward.

Centrally managed economies have been tried many times.  They always fail, often spectacularly.

House offices locked down as lawmakers are evacuated from DNC protest

Protesters outside the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. calling for a ceasefire in Gaza on Nov. 15, 2023. Photo: Alex Wong/Getty Images.

Lawmakers were evacuated from the Democratic National Committee headquarters and House office buildings locked down on Wednesday after law enforcement clashed with protesters pressing for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.

Why it matters: The incident, which resulted in arrests, marks the latest in a series of large demonstrations on Capitol Hill over the Middle East conflict that have been putting Capitol security on edge.

  • The DNC was hosting a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee candidate event at the time, with multiple Democratic leaders present including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), two House Democrats told Axios.

What they’re saying: The Capitol Police said in a statement that six officers were treated for injuries “ranging from minor cuts to being pepper sprayed to being punched.”

Censorship of Bin Laden’s Letter to America

Bin Laden’s letter to America gives his justification for his jihad with America. Here is the original location in English as of Nov. 15, 2023:

This page previously displayed a document containing, in translation, the full text of Osama bin Laden’s “letter to the American people”, as reported in the Observer on Sunday 24 November 2002. The document, which was published here on the same day, was removed on 15 November 2023.

Here is a copy:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those (believers) who are fought against, because they have been wronged and surely, Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory [Quran 22:39]

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (anything worshipped other than Allah e.g. Satan). So fight you against the friends of Satan; ever feeble is indeed the plot of Satan [Quran 4:76]

Some American writers have published articles under the title ‘On what basis are we fighting?’ These articles have generated a number of responses, some of which adhered to the truth and were based on Islamic Law, and others which have not. Here we wanted to outline the truth – as an explanation and warning – hoping for Allah’s reward, seeking success and support from Him.

While seeking Allah’s help, we form our reply based on two questions directed at the Americans:

(Q1) Why are we fighting and opposing you?
Q2)What are we calling you to, and what do we want from you?
