The last two weeks have ushered in a wave of new domestic police powers and rhetoric in the name of fighting “terrorism” that are carbon copies of many of the worst excesses of the first War on Terror that began nearly twenty years ago. This trend shows no sign of receding as we move farther from the January 6 Capitol riot. The opposite is true: it is intensifying.

We have witnessed an orgy of censorship from Silicon Valley monopolies with calls for far more aggressive speech policing, a visibly militarized Washington, D.C. featuring a non-ironically named “Green Zone,” vows from the incoming president and his key allies for a new anti-domestic terrorism bill, and frequent accusations of “sedition,” “treason,” and “terrorism” against members of Congress and citizens. This is all driven by a radical expansion of the meaning of “incitement to violence.” It is accompanied by viral-on-social-media pleas that one work with the FBI to turn in one’s fellow citizens (See Something, Say Something!) and demands for a new system of domestic surveillance.

Underlying all of this are immediate insinuations that anyone questioning any of this must, by virtue of these doubts, harbor sympathy for the Terrorists and their neo-Nazi, white supremacist ideology. Liberals have spent so many years now in a tight alliance with neocons and the CIA that they are making the 2002 version of John Ashcroft look like the President of the (old-school) ACLU.

The more honest proponents of this new domestic War on Terror are explicitly admitting that they want to model it on the first one. A New York Times reporter noted on Monday that a “former intelligence official on PBS NewsHour” said “that the US should think about a ‘9/11 Commission’ for domestic extremism and consider applying some of the lessons from the fight against Al Qaeda here at home.” More amazingly, Gen. Stanley McChrystal — for years head of Joint Special Operations Command in Iraq and the commander of the war in Afghanistan — explicitly compared that war to this new one, speaking to Yahoo News:

I did see a similar dynamic in the evolution of al-Qaida in Iraq, where a whole generation of angry Arab youth with very poor prospects followed a powerful leader who promised to take them back in time to a better place, and he led them to embrace an ideology that justified their violence. This is now happening in America….I think we’re much further along in this radicalization process, and facing a much deeper problem as a country, than most Americans realize.”

I would offer some views concerning the above video but what is the point? The people who now control this country’s government have turned the concept of making American great again into a war designed to destroy Americans. This will not end well.

Because of current events, and while the experience Wes had is fresh in our minds, now is probably a pretty good time to remind everyone of these words of wisdom:
Never, EVER talk to the FBI. Silence is not a crime. Never let them enter your home, unless they have a warrant, and if they do, be sure to call your local sheriff’s office to request a deputy be there.

If you find yourself compelled to speak to the FBI, HAVE YOUR LAWYER PRESENT. Until your lawyer gets there, SAY NOTHING. Never, EVER talk to the FBI.

Don’t get caught by surprise. ANTICIPATE and ASSUME that the FBI will come to your home, knock on your door, or invade your place of work.

THIS IS INTIMIDATION.

They will try to catch you in a lie, or confuse and rattle you into saying something that may not be entirely accurate, even if it’s not a lie. THIS IS WHAT THEY DO, and they’re very good at it. Then, they will charge you with a crime. Lying to an FBI agent is a serious federal crime and you can face up to 5 years in prison. Say nothing, and if you start to say something, shut the hell up. When they come to you, they are not your friends. Don’t talk to them, and politely ask them to leave. If you remember nothing else, remember this word: LAWYER.

Just like you never consent to a search of your home or vehicle, never, EVER talk to the FBI… nothing good will ever come of it.

Even my ability to travel has all been restricted, as I am permanently banned on Uber and Lyft.

I can’t even have a sandwich delivered because I’ve been banned on UberEats.

What I haven’t shared with you is that last year, I found out my 2^nd Amendment rights have also been stripped without warning or explanation…”

Alleged members of anti-government militia groups and a U.S. Army Reservist with alleged White supremacist beliefs are among the latest suspects charged in the U.S. Capitol attack as prosecutors probe rioters who used military-style tactics. Dozens of suspects are now facing federal and local charges in the January 6 assault that left five people dead.

More charges linked to the groups, which recruit heavily from military and law enforcement, are being brought, a law enforcement official told CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge. Evidence against them raises more questions about coordination among the mob that stormed the Capitol, the law enforcement official said.

Identification of rioters who used military-style tactics is a tier one priority for a task force of senior prosecutors in D.C. investigating possible sedition charges, Herridge reported.

The Three Percenters and the Oath Keepers are both part of an extremist movement that has grown since President Barack Obama took office in 2008, according to the Anti-Defamation League. The groups promote the idea that the government is plotting to take away the rights of U.S. citizens and must be resisted.
