DHS Terrorists: Vets and Hunters – T.L. Davis

TLDavisThe term “Keyboard Commando” is being bandied about a lot lately. We are at a critical time. Those who work against us are starting to find ways to belittle us as they did the Tea Party. The American media is anxious to discredit us, to demonize us, anything to keep the truth of guns as the prevention of crime from being considered. They live on restriction; of limiting liberty. They are not about to concede this discussion without giving it their best effort to outlaw any gun they can anywhere they can. They want desperately to make us look like a bunch of fools who will not stand when it is obvious that we should.

Some in our community assist the liberals out of a good and decent place. They are afraid that now is not the time to act. Not all of us in the community agree on when and how. But, if one is intent on aiding the community in some way, there is always something one can do. If you are not ready to get off the couch, I suggest you get involved somehow. I would prefer you donate to a legal defense fund for those who are suffering from the illegal laws passed by New York, New Jersey, Illinois and the District of Columbia. Right now Keith Pantaleon needs your help. An illegal entry into his home, without being issued a warrant, apparently outed as a gun owner by his landlord. He arose to the sounds of police already in his living room, given access by his landlord’s key. My finances are tight, but I will not let this opportunity to put some fight into his case go unaddressed.

Stand4Keith & Fight Police Tyranny in NJ…

Keith Pantaleon needs a min of $10,000 just to retain a legal firm to work on the case. So whatever you can do to help publicize this issue and the fund raising effort would be greatly appreciated. The link is http://www.gofundme.com/Stand4Keith.

From Stand4Keith:

On Thursday January 25th around 10:30 pm, Keith Pantaleon was in his apartment when he heard a noise outside of his bedroom door. The 2nd time he heard it he opened the door and found someone standing in his living room. Not knowing what was going on he did have his notebook in his hand which contained his weapon that he has in his home for protection. When he looked towards his front door he saw that it was opened and the landlord was outside the door with a police officer. When the man in the living room turned around he saw that he was also an officer so he threw his notebook containing the weapon on the bed. The officer asked what it was he threw on the bed and barged into the bedroom. When he discovered it was a weapon he arrested Keith right inside of his home.

Women in Combat: Battling Nature, Battering Reality

Are you getting just a little tired of seeing women defeat men in action movies these days? Of the heroine physically destroying the male villain and saving the poor male ‘hero’ that can’t take care of himself? Sure, we understand that this is ridiculous and slough it off as ‘just Hollywood’ the same as when brutal fistfights in the saloon never seem to result in bloody noses or lips. But is something else in play?

I’m a former Scoutmaster. Some years ago, Scouting decided it would be a good idea to allow women to be Boy Scout leaders. Now, I had a problem with this. Women are nurturers by nature. Men are challengers. Men are examples for boys and women for girls. So how can a woman teach a boy to be a man?

In an age with so many fatherless homes, what better place for boys to have male role models than the Boy Scouts? But how can a female Scout leader illustrate that male role?

In one weekend adult leadership training course, we had two women participate. We had a fairly easy backpack hike up a mountain. The guys all geared up and prepared to hit the trail. A pickup drove up and the women’s packs were placed in the bed of the truck. Seems they were being given special treatment. One of my friends took his pack off and threw it in the truck, too. Equal treatment, right? Wrong. He was chastised and told to put his pack back on. Oh, and the women also rode up the mountain in the truck along with their packs. How does this kind of preferential treatment build unit cohesion? How can such women challenge boys to climb a mountain?

Vain and Aspiring Men

Slick Bobby
Vain and Aspiring Man

See additional comments on Tea Party Nation.

From The Hill:

A cloud of scandalous allegations is rapidly growing over Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), putting Democratic leaders in a difficult position as the integrity of their immigration point man in the Senate falls under question at a critical time.

The bad news keeps coming: a Senate Ethics probe, allegations involving underage prostitutes, an FBI investigation of a key campaign donor, undisclosed flights on the donor’s private plane, and now, reports linking Menendez to an existing multi-million dollar contract he urged officials to enforce for the disgraced donor.

Not only does Sen. Menendez hold one of the highest offices in the land, he is the  chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. Questions?

1. The FBI was investigating Sen. Menendez prior to the 2012 elections but were shut down by Congress. Who in Congress is suppressing investigations by the FBI?

2. How does someone with a dubious record get reelected with 71% of the vote?

3. When will Slick Bobby step down?

4. Who will replace him?

5. Why is Gov. Christie praising him for redistribution? It is not the responsibility of the federal government to redistribute money to pay for natural disasters. Remember the Georgetown fire? It is time for a national sockdolager moment.

“Christie, who rarely has nice things to say about Menendez, in early January praised him in a news conference for his efforts to get federal aid for victims of Superstorm Sandy. At a campaign stop this week in East Newark, about 10 miles from Union City, the former federal prosecutor would not say what he makes of the latest allegations.”

So where does that leave the people? Continue reading

CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU SETS SIGHTS ON RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS- MANDATORY TREASURY ALLOCATIONS IMMINENT?

images

Bloomberg has reported that the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is considering taking a role in managing the $19.4 Trillion in American’s retirement accounts.
Yes, you read that correctly, the government agency created in 2010 as part of Dodd-Frank is weighing ‘helping’ Americans manage their retirement funds…naturally by protecting them with the safety and security of Treasury bonds.

As we have been warning readers for nearly 2 years here at SD, the coming risk of confiscation is not in your gold and silver investments (the American public has nothing to confiscate), but in your pension, 401k, and IRA retirement funds through forced allocations of US Treasury paper.

Those who are unwilling to take the tax hit and get out of Dodge in time will likely soon find themselves directly funding the US ponzi scheme through their retirement funds.

Stocks Over 14,000 – Too Good to Be True?

Anthony Wile

The Dow Jones industrial average has crossed 14,000 and the US mainstream media is celebrating. Presumably the powers-that-be expect that short memories shall convince US consumers that the nation is back on track.

It’s part of a larger dominant social theme, I guess, that hard times are gradually yielding to normalcy and that the current sociopolitical and economic system is not only resilient but also sound.

This is a pretty big disconnect, in my humble point of view, given what’s REALLY going on in the world. The upper half of Africa is aflame from supposed Al Qaeda incursions and Western counter-attacks, Spanish and Greek youth unemployment is over 50 percent, China and Japan are both struggling to keep their economies afloat and in the Americas, price inflation and drug wars are unraveling the fabric of various recoveries, including most significantly Brazil and Mexico.

But let’s ignore all that.

We’re supposed to focus on the good stuff. The nation – and the world – has been through a lot but now skies are turning bluer and people shouldn’t lose faith. Twentieth century memes do indeed transpose themselves to the 21st century; if everyone is lucky and believes hard enough, “America’s Century” can repeat itself in the 21st.

Are you “buying this”?

Maineprepper accused of treason for opposing Assault Weapons Ban

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdEH61VSJEE

From YouTube:

A former subscriber who did not agree with my opposition to the proposed (and wrong) Assault Weapons Ban could not debate the issue and decided the appropriate response was to file a false report on me for treason, for advocating the violent overthrow of the US government. Something I have NEVER suggested and am in fact totally against and have stated so repeatedly in my videos and comments.

Those of you who have been here for more than a minute will know that this accusation is of course without merit; ludicrous! I am probably the premiere voice in the Prepper community that advocates working WITH your government and, as of late, encouraging and teaching you how to contact your elected representatives, showing you where to find and read the current legislation pending before the Congress and Senate.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that facts and truth are irrelevant to the gun control advocates. Moreover as they become increasingly desperate and violent, we should expect a lot more of this; abusing the system to punish political opponents has long been a tactic used by radicals and extremists when they gain power; a good reason to not vote in ANY extremists regardless of what color their flag is.

Why Are We Even Having This Conversation?

Nazi Gun Control

Himmler, head of the Nazi terror police, would become an architect of the Holocaust, which consumed six million Jews. It was self-evident that the Jews must be disarmed before the extermination could begin.

Finding out which Jews had firearms was not too difficult. The liberal Weimar Republic passed a Firearm Law in 1928 requiring extensive police records on gun owners. Hitler signed a further gun control law in early 1938.
