GRNC Alert 1-20-2013: Gunshow Accident Used to Push Anti-Gun Agenda

Demonstrates Anti-Gun Bias

The negligent discharge of a shotgun while being uncased Saturday at the Dixie Gun and Knife show at the fair grounds in Raleigh has made national news, and is being cynically used to fuel arguments against private party gun show sales.

Accidents Happen at Events of All Types
Perhaps we should thank the media for laying bare their anti-gun agenda: According to the Centers for Disease Control(1), accidental deaths in the United States for the most recent year tabulated include: 35,332 by motor vehicle, 33,041 by poisoning, 26,009 by falls, 3,782 by drowning, and only 606 by firearms — and it’s a safe bet that few if any of those were at gun shows. Given that more than six times as many people accidentally drown than die by gun accident, a truly unbiased media would report the hazards of water sports rather than gun shows.

Points to Keep in Mind:

1. These are minor injuries of the sort that get zero attention when it is a broken leg at a ski slope or horse show;

2. They are accidents, not intentional attacks, again indicating exploitation on the part of the media;

3. Gun owners need to stop politicians and their media conspirators from exploiting accidental mishaps in the agenda to register private gun sales with the FBI via NICS.

The Fight for Freedom Applies to Enemies Foreign and Domestic

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV571FNpIcc

There’s a sound heard across the land
It’s heard across the sea
You’ll only hear it if you listen with your hearts
And one day hope to be free

To hear the sound of freedom many gave their lives
They fought for you and me
Those memories will always live in silence
And now it’s our time to be free

Where the eagles fly – I will soon be there
If you want to – come along with me my friend
Say the words and you’ll be free
From the mountains to the sea
We’ll fight for freedom again

Scream out loud for all the world to hear
From sea to shining sea ??
Let freedom ring and every man be king
To live as one through the years

Now is the time we all must stand together
So raise your hands show them we are strong
Side by side the fight goes on forever
Marching to the battle with this song

Explanation of Natural Born Citizen

The article [below] has a good explanation of what the Founders of this country understood to be a “Natural Born Citizen”  As he explains here, it has nothing to do with BHO being born in Hawaii or not.  Please read the entire article – this is what I was talking about at the MCMM 2nd Amendment meeting Wed. night. I also agree with him on Marco Rubio – he is not eligible to be president either.

RUBIO MUST DISQUALIFY HIMSELF FROM HIGH OFFICE

By J.B. Williams

NewsWithViews.com

If so-called “constitutionalists” were better acquainted with the Constitution (Charters of Freedom), they would not be supporting Marco Rubio for an office he is not eligible to hold and they would have already removed Barack Hussein Obama from the office he currently holds fraudulently.

City vs. Country – Obvious Facts

There is a very good reason why people who live in cities tend to be liberal while those who live in rural areas tend to be conservative. In a city, the existence of nearby neighbors, the shared dependence on infrastructure and the close proximity of police stations automatically lends itself to a socialist mindset. On issues like guns, city people seem to be unable to imagine why anyone would “need” a rifle, for example, and because all guns scare them, they would prefer to force everyone across the country to turn them all in.

“Assault Weapons” Must be Stored in Govt. Approved Facility

Massachusetts State Rep. David P. Linsky and Barack Obama

Massachusetts State Representative David Linsky has filed a new bill that would force gun owners to undergo mental health background checks, pay an additional 25% tax on all forms of ammunition, and require firearms categorized as “assault weapons” to be stored outside of their homes at government approved sites.

Natick Patch reported, via Black Listed News:

“This bill is a comprehensive effort to reduce all types of gun violence – murders, intentional shootings, accidental shootings and suicides.  There is not one solution to reducing gun violence – we can’t eliminate it – but there are a lot of common-sense steps that we can take to significantly reduce the everyday tragedy of gun violence and deaths,” said Linsky…

…“I have spoken with hundreds of people over the past few weeks in developing this legislation – victims, police officers, criminologists, physicians, and yes – gun owners and sportsmen,” stated Linsky. “There are a lot of good ideas out there. We should all have one goal – reducing gun violence and trying to keep more tragedies from happening.”

Provisions in the bill include: Continue reading

Ever Wonder Why North Carolina Does Not Have a Firearms Freedom Act?

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-r7eOsYaktg

As rallies and protests are starting to catch fire in North Carolina, what kind of support will we receive from the Republican controlled General Assembly and Governor? I will admit that the last session made progress on the 2nd amendment front in our state. However, petty politicians in the GOP also hindered several pieces of legislation related to our 2nd amendment rights. The video above shows how HB 241 was not even allowed to move out of committee for a floor vote. A committee chaired by Republican Rep. Blust and with a majority of GOP representatives present voting. We can “thank” Rep. Phil Berger (R) and Sen. Tom Apodaca (R) for their successful efforts to block HB 111.

The Republican symbol is an elephant. Let’s make sure that the Republicans in “power” understand that we share a common trait with the elephant: we do not forget.

Fukushima Black Swan

Mike – the slightly crispy looking Marusoi…

Why would a radioactive fish make news on a financial website (article below)? The Marusoi fish that was caught on January 18th showed a 10 fold increase in radioactive levels as the previous record from last August. The reactor core(s) at Fukushima Daichi have been breached and are leaking. Based on this story, the leakage is growing. Obviously one fish is not enough to be a credible sample size for any statistic analysis. Although the Japanese (and US) government are aware of this leakage as the plant sinks, there will be no announcement to the general public as there is no solution to this growing problem.

Since wreckage from the 2011 Japanese tsunami was found in San Francisco last August, what impact will this have on the West Coast of the United States? That brings us back to the original question concerning the financial implications of Fukushima Daichi Unit 4 sinking. Japan cannot withstand the financial consequences of this disaster once the true scope becomes known. This could be the Black Swan event that will have worldwide consequences. Let’s just add this to the bottom of the list of concerns that we are facing.

We Can’t Believe Anything from the MSM

Still getting your news from the main stream media? The government propaganda engines have been repeatedly caught providing doctored and staged ‘news’ to America. It always follows the agenda of the global elite. The following video is one more example. How much longer will we continue to accept the BS propaganda being dished out to us?

Attention Haters: You lost.

The Citadel project is now alive, not only as a venture, but as an ideal in the hearts and minds of Liberty-loving Americans from coast to coast.  The project has weathered first contact with ideological enemies and emerged even stronger than before, now tempered to an even stronger hardness by the fires of enemies.

Spring arrives in just about 2 months, and site development will proceed on schedule.

Enemies of Liberty: You lost.  You can’t destroy the Citadel project, because it is not about Kerodin.  Thank you for helping make the project stronger.  Thank you for helping more Patriots find the project.

2nd Amendment Rally – North Carolina Is “Catching Fire”

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmgI4aR6248

There was a large turnout for the 2nd Amendment Rally in Raleigh, NC on January 19, 2013. This is the beginning of the people “catching fire” to secure our right to bear arms under the 2nd amendment. As outlined here, contact your state representatives and senators and make North Carolina pass legislation nullifying any (more) federal legislation limiting the 2nd amendment.

Thanks to Raymond Bonaparte for organizing this event. The next 2nd Amendment event is on February 5th organized by Grass Roots North Carolina.
