Israelis spill US scenario

An American attack on Iran’s nukes would begin with “hundreds of cruise missiles” meant to demolish Iranian air defenses, intelligence facilities and radar stations, Israeli newspapers report.

The missile barrage would be followed by a wave of bunker-buster bombs dropped from B-52s that would destroy the nuclear facilities themselves.

“After the attack, an ultimatum would be issued to Iran to stop its military nuclear program immediately. In return, the West would supply it with peaceful nuclear reactors,” the Tel Aviv paper Maariv reported.

The bombshell revelations come days after Defense Secretary Leon Panetta visited Israel to assure government leaders that the United States will protect Israel from Iran’s nuclear plans.

But Israeli officials seemed unwilling to accept Panetta’s assurances that President Obama has their backs, media reports say.

“Obama will not attack Iran — never,” Netanyahu was quoted as telling Shaul Mofaz, the opposition leader. “In his second term, Obama will care even less about us than he cares now.”

Funding al Qaeda Violates the NDAA – Arrest Obama

In a recent article, Be Careful What You Wish For, I outlined the administration’s “secret” financing of al Qaeda in Syria. What is the penalty for aiding terrorists if you are a US citizen under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)? This legislation was signed at the end of 2011 with little attention from the media. Although a concerted effort to raise awareness about the consequences of this destruction of the Bill of Rights was made, patriotic stalwarts like Allen West and Mitt Romney both supported this legislation.

So where does that leave Americans? Is there one sheriff willing to stand up for Liberty and the Constitution and arrest Obama and the members of Congress for this violation of the law? Will Sheriff Joe Arpaio arrest John McCain in Arizona for his role in supporting terrorism? Will Eric Holder’s two tiered justice system even consider enforcing the law on the “elite” or “his people”?

The U.S. Government is Funding Muslim Terrorists Who Are Killing Roman Catholics & Christians

Government Policy Leading to Persecution of Christians

Most Americans are Christians.

But few know that the acts of our American government are leading to the persecution of Christians in numerous countries.

According to the Vatican’s official news service – Fides – and many other Christian news sources, the Syrian opposition is targeting Christians.  Priests and bishops on the ground in Syria confirm these reports.

As a Syrian priest writes in the Guardian:

Despite what you might read in much of the western media, Syria is an enlightened, secular society with a deeply spiritual core and the common belief is that Syria is for everybody. A fundamentalist state would destroy the traditions of co-existence and religious harmony that have existed here since the fall of the Ottoman Empire nearly 100 years ago. Syrian independence was won with the blood of all Syrians – Muslim, Christian, Druze, Alawite and Kurdish.

As BBC notes:

Syria has for much of the century had a sizeable Christian minority, making up at least 10% of the population.

***

In recent years Syria has been considered one of the easier Middle Eastern countries for Christians to live in. Power is concentrated in the hands of the Alawite minority – a Shia sect considered heretical by many Muslims – which has clamped down hard on extreme forms of Islam.

Indeed, PBS reports that Syrian Christians are accepting arms from the government to protect themselves against Islamic terrorists.

US ARMY WARGAMING MILITARY RESPONSE TO TEA PARTY

POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT – AUGUST 4, AD 2012

I tried to tweet this but the website in question, SmallWarsJournal.com, causes all tweets to go to the home page. Please spread and repost this. It needs to be seen by as many people as possible. Here’s the link:Full Spectrum Operations in the Homeland: A “Vision” of the Future

This isn’t some wild bee-ess from some Alex Jones site. This is the real deal. The author is a retired Colonel currently on staff at Ft. Leavenworth, which is the hub of all flag officer advanced education and indoctrination. Ft. Leavenworth is not called “the Little Pentagon” for nothing.

The piece is lengthy, but worth the read. It is basically war gaming how the United States military would be deployed to put down a “Tea Party insurgency”. Some choice quotes:

Under present law, which initially stemmed from bad feelings about Reconstruction, the military’s domestic role is highly circumscribed. In the situation we lay out below, even though the governor refuses to seek federal help to quell the uprising (the usual channel for military assistance), the Constitution allows the president broad leeway in times of insurrection.

THE 401K CONFISCATION: THE GHILARDUCCI PLAN – ANN BARNHARDT

POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT – AUGUST 4, AD 2012

PREFACE: I originally posted this on May 6, 2010. Just for giggles, I looked up the gold and silver markets on May 6, 2010.

Gold: $1170 per ounce 5/6/2010, $1603 yesterday
Silver: $17.59 per ounce 5/6/2010, $27.78 yesterday

Just sayin’.

Let’s start with citations first.

Where to begin, where to begin. Well, a long time ago an angel named Lucifer decided that he was going to rebel against God . . .

That might be a little too much back story, but you get the drift. Let’s fast]forward to November 20, 2007. The “Economic Policy Institute ] Agenda For Shared Prosperity” (which holds the dubious honor of having the most thoroughly COMMUNIST NAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE) published its Briefing Paper #204, authored by flaming Marxist Teresa Ghilarducci.

Teresa is a member of the faculty at The New School in New York City, which is a Socialist University. Now, you might say, “Ann, ALL universities in this country could rightly be called “socialist” nowadays”. True dat. But the New School makes Berkeley and Columbia look like Oral Roberts University and BYU by comparison. No, the New School is LITERALLY a socialist university. It was originally called the “University in Exile” and was begun by a bunch of Neo]Marxist scholars who were thrown out of fascist Italy and Nazi Germany in the early 1930s. Yeah. Remember my post about how Marxists purge intellectuals? But the other, somewhat humourous angle is that these guys were such extreme Marxists that they made Hitler and Mussolini UNCOMFORTABLE. Wowzer. So, they emigrated to NYC, where they would Fit. Right. In. Dude.

A Look from the Other Side – Occupy Oakland Murders

On Tuesday July 31st, two steadfast Occupy comrades were violently murdered, Tsega Tsegay and Alex Mahan. Tsega was beaten to death by her husband, and Alex Mahan, a Stockton comrade, was killed in a driveby shooting. We know that these murders are the result of society built on violence, a society that destroys the lives of women, transpeople, queers, people of color, the poor, and everyone else who is not rich, white and a (cis) man. May the memories of our fallen comrades be fuel for our fire – fuel that helps us burn down this disgusting system that’s taken you from us and build a better one, together. You committed yourselves to this struggle and we will continue with you in our hearts always.387130_413586412011649_198859356_n.jpg

On 401Ks – Ann Barnhardt

POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT – AUGUST 3, AD 2012

401k plan of attack:

1. STOP MAKING CONTRIBUTIONS if you haven’t already.

2. Liquidate it. Pay the “penalty”. Would you rather pay a penalty or have it all stolen? Or possibly replaced with a “government savings account” comprised of Treasury paper which will probably default or be confiscated long before you are ever allowed to “tap it”, and will NOT be able to be passed to your heirs should you croak, but will instead be resorbed back into the collective? Oh, and don’t bother whining to me about the “tax consequences”. Paying income taxes to this satanic baby-killing Christ-hating government is now, absolutely MORTAL SIN. Why, why, why would you pay taxes?

3. If you can’t liquidate it, take out a loan on the balance. Take out the maximum possible loan, and then set up the repayment schedule on the longest possible term.

Citizens and Sovereigns

I see it so clearly in my mind’s eye.  Thatched roofs, billowing smoke with flames lapping, ready to consume the pitiful mud and waddle hovel.  Cruel faced men sit astride fierce mounts, demanding obeisance from cowering peasants.  These are the dark days before the dawn of liberty.  In this world, men and women are little more than chattel, owning nothing.  Their labors are not their own.  They toil bitterly for their meager existence, knowing their sovereign may require the fruits of their labor without notice or cause.  Their lives are fodder for the nobles who take great joy in exercising complete power over their subjects, both for personal gain and for the twisted pleasure of wreaking destruction on helpless peasants.

The Dark Ages were called dark for a reason.  Society was hallmarked by a great chasm of classes – the masses worked for the betterment of the few and the few tyrannized the masses.  As we stand idly by, our world is growing dark once more.

Our constitution was written to govern free men.  The wording was concise and specific.  The preamble begins “We the people of the United States…..”, not “We the citizens of the United States”.  It was worded thus to keep men free.  The difference between “People” and “Citizen” is the difference between serf and king.

Iran tests upgraded version of short-range missile

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran claimed Saturday it has successfully test-fired an upgraded version of a short-range ballistic missile with improved accuracy, increasing the Islamic Republic’s capability to strike both land and naval targets.

Defense Minister Gen. Ahmad Vahidi said the solid-fueled Fateh-110 has a range of 300 kilometers (185 miles). He claimed the weapon could strike with pin-point precision, making it the most accurate weapon of its kind in Iran’s arsenal.

“By reaching this generation of the Fateh-110, a new capability has been added to our armed forces in striking sea and land targets,” state TV quoted Vahidi as saying. “Few countries in the world possess the technology to build such missiles.”

Iran’s military leaders have said they believe future wars will be air- and sea-based and Tehran has sought to upgrade its air defense systems and naval power in anticipation of such a possibility.

Iran has also been pushing to upgrade its missiles, which already can target Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East. The Pentagon released a report in June noting significant advances in Iranian missile technology, acknowledging that the Islamic Republic has improved the accuracy and firing capabilities of its missiles.

How long will Syria’s government last? The lessons learned in Libya may have tempered the US response in Syria until it was released this week that Obama was secretly supplying weapons to the “rebels”. But this was not really a secret: media outside the mainstream and this country have been reporting on the US rebel (Muslim Brotherhood) support for months. The buildup and planning of US aid was reported here on June 11th. Debka reported on May 22 that Obama was supplying the rebels with anti-tank missiles to defend against Russian T-72 tanks.

Putin has masterfully put the United Nations in checkmate as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon admits:

“The conflict in Syria is a test of everything this organization stands for.”

The only sure thing in Syria’s future is that Russia will keep its naval bases in Tartus and Latakia intact at any cost. With Putin acting as Assad’s big brother, the opposition forces have been kept in check and are now fractured. As outlined below, there are now several factions in Syria which are vying for control when the country collapses. Continue reading

A World with no Liberals…

I am very proud to have your trust in our III Arms Project, and that is where I am devoting my spare energy. I want our prototypes built, refined and ready for production ASAP. I often assign myself timelines that are too aggressive, but I want our first offering, our 1911, ready for production within 90 days. That’s my target. I hope I beat it. If we run a little longer, so be it. We won’t sacrifice quality for an artificial timeline I pulled out of the air.

It was 8 days ago when I floated the request to you all for contributions to pursue III Arms. I set a shoestring minimum of $25,000 to get us through the prototype stage and to get our first media kit built, everything ready for production.

We seem stuck just about $3k short of our target in pledges – we’ve been there for a few days now.

I’ll keep the Founding Members opportunity open until Wednesday next week, the 8th – 2 weeks for III Patriots to be part of this history. Dig deep, folks. $250 is the minimum buy-in, but every dollar you can add to that makes it easier and faster to reach our goals. You will be an official Member of the company that is putting the most patriotically infused firearms in America in the hands of Patriots.

Consider that for a moment, folks. The III is a political Movement, our common premise is Liberty. Every one of you who is a Founding Member of III Arms Company will be responsible for helping to put the tools of freedom and Liberty on gun store shelves and in the hands of Patriots across America.

Spain inches closer to seeking sovereign bailout

Spain inched closer to seeking a sovereign bailout on Friday as Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy opened the door to a request, although he said he needed first to know the attached conditions as well as the form the rescue would take.

At a news conference on Friday, the first he has attended after the weekly cabinet meeting since he took power in December, Rajoy said no decision could be taken until further details are agreed.

But he said he was ready to do what is best for the country.

He went further than he did on Thursday when, during a press appearance with Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti, Rajoy three times declined to say whether he would seek aid and trigger a concerted action of the European Central Bank and the European Union rescue funds to bring down Spain’s borrowing costs.

“I will do, as I always do, what I believe to be in the best interest of the Spanish people,” Rajoy said on Friday.

“We still don’t know what these measures are,” he said, reference to a comment by European Central Bank president Mario Draghi that the bank was examining non-conventional measures to defend the euro.

“What I want to know is what these measures are, what they mean and whether they are appropriate and, in light of the circumstances, we will make a decision, but I have still not taken any decision,” he said.
